Yes, actually I was just going to tell you all about that. I'm thinking that we can go this Saturday. Sounds good?
Ok, we need to do some planning, and I need your help. I am horrible at determining prophecies. So here it is again:
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call. To storm or fire, the world must fall. An oath to keep with the final breath, And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.
I don't even know where to begin (I know, I'm a horrible leader). They need a reason to be going off on a quest. Maybe mother Earth stirs and causes some trouble. 'Cause, like, you know, in the past she's tried to kill the gods. So, she could wake up some terrible monsters and send them to destroy Olympus.
I don't know, I'm completely failing at this. Does any one else have any ideas?
I'm a JESUS FREAK!!!
Do you have any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?
Seven Half Bloods shall answer the call Seven of us will go on this quest (As everybody knows )
To storm or fire, the world must fall. I'm guessing this is where you got the mother earth thing? Isn't her name Gaia (not sure, but that is my educated guess) I actually think that this line refers to a world war or something. The earth is in danger of being destroyed by something. The magical being could also be leading mortals into war. That could give the campers something to do as well with the whole war thing.
An oath to keep with the final breath, Someone in the group needs to make an oath of some sort. Probably involves death. You know how prophesies are.
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death. This one is tricky. It seems from just the looks of it that the enemy will fight to their deaths, but that makes things way to easy. It pretty much tells us that we will win. Or it could mean that the enemy is marching towards Hades for some reason. Probably do take it over or destroy it.
Well, that was my interpretation. I hope that helps you make sense of the prophesy. Let me know if you need clarification, because I do want to help.
Good one, Ithy... Hmm. If Cassandra is one of the seven, I'd be happy for her to make an oath.
As for the prophecy. Maybe Kronos is at it again? Or perhaps one of the other Titians?
And from the line "To storm or fire, the world must fall", it's obvious that it means a war of some kind.
The next live is also obvious. Someone is going to make an oath...and then they're going to die.
And the last line? Doors of Death reminds of an entrance into the Underworld... I've no idea why, it just does. Then again, I'm not sure. "And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death" could be anything, really. So, I've no idea on that bit.
EDIT: I just realized something... To Storm or Fire. What gods would be represented by that?
"With friends like you, who needs a medical license?" - Paimon, Aether's Heart
“It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.” - Grace Hopper.
I think it would be the 7 teaming up with Hades because them bearing arms could be showing him they are willing to work with him and work with other people who are usually against the campers; maybe the hunters? Hades could also be a foe.
Oh, the hunters. That's a good idea, Road! They could be the foes.
Hephaestus is the god of fire; and the god of storm... Zeus? So maybe those two gods are fighting? Or maybe it's the fire Titan (Prometheus) and the storm Titan (Typhon).
I'm a JESUS FREAK!!!
Do you have any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?
Yeah, the enemies could have allied with Hades. Give them the army of the dead. Also, I believe Poseidon is known for storms among the gods along with Zeus. Like, Poseidon is usually blamed for sea storms while Zeus is blamed for storms over land. I'm not sure about the fire, so I'm inclined to agree about Hephaestus (man, I cannot spell that name! I had to refer 5 times in order to do that!)
Really, at this point it is really up to Dragonet. The prophesy is purposely left vague (just look at the original series) so now that we all have an idea, you can decide and go with that. I also think it would be cool if you don't tell us any more than we need to know from situation to situation. Kind of the surprise value.
