I wake turning to cover her mouth but instead over shoot and touch her hair the room is pitch black...

I feel something touch me softly, so I instantly turn towards it.

Until the whip hits again and I jerk away, falling onto the floor.

I was laying on top of the cover so I fall on top of her...

I move off of her putting her in my lap,"Shhhhh, everything is okay you enemies will be vanquished and suffer eternal torture by your hand, shhhhhhhh..."

I open my eyes, just as he goes to bring the whip down again.

I look around, but all I see was Loki's neck, and hear his voice.

"L...loki?" I ask, scared that this is another evil dream.

"Loki? What happened?" I cry, burying my face in my hands.

Artemis turns to Alaina. "What's happening?"

A portal opens next to her and Maia Silvertongue steps out. She smiles at Artemis. "Hello, Artemis."
She looks around. "Where am I?"

"It was a nightmare, shhhhh, it is okay now...." I look at her sleepily.

"I didnt mean to wake you." Eris says, looking at Loki.

"Its fine..", I pick her up with the cover and lay her back in the bed following suit.. "Nightmares trouble me some nights..." I remember my own screaming terrors in the night...

"Sorry baout earlier too." She covers her face.

"I was mean. I didnt mean to be. My brain thought all negative."

"Its fine..", I lay back against the twisted pillows, between my insomnia and her thrashing we had made a mess...

She turns away and pulls her knees up to her chest, willing herself to no give into the darkness pulling at her mind.

I drape my arm around her shoulders, this is going to be a loooong night...
