Yep, one of the little things. I'll make sure that gets added tomorrow.

For everyone (and for me!), the below is my list for the next 24 hours. If you notice something missing, please just shout out:

- Edit works (incl. the text, title, rating, privacy, folders, etc.)
- Fix likes on literary topics (every like is showing up for every literary topic!)
- Add a work to bookmarks tool
- Show # of comments and likes in browse area
- Fix spoilers for older non-poetry works (note: spoilers are being deprecated)
- Show short description in browse area
- Show content ratings in browse area, and on main work page
- Enable privacy settings (currently there, but not enabled)
- Fix replying to comments
- Add to review count, add to points when submitting post
- 100 point cost to submit new work
- Review double-checker
- Add how many works are in a category & genre (ex. Poetry (55000))
- Don't show genres with 0 works
- Moderator settings (goes with edit works pretty much)
- Bring back missing forums (ex. art / photography)

Fortunately, none of the above is difficult. Just... so... tired...! Again, though, if you notice something missing, say something or forever hold your peace.

In the next 48 hours:
- Bring back notifications
- Profile commenting? (maybe next 72 hours)
- The front page

Hi Nate!

Just a quick query, but will the NaNo forums be moving over to the community side of the site? I ask as I'm not sure how they'd fit in with the new format of the lit. section. Thanks and seriously amazing work so far! Despite knowing what to expect I was still overwhelmed to see the new page, but everything looks fantastic.

The Search results don't seem to register the new layout. They take me back to the old forums.

Edit- And, if you accidentally zoom in (which I do all the time on my laptop) and zoom back out, the textbox itself does not zoom back in. So it's cut off when the screen is back to normal.

Please hold off on any gracious comments for now. What I really need at the moment is constructive criticism about the Browse area of the site.

One thing I've noticed is that some short stories aren't posting correctly. I'm going to take a look at that here very soon. When I tested it last night, it was working fine, but I did make some modifications later on without testing them on stories.

Rosey ->> On search, I'm going to go ahead and add dedicated search functionality to the Browse area. However, added the new browse area to the search box is a lot more difficult than I think most people believe.

With regards to zooming of text, that sounds just like a browser issue. I doubt there's anything I can do about that. I'll look into it though.

Ahhh it all looks so awesome! *is giddy*

I'm not noticing much outside of what has already been brought up, except for:
1. On the replies to a literary work, the space between each review seems awkwardly large (where the reply button is between review).
2. How are novels going to be grouped? There's the "related" area (but it's only showed up on one work I've seen?), but something where a reviewer will be able to navigate to other chapters of a novel would be lovely.
3. On the first page of "Browse" where all the categories are, there's a section for Poetry, a section for Prose, and a section for Short Story. It may just be me, but Prose seems to be an awkward category to have on it's own, considering both of these sections are already here. What specific type of work is meant by prose?
Got YWS?

Heh, you're the second person to bring up the 'Prose' category, Lauren!

As I told Snoink, who brought it with me previously, I have no clue whatsoever, lol. Some people insist that there is a difference between 'Prose' and 'Poetry' and 'Short Story,' but I've never been able to tell the difference.

So, I added it because I thought people would like to use it. However, I would not mind removing it. And seeing as how two people in roughly 12 hours have brought the issue up, it's probably best to remove it.

It is a browser issue. I checked the function on Firefox, and it worked just fine.

Spoiler! :
The problem browser:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/534.52.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.2 Safari/534.52.7

And glad to hear about the dedicated search. With how hard you worked on the main search function of the site, I am not surprised, lol

Hey! The Literary Works Area is done! Again!

Wew, most of the bugs are gone. That's good right? The Browse area still rocks. We had that before right? I think the viewing of posts are also fixed (yesterday from our today, I can't read some of the posts). And I am still absolutely in love with it!

Wondering about the Menu on the left. I like the content, but don't you think it's too simple? As in, when you look at it, it seems to be only a list and not much of tabs and links for new pages. How about giving them their rightful designs?

Also, is it really 'Browse'? In my opinion, it seems static. New members and guests can't easily notice that it's for browsing literary forums, browsing CAN mean a lot of things. How about the tab titles before, care to bring them back? I think it would do good ;)

Hey, this are just my critique on the whole new are, my opinion are different from your's and their's! ;)
Need some feed? Then read some! Take a look at today's Squills at In the News.

I'd agree on taking away the 'prose' category, or perhaps using it as a blanket category for novels and short stories? That's probably just adding excess clicking though so it would be better gone.

I'll put my gracious comments on the shelf for now, shall I?
