Heh, I think we all forgot, but Review Day starts in about seven hours from the date of this post! Lets set the goal at... 400 reviews, shall we? It's Memorial Day Weekend in the USA, which means a lot of BBQs and trips to the beach. Plus, there's not a lot of head's up.

Still, I look forward to seeing only negative hundreds of reviews to go.

So what is a Review Day? On the last Sunday of every month, YWS holds a reviewing day. This means:
  • No new literary works can be submitted (you can wait 24 hours!)
  • The Featured Works block on the front page is changed to a Last 5 Reviews block
  • You can earn up to 100 points per review instead of the normal 50

Usually this is where I list international times, but a countdown will go up on the front page very soon.

Yay! If I'm around, which I should be, I'll try to get seven reviews done and that'll bring me up to my next blue star. :)
Matt.

You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children.
