my last post was the fight! Hesione defeated Deltax, and they're going to the temple to discuss terms.

**Sorry, didn't get any time to post yesterday**

Deltax

The Greek was simmering with fury - clearly he'd underestimated the girl's skill as a fighter, not a mistake he'd make again. He silently cursed his impatience, it had always been the one thing preventing him from achieving his father's level of expertise as a warrior. He leaned against the temple wall, fingers playing over the sword he'd retrieved shortly afterwards, contemplating how long he should wait before recapturing her - and it would end that way, no matter how skilled she was, she had been raised a slave, he had been raised a fighter. His only weakness had been overconfidence, and it would not happen again. He smiled a little to her, "So. What is there to discuss about my presence in this area that you call your kingdom? I don't see any reason that I should end it here, especially considering that a messenger is already on his way back to Greece with news of your return. To leave now would be considered an act of cowardice."

Hesione stared off into the distance. "I may not have much to threaten you with," said said to Deltax, "But I may have something that you might want." "And what is that?" he asked. She beckoned for him to follow her. They walked past the empty spot where the Pallidium had once stood.

Deltax

He frowned, she'd managed to put him very much off balance with that. What could she possibly have that he'd want? He followed her, mind working furiously through any possibilities: a former possession of his father's? Some kind of treasure from the gods? But no, anything like that would've almost certainly been looted. He shrugged, contenting himself to wait a little longer before finding out.

Pelop:

He reached his cousin, and the captive Deltax,

"What do you plan for him, dear cousin?" Says Pelop "and what do you plan for my brother, who even now is languishing in captivity of the Greek soldiers?" the edge in his voice betrays worry.

"You'll see," Hesione says, "and your brother will be fine, dont worry, the soldiers will not harm him, on the off chance that he might be Greek royalty"

Deltax

He shot a glare at Pelop, "You understand, no doubt, that the second my soldiers get the idea that I have been killed, your brother will be executed. Son of Agamemnon or not, I remind you that your lands in Greece are no longer ruled by your family, while mine still are." He gripped his sword, "I'm also here of my own free will. I'm no one's captive."

Hesione rolled her eyes. Why were men always so hard to deal with? "If you two are done with your little debate over royal blood, would follow me? Quietly!" Pelop and Deltax followed behind her smugly. she gropped along the caverns wall, feeling for the secret latch. Her hands brushed it, and she motioned for them to stop. She pulled the latch and the rock groaned as it slid aay to reveal a door. She turned the knob and the door opened, creaking with age. She heard the two grasp. "By Zeus the Thunderer!" whispered Pelop.

I couldn't think of anything! I have no idea what's meant to be in that room, and I can't think of what would be. I think it's up to you on that one.

Deltax

"How...how is this possible? My father's armour was given to Odysseus after the war."

Hesione nodded, "It was. What you're seeing now is the armour that he leant to Patroclus. It was hidden in here, and your father's friends never recovered it."

Deltax looked away from the armour for a moment, "And what exactly do you intend to bargain with my father's armour?"

Pelop stood, at the entrance of the cave-opening, watching the two discuss the armor. It was unimportant to him, as far as who it belonged to, the only importance it held for him was a chance to rescue his brother (now languishing in the clutches of the Greek barbarians).

Grave stood just behind the boy. She didn't care. For all he knew she was a Greek.
