I just wanted to say hi Although I've been signed up for a while I haven't really used the site but have recently decided that I want to start writing again!

My name is Lydia and I'm a medical student. At the moment my degree is bogging me down so I thought some reading/writing might help.

But yeah, thought I'd say hello here. I'm excited to get started!

Yeah I certainly find reading really good at taking the stress off. I have written a few bits and bobs before but have never been good at sticking to it - hence I wanted to actually use the site as a sort of motivation to stick at projects.
I will read almost anything to be honest! I'm the type that will just hop on the kindle store and download something and give it a go.
