AnnieBauthor, if you look at a particular movie in which John Wayne stars (forgot which one, might be El Dorado), John Wayne - Cole Thorton- is shot in the lower back, which caused him to suffer from temporary paralysis of his right hand.

I guess I'm curious to know more about hypothermia. I've done research on the symptoms of getting it but has anyone here actually had it? Some info seems to be conflicting and I'm curious to know more about the recovery process. What do people feel like after they've been warmed up and are there any effects that last a while? Thanks!
