Well here is something that I would love to have answered about reviewing.

Is it OK too write something if you see something that another person saw about a book and they wrote a review for it and so do you is this good or bad.

But I dont mean like copy what the other person wrote and then look at the book and say o ya I saw that and write it down after them?.

My creative batteries really need recharging. I feel like I've forgotten how to write, out of ideas, bored, can't bring myself to review or even do very much apart from lurk on chat! This has been going on for quite a while.

So! How do I charge my batteries? I've tried changing the songs I listen to and taking walks but this is... long-term writer's block.

I have the same problem as Blues. It's kinda like apathy. Just can't bring myself to write anything, apart from SBs, but they aren't updated that often...

Keep 'em coming, guys!

Could I ask you weird questions?

As long as they have to do with writing.

When you write your first chapter and mid-way through, you think: Oh, I've a better idea for an opening! And you get through writing that 2nd idea when you realize your novel is going in a different direction and so you write yet another *better* opening to satisfy new ideas. Never-ending cycle, yo! ;-;

Sparky, I have a question that I would like you to answer, just to keep you fresh XD

So, (especially since people are gearing up for NaNoWriMo) I'm wondering on how you create long stories that flow well and represent your writing aproppriately. My longest story (Which I'm still writing on) Is about 15,000 words, and it has taken me about six months to get there.

To add to the fun, here comes the other side of that coin - the shortest thing I ever wrote (finished, that is) is about 25,000 words. I call it my short story. The longest.. I don't even want to go there.
But for the majority of the contests, for magazines and all kinds of events, what is asked for are short stories, sometimes with the limit under 1,000 words.

Do tell, how does one make the characters live, the readers feel the atmosphere and see the world from the words on the paper, with such restraints? s:
