Ky smiled a little, burying her hands in her pockets. It’d be nice to have a full group, so that there would be less need for Ky to talk to prevent things from getting awkward. She could simply coast by and pretend not to exist.

Violet dipped her head. "We'll wait, then." "What kind of armor are you going to get?" Tomhas asked Ky. "Like what sort of design?"

"Um... I mean, boiled leather... I-I don't know what design, though. What are the options? I feel like I'll know it when I see it... picking armor is my strong suit."
(I'm so sorry xD It's one of my last needed ones hahaha)

"Well they're probably going to have to make it for you, so it fits you properly. But I'm sure they have samples of leather and designs."

"Wait, you can't just..." Ky trailed off, hesitating. That sounded very expensive. "...the one I wore earlier fit me okay. I don't think it's really necessary to get anything custom, honestly. No point." In wasting all that money on her.
(WHEW I DID IT -- all 31!)

"Yeah, well, it won't fit you right if it's not custom. A suit that fits is extremely, extremely important, Ky."

(Thanks!! Some were a bit of a stretch xD but I’m counting them)
“Yeah… but… that also sounds really expensive,” she argued. “And if it’s custom to me, then no one else can use it when I’m done with it. And what if I get fat again like everyone wants?” She was never fat a day in her life. “Then it may not fit and it’ll all just go to waste… wouldn’t it be better to just… I don’t know.” Not spend that much money? “It seems… bad… to get something custom for me like this.”

"I was thinking we would get it sized a little larger to account for weight gain. And if no one else uses it is that so bad? It would have sentimental value."

“That… but…” how could did he not see how bad it was to spend money on her. “… are you sure? Non-expensive things can be sentimental, too…”

"Sure I'm sure!" He smiled. "You're my kiddo; I'm looking after you and getting you cool stuff."

Ky hesitated, randomly remembering a book she’d read with Aleth about love languages. He’d had her read it to become better at manipulation, of course. But. Well. It said some people showed love by giving gifts. Was that what this was? Would it make him feel good if she accepted something this expensive? Gods…
She hesitantly dipped her head. “…well… you really don’t have to… but… thank you. It’s very kind.”

"It's for you." He wrapped an arm around her as the horses were brought out. "That other armor is admittedly super cool but it isn't quite right for training."

“Yeah.” She nodded, wrapping her arm around him as well. “No point in beating it up just to practice.”

"Exactly." "Hello, you two!" Sera called as she and Rickard exited the Keep. "Ready to go?"

“Ready.” Ky nodded, smiling a little as she looked at them. “You?”
