It's a writing website - once you've written something, post it in the appropriate section of the "Literary" forums. A link is on the bar at the top of the page.

Once you've posted it, people will critique it and tell you what's good about it and what needs changing. Then, you redraft it based on their advice, should you choose to take it.

Ooh.. so you're in Dorset, eh? Not there anymore (haven't been for 18 years) but I was born there so.. I do sorta know the place. Grandparents are in Poole too.

What sort of stuff do you like writing? I can see you've already explored the literary forums somewhat since joining - I'll try and remember to look at some of your stuff. :)

Feel free to ask if you need anything.

'ello dahling! I'm the resident crazy bird here, feel free to call me Gyr! I'm also an automatic Brit fan, so any crits I give you will be biased :-) (hehe) Welcome, welcome, pm me if you need anything!

P.S. Don't let C.L.'s avatar creep you out, that's just her.

Lexy,

Welcome to the Young Writers Society. I think you will find many helpful and insightful people here to aid you in the creation and development of ideas. You can call me Brad, if you like. I am the resident evil-critiquer of poetry, so be aware (beware?) that I tend to be harsher on your works than others. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

All the best,
Brad

Sadly, they're all intelligent here, so I just slum around in the background :P
