Hi everyone, I'm obviously new here. But from what I've seen this site is really cool, and I'm going to recommend it to all my friends who like to write. So I guess I'll see ya'll around. :D

Lol! I'm from Idaho. We don't say ya'll here as much as people down south do and people in Texas and stuff, but people still say it here. :D

:) I didn't know that Dreamgirl. I'm from Texas, but I never say ya'll. I say "you guys" or "you all". Isn't that weird? (my parents grew up on the east coast, though, so maybe not. :-k ) Do you all say "fixin'" up in Idaho? As in, "I'm fixin' to tie my shoe"?

I love your avatar. It's so pretty...

Welcome!

I say ya'll... Don't know why. But I mess everyone where I live up (Northern CA), because I say 'pop' and pronounce 'creek' as 'crick.' I guess I'm still a Montanan at heart.
Your existence is overbearing.

Welcome!
It won't be long before you realize just how great this forum is and, even more so, its people! It's nice to see a new face around here. And I'm sure you will love this place just as much as the rest of us in no time.

People say "ya'll" in Virginia, so I'm not surprised. "Pop" as in "Soda pop" or "coke"? We say "soda" where I live.

Beethoven, you reccomended this site to me from TYWC. I don't know if you remember, but... Thanks. I love your artwork, too.

lol no we don't say fixin.
See? Everyone up north thinks "ya'll" is the Texan word, but it's not; it's "fixin'". I picked it up as a five-year old before my parents beat it out of me.

Yeah. When I went to Australia a few years ago through P2P, I asked one of the people who was traveling with us where he got his pop. (He was from California) He looked at me and said "It's soh-duh" like I was an idiot or something. I'm from Michigan, BTW.
