Taber nodded. "Yeah! It'd be cool if people weren't honest about things, but the truth is always nice, and lies are always bad. And you shouldn't go up against people who are being mean to Nathan, because wow, that's pretty not rude of them?"
"Exactly!" Jane earnestly agreed. The air hadn't grown too hot yet, but she knew she'd have to stop telling the truth soon - she could already see Thanatos growing uncomfortable off to the side. "It's especially rude when you think about how we're not actual truthtellers and liars - well, we are to some extent, but it's not our choice. We just embody what everyone else in the existence does, so they should give him a little respect."
"That doesn't make sense!" Taber said, tugging at the collar of his shirt. It really was heating up, and him having as much fur as he did wasn't doing him any favors. "Since you're not the personifications of that stuff and all. You just, don't collect all the lies and truths people are telling, and just don't keep them going, so people can't take those truths and lies and make new ones, or something like that?" He paused. "Er, I guess it makes more sense than I thought it did?"

"It did get a little confusing, but you tried," Jane comforted him. She turned to Xain - he was, after all, the reason she was telling the truth right now. "How's your fur doing?"
