Time for an actual introduction

Okay, well, when I first joined I shamelessly plugged in one of my worst works. I was told to write an actual one, so here it goes.

My name is Strangelove, and I came here to just write short stories. (You might be shocked, "Strange wrote short stories?!" but yes, that was my intention.) I'm currently in an awkward state of Nevada, and about to start high school. I have a tendency to tell off people, and stand up for my rights, even though I don't have the privilege to do that.

I'm male, and my dream job is to be a stand up comedian (using actual humor), or a screenwriter. When I first joined here, I was DrStrangelove. I shortened it to Strange, but then I expanded!

Two fun facts
1: I am a huge movie and sports buff, though none of my teams ever win. *Single tear falls out of eye*
2. My favorite book is High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, even though I'm not that accepting of romantic literature. High Fidelity is near perfect though.

So yeah, I came here to write and meet new friends.

Third edition of your name now... yet I'll keep calling you Mandrake. What's up with that? O.o

I also like movies, but I wouldn't call myself a buff. I've never read that book. Perhaps I'll look into it.
