I'm probably doing better than my list says I am, since I didn't join up until August, so I probably forgot some of the books I read earlier in the year. Ah, well.

Finally managed to read a book which fits a category... Erika O'Rourke is the author but sneakily just using the O and R for name initials because I can find no accessible book that really does have them...

10 more books to go, three months DD:
Trust in God and all else follows.

I should really go edit my list... I have completed several of the challenges already, but just keep forgetting to add the books to the list... :P

Also, when they say initials, do they mean your full initials (in which case I am JFdT) or just your first name and surname (in which case I am JdT)
Former incarnations have been:
TheWanderingWizard
TheClockworkConjurer
TheIllusiveIntellect
TheSunderingSorceror
And, TheMaieuticMesmerist

Proudly [They/Them]

@TheClockworkConjurer : Consider it for both the cases and let me know if you ever find an author of your initials, I'd like to see how this goes. xD

*updates the list* Well, I think that's the end?(!) of the challenge for me. :'c The struggle of finding relevant books is real, people! I wish my area had a cooler library, or atleast rich me! I now know why people opt for buying books through internet and go all techie. But the feel of new/old books in hand, though ;-; Also, exams are here. Pre-adulting is hard, and you did not hear that from me first. xD

I wish I was fifty years old in a slightly raised house with wooden shelfs full of books that would update itself magically, and a balcony with the view of the gigantic snowy Himalayas. I'd just sit in an easy-chair with some hot chai and read away. Heh! I hereby declare of pushing this challenge and my believes to post-adulting. c':

@Dreamy you did wonderful! I can understand though, having a limited place to find books to read and especially ones that qualify as the list starts to narrow down. I just hope the challenge was fun for you and that you were able to read some good books <3

*wonders if a book that scared my younger self would count as 'a book that scares you'*

There's still a few that I'm struggling to tick off from the list, but I'm feeling like I'm getting there. Just did a little shuffling, which filled in a few books.

The below's just a note to self so I remember what I'm planning to read for what.

Spoiler! :
Julius Caesar - book you were supposed to read
Noah's Law - book you started but never finished
Burial Rites - based off a true story (??)
To Kill a Mockingbird - Pulitzer prize
Harry Potter - year you were born
if we wait until we're ready
we'll be waiting
for the rest of our lives

Two more months left! How is everyone doing?
I'm struggling to get the last few done. Any suggestions for a graphic novel?

I have six more left to do-
A book based on a true story: Man-eaters of Tsavo
A book with bad reviews: Lolita?
A book that made you cry:
A graphic novel:
A book that takes place in your hometown: I'm probably going to read something that takes place in my homeland God of Small Things
A banned book: Satanic Verses

I also replaced A book at the bottom of your to read list with A Legal thriller (being a law student and all) XD
If Novels are a bucket of imagination, Short story is a bucket of imagination made to fit a mug.

I'm planning to read Carrie by Stephan King for the "graphic novel" Also, I don't think there are many books on Chennai or even Tamil Nadu, which is crazy! Except of course, Two states which I have read already. -.- Since I've made sure to try new books by the authors I haven't read, it's pretty hard to say which one will make me cry. o.O

And Gods of small things! <3 oh that made me cry! :')

I don't know how big you are on the crying factor. It really depends on the purpose. The book that I chose for made me cry was one which made me cry because of the high suspense xD

But some sad books most people end up crying over are: The Fault in Our Stars, All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (being made into a movie too) and also The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
