It was so fun reading the part where Jay recognized Vel before she recognized him! I also just have this really funny, definitely not canon scene in my head rn of Runi finding out about the werewolf thing later and wanting to be mad at Jay still but secretly thinking that's a pretty neat magic-
i mean we will probably need to do like one more pad meetup/brainstorm to wrinkle out deets of these last two chapters to tie in all our ideas, but yes... the END IS NEAR
Runi brushed her fingers over her healed stomach for a moment before she pulled what remained of her torn shirt down, even though the gaping whole by the spear was still there.
i'm loving the mental image that just appeared in my head when i read this line. that's such a look and such a runi thing to do.
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of
worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to
eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort. — JRR Tolkien
