You just finished writing a new chapter. You have hordes of YWSers waiting to read it. It's late and you're tired but you know if you don't get that chapter posted, you're going to be in for it.

But just the idea of painfully spacing out those paragraphs, Enter/Return button after Enter/Return button, is making you groan. You just want to post the dang thing, right! But, you also don't want your readers to murder you for making it so challenging to read.

Never fear! MS Word for both PC and Mac has an easy solution:

1. Open "Replace."
2. Put ^p in the top box.
3. Put ^p^p in the bottom box
4. Click "Replace All"

And presto chango!, ctrl+A, ctrl+c, open YWS in your browser of choice, ctrl+p, submit. Happy readers, happy you...to change it back in Word just click Undo!

Have you thanked a teacher lately? You should. Their bladder control alone is legend.

That is just nifty. I had no idea Word could do that. :o

Alternatively, at the bottom of the new thread screen, there are spacing options. Selecting Story automatically spaces out the paragraphs for you.

I never knew I could do this! I spent at least a good hour formatting my book's paragraphs myself! Thank God for this! This tab is favourited!

With how the Story option is currently MIA, your valiant efforts are not in vain! :D

I'm thankful for this thread and for Rache, more importantly. Thanks, Rache! ^.^
It's not about the weight of what's spoken.
It's about being heard.

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
