I found this recently while browsing worldmapper.org for a school project. This map shows us where the most books are published and it's surprising where the UK stands...
Why do we think this is? I mean, there are more Americans on this site than any other nationality (although, it is one of the biggest too ).
"A man's face is his autobiography. A woman's face is her work of fiction." ~ Oscar Wilde
Actually, I think it isn't that surprising. I'm not sure how they're expanding the countries, either. Because they UK is really huge, but only slightly larger than the US and if you think of it, the UK and the US are right next to each other in a lot of things, so to be like that in book publishing isn't surprising.
But like I said, since there really isn't a scale..It's a little confusing.
