Hera's poem is amazing, I love the rhyming and the pictures that you're putting up every poem. Keep up the awesome work Leya XD I'm so excited to read your DoW poems, I can't wait! ^^
I love this poem! It really shows how the heartbreak of the position Hera is in, unable to escape her husband, but almost entirely unloved. Wonderful job!

how could i love when you make me out to be this way? i am still alive, still breathing and sometimes i wonder if i can just stop because it's too much.
and i sit here in the moonlit corridor, contemplating how i could possibly leave. a diety who is trapped beyond your world yet i didn't have a choice
though, i find simplicity in the darkness, how it curls and wraps around my soul, engulfing me in fires and shadows, like the river made of liquid silver, remnants of the tears i once shed.
but she heals everything, her words and her grace bring me back up, into the world that i once loved, and back into the person i once was.
my flower so lovely and divine how my heart grows roots and my fingertips blossom with passion whenever i lay eyes on her.
yet still i wonder if people know that even gods still crave the light and the love of the world above.
Through dense forests she moves, her eyes sharp, peircing the veil of night, and with her body the leaves rustle, a wind so strong it fills the air with her scent.
With every step, she commands respect, for her gaze lies in the force of nature, her spirit unwoken, unshaken, a testament to her undying will.
Her spirit is a song of unyeilding force, guiding the stars in their celestial ballet, harmonious blends of instinct and kill, a melody of strength, forever sung.
this is so beautiful, you got amazing talent with your poetry also if you are drawing all of these images that's amazing, you got talent and i'm so happy that your not afraid to show it, definitely looking forward to reading more of your poetry and seeing all of what you come up with later

picking a favorite part to the poem because why not this was just so powerfully written here it stood out so nicely, you did a wonderful job portraying who the main inspiration was to this poem with every line.
*looks up from writing* hi if you're reading thisI hope you have a lovely day!
My first try at a ballad, and it was so hard. I hope it's not as bad as I think it is xD.

Apollo's Ballad
Apollo
In the days of myth, where gods and goddesses roam, Apollo, king of the sun and arts, found home. His shimmering lyre played melodies so divine, Yet troubles shadowed his celestial shine.
Loves gentle touch, he felt for Daphne's grace, But fate transformed her into a leafy embrace. In Delphi's realm, a serpent threat arose, Apollo battled and triumphed over woes.
Yet with mortal pride, a contest did ignite, Against a man, Apollo faced his might. So skilled, yet he learned a new kind of race, A god of light, with shadows in his space.
Through Apollo's trials, we can see the light, That even gods go through struggles in their fight. But in his music, and in arts pure flame, Apollo's legacy forever claims its fame.
With all due respect Leya...I don't know if I can believe this is your first ballad, because it's amazing!! Love the rhymes you chose, they really make everything pop. Love this line especially:
Yet with mortal pride, a contest did ignite, Against a man, Apollo faced his might.
Feels...powerful, and bright. Perfect for the god of light, lol! Nicely done!! ^^
xD I’ve only ever written free verse and a few haiku’s, maybe a few rhyming poems. This style was super hard and I don’t think I’d ever do it again xD but I’m glad it’s better than I thought! Thank you <3 @RavenAkuma
Oh, how I adore the ruby elixir that flows like a river, A symphony of flavors that dance and twirl on my tongue. Sometimes she tastes like grapes, sometimes not, yet I love her regardless.
Each sip from her is like a tale of sun kissed vines, I find comfort in her notes of oak and fruit. In the depths of the cellar is where she sleeps, Hidden away for nobody to find but I.
To her timeless beauty, her intoxicating grace, I raise my glass, my heart ever so pure.
