I make monthly playlists and I thought it would be fun to have a thread on YWS about my current playlist (I make one for each month)! Yoo, I'm not a huge music fan but I'm striving to be one at some point. My music selection tends to be very... limited, just because it takes forever for me to wade into the pool of new stuff.

Iii tend to listen to a lot of Dessa and a lot of alternative stuff, lol. Uhh, I like rap music, but it tends to be rap that tells a very specific story. I'm not really into the stuff that brags about money and partying -- more so childhood stories and stuff like that.

I am a music geek I guess I love music.
My current playlist is a mix of old and new songs.
There is no top 10 or numbering I guess I love all of them equally.
Currently I have started listening to more of edm though I loved pop and jazz earlier.

I don't make playlists with mixtures of songs. I tend to just listen to albums at a time and then arrange all the albums from an artist/genre I like in a particular order in a playlist. I have over a thousand songs in my iTunes, so yeah...

So, right now, my go-to playlist (because this is what I'm currently obsessed with) is any of Blind Guardian's music! They're a German power/speed/symphonic metal band. Their lyrics are heavily influenced by fantasy and it's awesome.

So, I actually managed to increase my playlist a little bit? Which is, uh, a bit unheard of for me. I've actually been listening to Spotify lately, fine-tuning my recommendations.

Weird thing about me: I actually don't really listen to full albums? I can count on my hand how many full albums I've actually listened through, including musicals. I just, uh, tend to flounder around in the music options.

It looks like I'm just interested in indie/alternative stuff, which is fine by me. I also like stuff with a good heartbeat rhythm.
