I wrote a poem on chapter ten of The Outsiders, without pronouns!

The Hood And The Hero

On the night of the rumble,
Great strength was shown,
By six unlikely heroes,
Who's names will remain unknown.

The boys all fought bravely,
alongside each other,
and with Shepards,
the beat the Socs.

Two men were lost that day,
although from different causes,
one died a hero and the other a hood,
but both men did what was good.

On the hero's deathbed.
He told the men to stay gold,
but as the hood showed,
Nothing gold can stay.

Gloomy Brain

calm rain sad quiet
slowly dripping tears locked up
inside gloomy head

I tell the neophyte: Write a million words–the absolute best you can write, then throw it all away and bravely turn your back on what you have written. At that point, you’re ready to begin.
