Alrighty!

If you still want to solve this one on your own, steer clear of the spoilers!

How I did it...

Spoiler! :
So, the first clue was pretty obvious:

Image

Saruka also already had the second clue for me when I arrived:

Image

This was probably the most tediuous, since you had to find the lit work with the most likes in December 2010. So, I used spotlight.php and searched through all of December. Unfortunately, it was almost to the end of the month...

EDIT: Also I am dumb XD so don't go through the whole month like I did ^^

Image

Opening that link led to a comment with the next clue:

Image

And the first Featured Member was Firestarter! And what else but a link at his most recent message about a very important topic...

Image

Now, this one was a little hard to find since I was on mobile, but the title was different than when I remembered it:

Image

So, I went to Word Wars, then to Archived. Lo and behold, the next clue!

Image

Image

This person's name is legend by now, but of course the answer is freakforchrist

Image

This one was also a bit tedious, but I finally got it. Searching "YWS Gingerbread Office" (caps sensitive I believe) leads to the next clue:

Image

Now, I have to admit, this confuddled me for quite a long time. Eventually, I searched through Nate's post history to find a similar clue from a different scavenger hunt using the Word Cloud generator.

SO, going there I typed in "snow" and clicked submit:

Image

and Ta-Da! You have finished the challenge!

Thanks @Omnom! Just one quick note: it is possible to see the most liked works for any given month by choosing '0' for the day field in the Literary Spotlight. The text though that explains that is really tiny, and probably not visible on mobile!

Also, I bet a lot of people have forgotten about the small easter egg when you try to choose a date in the future!
