Remus nodded and tried to hold back a laugh.

"We did!"

Meanwhile, Honesty gasped and ran over to Janus' door before Roman could catch him.

"Cousin!!!! It's been so long!!!"

Janus blinked in surprise.

"Wh-Wha... um.. hello...?"

"Hi Dee!!!"

Honesty hugged Deceit.

Huh... Deceit thought maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

"...Come inside, would you?"

Remus looked at Roman with an expression saying "what the heck, he wasn't actually supposed to like him-"

"Ok!!!"

He went inside and closed the door behind him.

"Soooo..."

Roman shared an equally confused look.

Deceit shut the door behind Honesty.

"How did you get here..?"

"The twins..."

Deceit sighed.

"Of course they would.."

Honesty tilted his head.

"Is that a bad thing...?"

Deceit looked him over for a moment.

"...Not necessarily... come, sit. We should talk for a bit."

Honesty smiled softly and sat down where Janus told him to.

The two of them just talked for a while. Deceit was genuinely enjoying himself. It was actually rather nice to have someone like Honesty around.

Honesty opened up quite quickly.

He eventually saw his cousin's gloves.

"Cousin, why do you wear those gloves?"

He completely lit up (literally and figuratively), beaming.

"Does that mean I can lie with them on???"
