England, in Buckinghamshire. I actually live in the Chiltern (or, at least, I did in my old house - I've since moved a little way - only about seven minutes drive away, but I'm not sure if it counts as being in the Chilterns).
Basically, if anyone here's ever visited the town of Aylesbury (not sure why you'd want to, but whatever), that's roughly where I live.
Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield. — Billy Collins
