Hi there! Welcome to the OOC thread for my Minecraft roleplay. I’ve written and read a lot of Minecraft fanfiction before, so I thought it would be helpful to flesh out what this version of Minecraft is like before anyone formally joins the roleplay. If you’re ever unsure about any of the world’s mechanics, let me know! They should be pretty straightforward.
- Even though the game (and roleplay photo) is blocky, everything looks real and not-blocky now.
- Everyone is currently able to respawn, but death can occur in the future.
- Keep inventory is off, but inventories do exist and can be accessed.
- If someone does die, a death message will magically appear in white text in front of everyone else.
- Usernames will not be shown, but can be shared instead of actual names
- If someone had a power pre-ending up in minecraft, they’ve lost it.
- Everyone is starting from scratch. It’s a new world.
- When something dies, it turns into white pixels.
- Everyone now looks and sounds like their skin. Do what you will with that.
