Coolness!!! I get a brand-new YWS radio show for my birthday!
Whoa, Nate sounds a lot like I thought he would, which is odd because usually I'm wrong about such things and I thusly usually get weirded out when I finally hear/see someone whose stuff I've read.
Erm, question: Nate says it starts at 4 o'clock EST, which confuses me because most of the USA is in daylight savings time right now. Missouri is, at least. So, are those times really in standard time-- in which case I would need to listen at 4 o'clock Ceneral Daylight Time-- or are they, in fact, in Daylight Savings time, and I should listen at three? Anyway, can't wait!
(Better to be brainwashed by Nate than by the Intergalactic Left-Wing Media. I think... )
I just have to say that I love how you got all nitpicky about someone using "like" as a metaphor.
I would totally call in but I don't think I would do very good at that. o.o I don't think I would actually say much. I also don't know where my microphone is. XD
Heh, I just picked up a brand new headset to do this with, and it's so good that's picking up every single noise I make! I tested it out and I could hear me typing away on the keyboard, shifting around in my chair, and even breathing! I gotta reduce the sensitivity of this thing before the program starts (1.5 hours away!).
Yay! We get to hear Nate swiveling in his chair! I can't wait, I'm gonna try and call in this time. Are there really gonna be any specific topics? (Someones probably already asked this before)

That's how we should measure our lives. Not in distance traveled, or time passed, or worlds conquered, but in moments... and the rush of joy—of grace—that exists within them. — Megatron (Lost Light, by Roberts, Lawrence, Lafuente)
