He'll grow into a Gardevoir, for certain. Don't you have two Kirlia?

@reikann I have two but I'm gonna change the female one into something else. Would a Feebas work for my new pokemon, @Lumi? It could learn surf and be used for water transportation.

as long as we get a scene where Elex tries to convince everyone that Feebass can carry everyone at once, then yes.

Absolument.

a few of you are new to lumibook structure, so i'll give a bit of a rundown of the basics:

1. the entire story is written episodically, formulated into seasons if applicable
1a. this means that stories will be mostly self-contained, but
1b. larger, overreaching arcs will spill into the grand narrative
2. comedy is an enormous factor for the storytelling, though
2a. we will cover some darker themes and
2b. some sad things are guaranteed
3. every character will be subject to a grand fleshing, which is to say that
3a. you WILL have feels for your character and
3b. the character you see now will not share some qualities with the character you see at the end
4. i value pushing my casts to grow in enormous ways, so
4a. you will push boundaries that you think you're incapable of and
4b. you will get frustrated with me
4c. for the remainder of your life, but
4d. more than likely you'll come back for more, and
4e. i really haven't figured out why that is

i'll always answer questions and be fair about stuff. i'm stubborn and sometimes you have to straight-up headbutt me to change my mind. do so. i think, finally, to note

5. @Bloo is the person I trust most with my literary career of anyone I've worked with, and even to me, his word is canon.
I am a forest fire and an ocean, and I will burn you just as much
as I will drown everything you have inside.

Okay! I have submitted my Motor Mouth field medic.
Do criticize, admins, should it be needed! What's a Pokemon adventure without a taste of evolution?

And even if they weren't, in Pokemon nothing would stop someone going to, say, Unova, and catching a Pokemon before coming back to Hoenn.

The SB rule limiting teams to the Hoenn-Regional would *wink*.

Wow. I'm usually attentive to just about everything, but whenever I try to sound smart I miss something. xD

Also @Lumi, sorry but I'm totally confused as to what episode format is in Lumibook. Is it like every few posts the "episode" changes and every "episode" has a base storyline that starts and ends in that episode, but there is also an overall storyline apparent every season?

Our timeline is set when Professor Birch (the one in the games) is just a 19 year old nerdling with a dead dad and a lab to run, so we'll say that's 20 years before the events of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/ORAS. So think in terms of before international trade and travel were commonplace.

In fact, it's one of the plot threads for Junior to eventually set up the gym league in Hoenn, being inspired by the journey.

And Sheyren, it means that our stories will be written in a way that could be easily digested as an episode of television or anime. There are particular reasons I favor it, but it's mostly because it's just fun.

With this setup, seasons won't be a factor. It'll just be a series. The format keeps us from getting too novelesque and serious. (kek)

So think of how an episode of television is written self-contained, and apply that concept to this project. A lot of the writing will be done collaboratively anyway, so that may be the major disconnect happening--it's not really a roleplay, but instead a collaborative writing project.

I like that concept of the Lumibook. Maybe I ought to watch some old Pokemon cartoons to study, eh? ;)
What program will we be using to collaborate?

I made Mia by mashing random trope repeatedly. The result was interesting. Her pokemon have egg moves because of course.

@reikann --> most often WFP, sometimes google docs because Bloo got trapped in an addiction and it won't let them go. blame @chibibo.

i'll approve one more profile tonight, but after that i'm shutting my brain down for a few precious hours of recuperation--note that i didn't say sleep--before knuckling down to some more work elsewhere.

@Poopsie, how are things coming with...reliability gal?
