Aaron, Berras, the Priestess and the Calliarus are a group on their own. They won't be there when the Diamond gets found, but they will play a crucial role in the end climax (if this were a novel, the end climax would be the final ten or so chapters)
But Aaron is one of the characters with whom I have one of the most important plans of all the characters... (I hinted at it in my post as Berras... ) Don't worry, I don't plan on killing Aaron... Unless you want that, that is...
