Remix Poetry Workshop!


This workshop will happen (auto-adjusted to your timezone) and is expected to last around an hour and a half, though feel free to come when you can! It will be hosted in a WriterFeedPad, the link to which will be posted both in this thread and on the People's Tab the day of!

Brought to you by Plume and Liminality, the Remix Poetry Workshop gives you a chance to take an already-written poem (or poems!) and turn it into a completely new work of poetry. In the workshop, you'll learn about different poetic remix techniques, and then get to try them out (or even create your own method for remixing poems!) You can either bring poems you've written yourself or a different poem. There will also be poems ready for remixing in the pad, too!

Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
