Question... Please Help!

I really enjoy writing, and i am eager to share my work and see what others think, but i am afriad to because, i'm not sure i want to post it on the internet and get my ideas taken from me. I hope what i am saying is understandable. I don't want anyone to steal my stories and use them as their own.
Will I have this problem if I shre my stories on this website?

You are definitely taking the risk by posting your work on here, and it's definitely a common concern. You should definitely be safe, though. We've got a strict policy against plagiarism. But I don't really know that much about it, if you need more information you can ask a moderator (their names are in green).

But you shouldn't be afraid! Hope you enjoy YWS!

I've edited your title so that it's within the site rules. Please keep in mind that we like good grammar here and full caps hurt our eyes ^^

As for the question, well! You're right, there is a risk with posting your writing online. Other people can read it and think, 'Oh I like that!' However, it is unlikely that anyone will copy your work. There's an article on copyright if you're still worried.

Also, if you post your work here and you ever get plagiarized, just contact an admin (in this case, Nate) or a mod (their names are in green) and they will work with the administration of the people who publish your plagiarized poem to set things right.
