So... I'm new here and not quite sure what to say. I've been writing and re-writing this introduction and it still dissatisfies me. I don't think I've ever been quite this much of a perfectionist.

To save me from killing myself over this thing, I have provided you a list of basic information about me.

Hi Lauren!

Yay! That's why we're here! But you forgot to tell us what you write - fiction, poetry, essays, everything? Fantasy, romance, realistic? And who are your favorite authors, and your favorite books?

x Chatspeak

This is also good, because one of the YWS rules is no chatspeak. I'm sure you'll love it here; it really is the place to get feedback on writing.

Also, I see you've done a review already, which is great. Keep a 2:1 ratio of reviews to works (do two reviews for every thing of your own you post) and you'll be good to go. :P The rest of the rules are here, if you haven't checked them out already. :)

PM me if you need anything - answers, help, a review, a chat, whatever.

*high fives* That's an awesome list! I love rainy days, too. They're so relaxing...

As Mars mentioned, there are some rules. (If you click that, it'll take you to the list :D) But she pretty much covered the basic ones.

Have you checked out the Knowledge Base? It's a neat little feature that gives you tips on anything from YWS, to writing, to grammer! Just run your mouse over "Resources" at the top of the screen, and click on Knowledge Base.

Also, check in with the YWS blog "Write Gooder" every so often for site updates.

Over and out!

Oh yea! You can PM me if you need anything :)

Hi Lauren! *shakes hand* I'm Kat, nice to meet you ^_^

Welcome to the YWS family! We're many, but there's always room for more :D

I hope you check the rules, as heart and Mars have given you the link. If you want to know more stuff about YWS, how we work around and such, check the The Help and Support Wiki (that's right: we have our own wiki :D)

x Mail
x Rain & Cool, Cloudy Days

I love receiving mail. Even thought it's rarer than cold rainy days here. I love cold rainy days. Rain rocks ^^
I also am a rock chick. What's your favorite band?

Dislikes:
x Humidity
x Going outside
x Mean people
x Chatspeak
x Waiting
x Braces

Humidity sucks. We get all sticky and stuff. Eck. Going outside is not bad. If it isn't a really hot sunny day.
Mean people should go die in sticks, bleeding to death.
I'm a really impatient person, so I also hate waiting.

Have a nice day! Feel free to PM me if you need anything!

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

I like to write pretty much anything, but I especially like fantasy. I don't have much of a favorite author. Or a favorite book. :?
