    Happy birthday.

  • So, I was watching old home videos with my family, and there was one where my brother was opening presents on his 10th birthday and one of the gifts that he opened turned out to be Animorph puzzles, and WITHOUT REALIZING IT MY WHOLE FAMILY + MY SISTER'S FIANCE, WERE LIKE "Oh! Animorpher puzzles!"

    ANIMORPHER PUZZLES.

    MY WORK HERE IS DONE.

Wolfi OMG YESSS <33 I loooove that your whole family knows about this! <3
Is it just me, or does "animorpher" roll off the tongue so much better than "animorph"?

  • Overnight Dipping for V-Day starts at midnight tonight. It’s 10:24 and I’m already starting to feel tired. THIS IS NOT OK.

Wolfi I BELIEVE IN YOU <3

  • So, for those of you who don’t know, I work as a Chocolatier in a chocolate store, and Valentines Day is the biggest holiday of the year for us BY FAR.

Yeah, so... I found out that I’m doing overnight strawberry dipping again for V-Day this year, only instead of working 9PM-6AM like I did last year, I’ll be working 12AM-9AM. YAY.

And did I mention that this is two days in a row and that the last 1-2 hours of both shifts will be customer service hours because the store will be open early to allow for the start of the V-Day rush? Yep, that’s also a thing.

Sooo... Wish me luck and bring me coffeeee.

Wolfi Yiiiiikes. That is not good. And you have to be presentable in front of people at the end of both shifts... If my shipment of coffee doesn't arrive on time and if you need an emergency sugar rush, just chug the chocolate.

Lefty Haha, thanks Wolfie! Luckily, I found out that the store opening that early is more of silly company requirement than anything and that we shouldn’t really get many—if any customers. But it will definitely be interesting!

  • My sister officially announced her big news, so I get to share it, too! Her and her fiancée are expecting, which means in August, I’m going to be an aunt to a little niece or nephew! (I’m betting on nephew, btw). 🎉 Very exciting! The news is still sinking in, but I'm looking forward to meeting this little guy—y’all know I’m gonna be the cool aunt. 😎

    soundofmind omg!! congrats!!

  • I was tagged for the #psychicshuffle by @Wolfical forever ago, but better late than never, right? Right! Let's get to it, then.

    1. The title of your third novel: What if by Simple Plan. That actually sounds like a book title. I'm down with it.

    2. The title of your autobiography: Till I Fall Asleep by Jayme Dee. I'm always tired, so I guess that's fitting. lol

    3. How you would describe yourself: I Mean You by Hunter Hayes. Yes, I know it means me. That's the point. XD

    4. How you feel today: You Think You Know Somebody by Hunter Hayes. Hmm...is someone going to betray me today?

    5. The purpose of life: Young Blood by Hunter Hayes. Based on the song, I'm gonna go with adventure? Young love?

    6. Your biggest fear: Strings by Shawn Mendes. Well, there you have it. I'm terrified of strings, apparently.

    7. A song to describe your future love life: 21 by Hunter Hayes. They'll be 21? I'll meet them in 21 years? We'll be together for 21 years? Hmm...very criptic.

    8. Your career: Forever Now by Green Day. What I'm doing now I'll be doing forever? I like being a Chocolatier, but I'm not sure I like it that much. Unless it's talking about being a writer. In that case, carry on. :)

    9. The song played when you walk down the aisle: Walking The Wire by Imagine Dragons. Does this mean I'm going to tightrope walk down the aisle? Please no.

    10. A song played at your funeral: Wild Card by Hunter Hayes. Odd choice, but it is Hunter Hayes, so it could be worse.

    11. Your New Year's resolution: You Found Me by The Fray. Finding faith? Sure, why not.

I have like 250+ songs on my playlist, so why so much HH? lol

    All right, tag you're it: @Europa, @Carlito, & @Sonder.

The tag: Using whatever music library you have (iTunes, Spotify, etc.), shuffle your songs and use the titles of the first eleven songs that come up, in that exact order, to answer the following prompts, no matter how silly they sound.

    The code:
    Spoiler! :
    Code: Select all
    1. The title of your third novel:

    2. The title of your autobiography:

    3. How you would describe yourself:

    4. How you feel today:

    5. The purpose of life:

    6. Your biggest fear:

    7. A song to describe your future love life:

    8. Your career:

    9. The song played when you walk down the aisle:

    10. A song played at your funeral:

    11. Your New Year's resolution:

Wolfi Tightrope walking down the aisle paints a hilarious picture in my mind xD these are great!!

  • Can I take a mental health day and not go to the dentist or work and instead stay home and watch Teen Wolf and play Minecraft all day? No? I have to adult today? Ok cool.

  • At 88 years old, my grandma passed away yesterday morning. Growing up, my siblings and I visited her house every weekend. I will always remember spending time with her and my grandpa, playing cards (like a true Las Vegas kid), watching movies and ordering pizza. She'd always hang our drawings up on the wall, no matter how terrible they were, and was one of those grandmas who thought we had endless stomaches, always having far too many sweets for us to possibly eat in one day. Thanksgiving was always spent at her house, and we saw her and my grandpa every Christmas day. They came to every dance performance, every birthday...and after we moved out to Colorado, she would always be sure to call and wish me a happy birthday. I'd only seen her once since I moved out to Colorado, and that was a couple years ago, but I am sad to know that she's gone. I know it was her time, and now she can join my grandpa who passed a couple years ago, but she will be greatly missed. RIP Grandma Jean. 1930-2018.
