Welcome to The Last Man Standing: Round IV Seventeen Warriors set out to fare a journey that few could ever dream to dare. The darkness took them all, until two made their vow And left there treasures where you see them now; The Wool of the Prince, an artefact of ages and the words Between Worlds, engraved in our pages. Forty eight stood next and tried to weather, A quest that brought children and champions together All to fall to this perilous race- All, but one, who took their place Blurring the boundaries of what's seen and known; Muster Heroes, immortalised, in iron and stone. Many came next to follow their plight; Many who fell to the dying light. Till the sun cycled round, and the year would pass, They held their ground, and now alas, Their fate is unknown, for as I tell this tale They remain lost still, in the blizzard's gale. So come now, come now, you brave and true This road will be far from kind to you You'll need strength and courage to hold fast in your plight, And when darkness comes on that blackest night Remember those things that you loved and cherished - It is in absence of such that the strongest have perished. Those who still wish to partake in this game; Take up your quill and sign your name. ________________________________ The Task : Your quest begins at Castle Blankpage with all of your fellow contestants. Across the land are a series of Waypoints, and each one you must reach and report back to the king before it closes. Those who stumble or falter and find themselves wandering in the dying light when the Waypoint closes will be left behind to the beasts of the wilderness and eliminated. The task is simple: do not fail. Your challenge begins on Monday July 2nd . Fare thee well, dear wayfarers.
