I honestly don't really think that this is a good idea. The reason why,is that I feel that it's waaay more personal if you post it on their personal wall. Just because I think that posting on a thread doesn't make it so special.Also,the birthday member can thank each person individually by replying to their post,and maybe adding something that's only unique to their friendship. Plus,on the bottom of the forums screen,you click on the birthday person's name and it leads you where . . .? to their wall. I also think that welcoming members personally on their wall,is much much more personal.
I honestly see no error in this current birthday-wishing system,and don't know why you made this thread.
