The Night Games

~Plot~

In the magical world of Mellasia lives three races, human, Elvin and the werewolves. The three races separate themselves from each other and have different territories around Mellasia. Every ten years creatures from a different world called the Night Lands come to Mellasia with one purpose, to take as many children who's ages range from twelve to nineteen and have them play in a series of games called the Night Games in their own world. The Night Keeper is the nightmarish man who created these games, but this decade is different because this time the children are planning some games themselves and it will be the Night Keeper playing his rounds.

The Creatures of the Night Lands are called shadows and their appearance are sickly grey or pale white skin, their hair ranges from deep set auburn, dark, muddy brown or midnight black; their eye colors are grey, black and blood-red and they move as if they are nothing but gliding shadows

Mellasia is a world who is mixed with the dark ages, the Victorian Era and modern day things, I'll just let you decide everything.

Name: Alexander (Alex) Marvin Kyrvoshki.
Age: 19.
Gender: Male.
Race: Werewolf.

Ability: Alex can 'turn wolf' so long as it is night but he can only transform into a fully fledged werewolf on the night of the full moon and during the transformation, he has a limited control over his instincts. While in human form, Alex is slightly faster and stronger than a normal human.

Personality: Alex doesn't physically hurt people (other than the 'shadows') but he comes across as distant and uncaring. He's the sort of person who steps in when he's really needed to prevent people getting hurt but he doesn't say nice thinks. He can be a brutally honest judge of character, unafraid to tell someone that they're impatient or weak or frivolous. Alex is also reckless. While he'll not purposefully endanger others without good reason, he frequently throws himself into fights that are beyond him.

History: Alex lost his little sister to the shadows four years ago. She was playing football with him and four of his friends. When the shadows tried to capture Melanie, the other four boys fled and Alex tried to save her but failed and was disregarded by the shadows because they'd already collected enough male werewolves. Since then, Alex has made a conscious effort to protect werewolves, humans and elves alike from the shadows while plotting ways to defeat them. He does not know if his sister is dead or not.

Weapons: Two long knives and a collection of twenty throwing knives, all inscribed with a different Celtic symbol.

Other: Alex detests cowards, especially those who run away from a fight and leave others behind. He is known as the 'Venger' to some and has been known to carve a letter 'c' or 'v' on the forehead of those he deems cowards or villains. Alex does not kill except where shadows are concerned.

Zachariah will be played by summergrl13 and Natasha will be played by Angel of Death

Ability: Her ability is that she can teleport herself to any part of the Night Lands

Personality: Natasha is a very odd shadow because she is the only creature alive to even have the Night Keeper look at her twice, she's abnormally kind for a shadow and has secretly helped the stolen children before.

Name: Brahn Ravahldar
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Night Elf(A mixture between a shadow and an Elf. If this isn't allowed then he's just Elvin )
Ability: Exquisite blades master, he can wield 2 long swords with ease. He attacks with utter speed and agility, and has found no other that could match him in a sword fight. He can deflect any sort of weapon thrown at him and is skilled at using one of his blades as a shield without it being scratched or shattered. His only weakness is magical attacks, but has a strong barrier around his mind, making it hard to penetrate.

Personality: Brahn is very quick witted and mostly keeps to himself. He is a lover and very romantic, but does not let that side of him show. He is usually cynical and a jack arse, preferring to keep his past life to himself rather than share it. He is VERY hot tempered and quick to draw his blades, never stopping to judge his own ability.
History: Brahn was born into a very fight-oriented family. He was forced to train every day of his life with various sorts of weapons, until he found his true weapon: duel wield blades. His parents were more slave drivers than care-takers, forcing him to lose all respect for them. When he came of age and ability, he finally cracked and murdered them both, along with his twin sisters and the baby on the way. He let his act drive him mad, and he lived his life from 14 to 18 in the middle of a forest by himself, killing anyone or anything that dared cross his path. At the age of 18 he found his way to a village about a 3 day walk from where he had been living, intent on getting rid of his insanity and living a normal life. That was when he was found, and taken away to the Night Games.

History: she is very young, only age 16, therefore she will not be as wise as she ought to. she hasn't lived much blah blah

Ability: she can control a few elements and has a bit of liking for dark magic

Appearance(Pictures Are Preferred): I'm at school and can't get a pic sorry. She is tall and slender with an italian look about her (even though I know this does not exhist in the make believe world) Withdark eyes and dark hair. She is fairly pretty.

Personality: quiet when she doesn't know you. Easy to befriend, once you get to know her you may see that some of her inner landscaping is quite interesting. She is a pessimist and keeps to herself sometimes. She is good at hiding her emmotions.

History: she was born into a wealthy yet torn family. She has three older brothers and her mother and father act as the heads of the house. She has a nanny and a black cat names Josh. Her family's mansion is in a forresty areas of Mellesia and well hidden. Her father is the warlock in the family, her mother the human. All of her brothers are very powerful as she is destined to become one day.

Ability: He doesn't have any supernatural powers or anything, though he does have an uncanny ability with both a gun and a hand-held knife (switchblade).
Appearance(Pictures Are Preferred): White blonde hair, cut at odd lengths with a knife by his older brother. Green eyes. A scar running down his face; from hairline, though his left eye and stopping at the corner of his mouth.
Personality: Likes a laugh at other people's expense and enjoys making people feel uncomfortable, but is a hypocrite as he gets extremely angry if someone does the same things to him.
History: Has an older brother, Benjamin, and a younger sister, Jocelyn. While his parents are happily married, they live a separate life to their children's, tending to be dreaming of the past when they were childhood sweethearts. Benjamin was the one who taught Faolan to be street smart and how to shoot a gun, and Faolan is constantly trying to be better than his brother. Jocelyn died when they were little; getting hit by a truck while they walked home from school.
Other: He's bisexual (also up for love) and still goes to highschool, even though his teachers think he's a failure.

Personality: Not evil - sarcastic and pessimistic. Negative and always has a wry coment to make someone feel either bad or good. Largely feels its somehow always his fault.

History: Was originally human, but wandered into the Nightlands following one of his siblings who had been selected to be chosen for the games. He slowly transformed into a shadow, but is still, personality-wise, human.

Ability: A great swords man, a great blacksmith as well. He knows how to use any weapon given to him

Personality: Sarcastic, likes braging. Arrogant
History: He has till this point never been in the games before. He is the son of a black smith of his town, and has been learning swords manship from a knight.
Other: Does not like shadows, not too but a bit sovinistic.

Personality: Snappy, alway on the edge of insanity but acts cool and calm. Happy when she comes to it. Short temper
History: Peaceful life, a normal elven childhood, but has been trained as a soldier.

Name: Frost Van Darkmoon (Goes by Frost)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Race: Possibly Lycan/vampire if not then Werewolf

Ability: On full moons she can transform into her werewolf form. However, on regular nights she can turn into her wolf form whenever she feels it necessary. She's never truley thirsty she just gets a gut feeling that she needs to eat. The only time she ever gets thirst is on full moons when she transforms into her were form. She can also use a longsword and daggers. She has a frost wolf named Shinar, and can summon many others. When she wants she can look into others minds and find out their past.

Personality: She's extremely sarcastic and has sort of an attitude. She's smart with her words and is a quick thinker. Although she's sarcastic, smart mouthed, and all the others listed above she's also very protective of her friends and will kill anyone who tries to hurt one of them.

History: I'm going to lie right now and say she had the best life a kid could ask for. She was born to a werewolf couple. They were caring, loving, and kind-hearted, but soon that all changed. At age seven her mother had already became a prostitute and her father was always coming home drunk. On her thirteenth birthday her mother and father forgot all about her coming of age. In fact, her father got so angry that she'd mentioned it to them that he snatched up his dirk and sliced from her mid-forehead, down her right eye, and stopped at her cheek bone, blinding her almost at once. That same night she ran away from them, still bleeding and sobbing extremely hard. As she ran towards the town doctor and group of three vampire ambushed her, one of them sucking her dry and turning her. By age fourteen, after that vampire had taken her in and treated her wounds they trained her in swordsmanship, which she is proudly a master of now. When she was fifteen she was taken into her first Night Game, she got out, but with life-long scars, but not from battle. She fell in love with a shadow and he raped her. If one looks close enough she has small scars and knicks on her neck, wrists, and hips from that said rape.

Weapons: One longsword that's strapped to her back and has ancient werewolf language engraved into it, two long daggers with the same engravings, and one dirk that is strapped inside her shoe.
