I look back at her, "Eli. Yours?"

Clementine

I sigh, "Clementine. But you can call me Clem. I dislike my long name."

Eli

I flash a smile and nod, "Nice meeting you, Clem."

Clem

I smile, "You too, Eli."

Eli

I study her before glancing around at the flowers again, "Are you from here?"

Clem

I smile, "Nah. I wish. I'd be way prettier. You?"

Eli

I shake my head, "No. I'm just passing through, blending in."

Clem

I nod, "Ah. That's kind of what I'm doing. But staying."

Eli

Nodding, I sigh, "It's not smart for me to stay in one place for long, even somewhere as far away from the mortal world as possible. I have to keep moving."

Clem

I study him, "Why?"

Eli

I study her and hesitate before deciding to say, "Because of my parents, what happened to them, and what I did in response."

Clem

I nod and look down at another Rose, "Ah."

Eli

I glance up at the sky for a moment, remembering everything, before looking back around me.

Clem

I glance up at him and sigh, "Sup."

Eli

I flash a smile and glance at her, shrugging, "Just... sitting here."
