It used to be that sites were automatically added to the affiliation list as long as the submitter was a member of TYWC. However, then I found out that search engines penalize my site if I have links to sites with poor or no page rank. I won't go by page rank in determining affiliation, but I will go by content and design; that is, if the site has good content and is designed well, I'll add it.
