It's 2018 and something unusual is happening to our little planet. Within the past five or so years, the death toll has crept upwards for unexplained reasons. Of course though, the world's governments haven't decided to let the people of their countries know about this. The government aren't fans of sharing bad news, and they certainly aren't supporters of honesty. Whereas once the worry was overpopulation, it's quickly turning into a worry of a loss of population. It seems as though people are simply dropping dead. They could be out shopping one day and one second they're checking the price tag of a pair of jeans, but the next, they're collapsed onto the ground. Motionless. There's no explanation, or so it seems.

The underworld has had enough. Enough of the whiny humans that inhabit the surface of the earth because having to live underneath them and listen to all of their complaining is hell. So the devil has devised a plan, one of which he's determined will work. But first, he needs an army: one brimming with fresh members. Every now and then he'll pick an unsuspecting victim and put an end to their miserable little life, then drag their souls into the underworld. He'll steal the innocence, happiness, hope and anything else positive from their souls and drain them of whatever's left until all that remains is a shell. One more addition to his army, one more death for the human race.

You see, once he has his army, he knows there's no stopping him. He can break through the barriers the heavens built centuries ago to keep evil from entering earth and cause the havoc he's always dreamed of. He can break every last human until all the souls on earth belong to him. Every day he steals more and more souls, and as the months pass the amount that are stolen daily increases ever so slightly. The devil wouldn't want the humans to get too suspicious now, would he?

There is one hitch though: the heavens aren't so naive. They know exactly what the devil's plans are, and they will do anything to stop him, even of it means using the humans for help. While they try to strengthen the barriers they created centuries ago, they collect pure spirits from all over the world: guardian angels, or to us humans, the imaginary friends we once had as children. The only problem is that the humans needed are too old and so they can no longer acknowledge their guardian angels, not like they used to as children. They're too 'mature', too 'sensible' and 'realistic' to care about guardian angels and imaginary friends now.

With that in mind, the heavens have selected a certain few and forced the ability to acknowledge their guardian angels into them. A handful of humans living in London, England have been picked and the heavens have given them powers beyond their imaginations. With their new found powers combined with the knowledge, wisdom and power of their guardian angels, it is them and only them who can destroy the devil's plans. They must battle through evil powers, travel to the gateway of the underworld in Beijing, China, and put a stop to what the devil is doing. The only problem is that the heavens haven't exactly told these chosen humans about any of this yet. That's their guardian angels' job.

Important Information (More may be added if necessary)

-The storybook will start off with the humans going about their daily lives until their guardian angel appears. They explain everything to the humans, say they must go to Denvor, England to catch a ferry to France, and it's there they meet the other chosen humans and their guardian angels. From France, they'll have to make their way through Europe and Asia until they reach their destination.

- Every human is paired with a guardian angel. For it to be fair, I'll pick who's paired with who by pulling names out of a hat or something.

- Every human will be living in London when they meet their guardian angels, but that doesn't mean they have to be English. They can be an American but on vacation there, or an Australian who moved to London some years ago.

- The gateway to the underworld is located in a secret passageway where The Great Wall of China travels through Beijing.

- The devil's aware of the humans and their guardian angels so he's placed minions in key travel places like airports and hotels. Therefore, for their journey from London to China, the humans and guardian angels can't use aeroplanes, and have to avoid staying in hotels, and rely on public transport along with a lot of walking.

Appearance:
Personality: Alex was once a man with a heart of gold before his death. He still loves being around children, since it's their innocence that touch his heart. If someone bullies another person, Alex won't tolerate it one bit. His temper's one of the biggest weaknesses he has. Even in his living life, his temper often gets in the way of his judgement. Believe it or not, he misses being with his family- the family who lost him the day he died.
History: When he was alive, Alex was the eldest of three children. His parents were musicians by practice and he had to raise his younger siblings since he was five years old. He started violin practice at twelve when his father died from a heart attack. His mother, younger siblings, and he moved to London when he was eighteen. His mother remarried, but his stepfather hated Alex. He was on his way home when someone murdered him. Because it was dark and night time when he died, he doesn't know who killed him but knows his mother and younger siblings want justice for his death. He's been a guardian angel for quite some time, but watches over his mother and younger twin siblings during his spare time.

Other: He still plays the violin and has a full-sized violin with him that he carries at all times. In fact, the violin that he keeps once was his father's violin.

Name: Mildred Nadine Piazzi (Millie. Call her Mildred and die.)

Power: Millie has the power of illusion- sight only. She can make people see things that aren’t actually there, although with her lack of an attention span, it’s very hard for her to focus long enough to actually create the image of an object. It’s typically just a blur of color, but when she really, really focuses, she can create some extremely elaborate things.

Appearance: Millie has one particularly striking feature- her hair. It's dyed a number of outlandish colors- bright greens, reds, blues... her bangs are shaggy, usually pinned back or brushed off to the side, and she like to tie her hair back in a messy pony-tail when she actually feels motivated enough to do something with it. Her eyes are a fairly average blue color, though they do match the rainbow theme. She's short, and not pretty-thin, but unhealthy-thin. She's far from curvy, and tends to wear baggy shirts with skinny jeans as an attempt at hiding it.



Personality:


Calling Millie weird would be the understatement of the century. She says and does strange things, has the attention span of a.... well she just doens’t have one, and she has this explosive amount of energy that doesn’t seem to run out. Ever. She wears bright colors, and her hair mirrors her personality. She doesn’t really understand ‘personal space’ or ‘alone time’ and will talk and talk, invade that space and just be generally annoying without really meaning to. It’s like the most extreme case of ADHD you’ve ever seen. And it isn’t medicated-- severe allergies.

She’s got some obsessions that, if presented, will keep her distracted for at least a couple of hours. Music (usually) calms her down, and she has a stunning voice and an incredible gift with instruments. She plays a little bit of everything, but her favorites are the violin, piano, guitar and flute. Animals don’t to anything to contain her energy levels, although she’ll focus on them and not on the person who’s been punished with the task of being around her. She loves tea in all shapes and forms, although the calming teas- the ones that are supposed to get rid of energy- don’t seem to do much.

Her depression slumps are rare, but if one comes along, they’re bad. Her typically sweet-but-obnoxious self is gone, replaced by someone who jumps around from interest to interest and avoids people, and she has turned to self-abuse a couple of times. She usually comes out of them on her own and in her own time.

The last point that simply must be brushed is her focus levels. At first, they seem entirely nonexistant, and that's almost the truth. Almost, but not quite. It's extremely hard for her to focus, and it's extremely hard for someone to get her to focus, but once she is focused, she's so afraid of losing that drive and motivation that this task is all she thinks about until it's completed. It also motivates her to finish faster, due to the fact that certain distractions will get her at some point. And she really, really doesn't want them to. Ooooh, when Millie's focused on a task, she's like the Flash. Sorta.

History: Millie was born in a more than broken home. She's the youngest of eight children, most of which are scattered throughout the foster system. Her mother was a drug addict, and though she truly did love her children, she signed them over to the system when Millie was eight. She's been in and out of rehab and between boyfriends every since her children were given to foster care.

Her first few homes were good, sweet families with good intentions and nice kids, but when she turned fifteen, she was placed in a home that was... secretive. Her foster parents were both cruel, her foster father in other ways than her foster mother. Her foster brother was manipulative and put her through a lot of mental and emotional abuse to top it off, and she was too afraid of their threats to tell her social worker or her mother on visits. Her constant enery and short attention span only irritated the family, and ultimately it made her situation wors, until the day she snapped. She picked up the phone, Sean to the room that had been designated to her and called her worker.

Two days later, she was in an emergency home. She went through three in two weeks before they found a new permanent home for her. She was nearly sixteen at the time, and she's still with the same family one year later. Man and wife, Ella and Nick Johnsan, and their 17-year-old daughter, Kate had fostered three of her seven siblings prior to this, and had adopted her 19-year-old brother, Cory. She's lived with them ever since, and the adoption is almost complete.

Up For Love: If you can tolerate her for long enough periods of time to fall in love with her.

Other: Very allergic to the ADHD medications that she would otherwise be on.

Name: Oliver (Ollie) Applegate

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Power: Time manipulation. Ollie can manipulate time by slowing, reversing, or stopping it. When he's doing one of these though, only he is aware of it. When he's stopping time, for example, and then starts it back up again, only he is aware that it's stopped. He's also the only one who can move when time has stopped. If Ollie's touching someone while he's manipulating time though, that person is also aware that time has stopped, that it's been reversed e.t.c. The only catch is that when he keeps time still for too long, he becomes too weak and can pass out. When this happens, time will automatically start again, but Ollie will have collapsed.

Appearance: Ollie has light brown/dark blonde hair that's shaved at the back and sides, and so he sweeps all of his hair towards his face. His eyes are a deep shade of green which contrast with his pale skin. Ollie's lips naturally curve into a smile, so even when he's not really doing much, he looks like he's smiling. He's not the richest guy in the world, so he buys his clothes from charity shops/thrift stores. Because he's done it since he can remember though, he's become very skilled at finding some really nice clothes in those kind of stores. He cares a lot about the way he dresses.



Personality: Ollie is like a puppy on acid. He cannot keep still for a second, and so he's always fidgeting which can get annoying for some people. He's often quite unaware of what is going on around him and is usually in his own world. When someone's crying, for example, he doesn't really... well... notice. He'll just start bouncing around the place, licking rocks and shizz without realising that there's someone in distress right next to him. He loves nothing more than being around people, and due to something that happened in his past, he absolutely despises being alone. Sometimes being alone can lead to him having panic attacks.

Ollie isn't stupid as such... In fact, he's really quite smart academically... he just lacks common sense. He loves trying new things, and does things without thinking of the consequences. He always makes the wrong decision, mainly because he chooses to do the thing that sounds more fun to him. Often, what sounds fun to him is the most dangerous option. He's also quite conscious of his looks, so if he suspects that he looks bad, he gets all self-conscious and paranoid. Ollie's never been diagnosed with ADHD, but he quite blatantly has it.

History:

Because of Ollie's constant happiness, no one would ever guess it, but he's had a really rough upbringing. It's one he constantly lies about too. To begin with, the only reason Ollie actually exists is because of a failed abortion. His mother never wanted him and he hasn't heard his father mentioned once, let alone met him. Up until Ollie was six-years-old, his mother paid no real attention to him. She had plenty of money, but spent it all on herself, and the only money she spent on Ollie was to keep him alive and keep social workers off her case. She would often take any anger out on him, both verbally and physically because it didn't make her feel guilty in the slightest.

By the time Ollie was six-years-old, his mother had finally had enough and couldn't be bothered with him anymore. She literally dumped him in the middle of a forest, drove off, and never came back. Ollie was alone in the forest for three or so days--he can't really remember. He had no idea how to get out, and the whole experience terrified him, so that's where his fear of being alone comes from. He was eventually found by a man walking his dog, and was soon sent into care. He was thrown around different care homes, some better than others, but he finally found a family that was willing to foster him when he was thirteen-years-old.

Everything was going incredibly well until around the time the family were preparing to adopt Ollie because before it became official, he came out as bisexual. His foster family were very religious, and when Ollie told them about his sexuality a few months before his fifteenth birthday, they immediately cancelled the adoption. He was sent back to a children's home, but once he left at sixteen, he got into a relationship with a guy called Jay. Jay was abusive towards Ollie in the same way his mother was and he recently landed Ollie in hospital, which encouraged Ollie to finally break up with him. They've been split up for around four months, and Ollie is currently living in a flat on his own.

Up For Love: Sure, with a guy or a girl. He's quite the handful though...

Other: Ollie adores milk. Absolutely thrives off the stuff. He's always got a carton with him, and the longest he's gone without drinking any is around five hours.

Age: She died at the age of 12.

Species: Guardian Angel

Appearance: When she had died she had just started to go through puberty so she had some curves, but she was still stick thin. She is 5’5 and very tall and gangly. The day she died she was wearing a plain leather jacket, layered white tank tops, a plain silver purity ring, jeans, and a pair of black leather boots paired with knee high socks.

She loved shipping at antique stores and she would always find something interesting to buy. Her room was fall of random things some people would call junk but she had a reason for everything. She loved music and had stacks of disks. Loving reading she had plenty of books. A lot of her clothing was actually handmade because she loved to sew. But she organized everything.

She hates people who are cruel. She is very high in empathy to the point where a song, movie, or story can leave her in tears, though she has gotten better at controlling her emotions. She also doesn't care what people think of her for the most part and will stick to her opinions and beliefs. She is fairly good at arguing with people. Also, lets just say she isn't afraid to slap someone if they need it. She is good at putting things into words and at giving advice.

History: April's life was fairly uneventful. It was filled with the every day things that any kids child hood will be filled with. She went to school and talked to her mother. She spent her summers playing pretend and then it all started over again. Until she died. One day when she was out in the woods she lay down in a bed of flowers. A wasp stuck her leg and it started to swell because she was very allergic. What she didn't know was that she was sitting on tip of a wasp nest that had been made in the ground. Pretty soon she had too many stings to go without seeing a doctor, but she never made it to the hospital.

She lived with her mother in a small town house. Her mother worked at a nursing home and April often went with her mom to talk to the people there. They all loved her and she would be showered with love from them. But from her peers she got none of the same attention. In fact, when she was truly herself she was ridiculed for it. So, in turn she drew away from anywhere they would come near her. She went to school and got good enough grades, but she never actually put any effort in because her classmates made her so miserable. She soon found that her love of Jane Austen just didn't match up with the books her friends were reading. It was like that with every part of her life.

She did have one good friend though. His name was Luke and he was two years older than April, but he was slightly slow and found comfort in being friends with April.

Other: Also, she is obsessed with antique clothes and outfits that are pieced together from a million different places. She loves hats and had a collection of them when she was alive. She is addicted to coffee; she has always drunk it and she always will. She is always writing notes to herself on her arms with a purple marker.

Name: Calvin Alder

Age: 21

Gender Male

Species: Human

Power: Has this ability to access data through various types of 'waves'. He can look up things in his mind like he's surfing the internet at any time and place. He's like a walking WiFi-enabled human laptop who can stream your favorite movies through a holographic screen that can only be viewed by him. He can hack into government databases and use his data-wave powers to stream live video from traffic light cameras and such an such. When he uses this power though, it makes him look a little crazy because he stares out into the space and moves his fingers around like he's typing and moving things in mid-air due to the holographic scene he views.

Appearance: Calvin's a clean-cut fellow and enjoys soaking in his wonderful hygiene. He's got this wide Mohawk cut and is oddly fashionable in a geeky way with this button-up shirts and cashmere sweaters. Calvin has dark honey colored eyes and thick lashes that girls envy and has a flawless face, probably because he suffered his life's worth of acne during high school.



Personality: (Smart, friendly, strict, optimistic, driven to succeed, artist, diligent.)

Calvin's has a drive, a passion to strive and become the very best he can be and takes his mind to it's limits. Whether it be while studying or learning a new sport. He gives his 110%. He doesn't believe in wasting time and hates it when other obnoxious people get into his path of success and he also dislikes procrastinators and over-the-top pessimist. He thinks milquetoast people are a waste of space even though that certain emotion is subject to hypocritical beliefs.

He enjoys being organized and is usually an optimistic, business-orientated person. He likes listening to classical music, preferably piano, and is also an artist. Calvin likes to explain his most intricate feeling by using canvas, paints and vibrant colors but this talent is just a hobby. He's not a fan of metal rock and dislikes the color lime green for some ridiculous reason.

Calvin thinks it's funny that he wears Calvin Klein underwear and apparel. Although he might seem uptight and strict at times, he's a friendly human and likes to make jokes, however bad they are, and share smiles and laughs. But if you get on his negative side, he'll be quite mean to you. He also likes those with a philosophical mind in which he uses to define his living style and help him make difficult decisions.

History: Calvin grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was born in the States but moved to London to attend London Business School, LBS. His father's a heart surgeon and his mother's a gynecologist and his older brother David has just starting his fellowship and is aiming to be a heart surgeon like their father. However, Calvin doesn't want to go into the medical field and after years of persuasion, Calvin finally won his parents over with his decision to go into business.

During High School, Calvin had one girlfriend which he was head over heels for. This girl was beautiful in comparison to Calvin, who was an ugly ducking in his junior days. When she dumped him for the new exchange student, he was torn and the even left him with nothing but self-consciousness. When it comes to dating, females, and relationships, he believes he's unable to do it and has insecurities.

Name: Noah Jeans

Age: 14

Gender Male

Species:human

Power: (humans only) Mind-Controlling. He's able to force his way into people's mind and control their consciousnesses and common sense, in turn controls their decisions so he's able to control them and their actions.

Appearance: Gray eyes and blond hair with black highlights. Fingerless gloves and beltloop chains. Skinny jeans and his hair is always straight, but both his eyes are always visible. He's supposed to wear his glasses, but he rarely does.He wears converse sneakers or Reeboks, and his nose is pierced along with his eyebrow. Most of the time he's fidgeting, spasming slightly or twitching, never really still because of his Tourette Syndrome and ADHD.

Personality: Noah's main strength is that he's a good person with good intentions and a wide believer. He believes in aliens and is big on using his imagination. His flaw is that his beliefs are swayed easily, and he's successive to physical force and is known to be a bit suicidal sometimes. He has a hard time believing in himself. Even though he's big on imagination, he's really into science and showing his knowledge through fact. His main dislike is that everybody makes fun of the stories he makes with his imagination. He's never really been a social person because he was shunned due to his abnormalities, aka his Tourette Syndrome, which makes him fidget and twitch, and sometimes say random things and repeat himself which always outcasted him from the others.
History: Noah's father was a man of science while his mother is a writer. He feels unloved by his father because his father is always too involved in his work to pay attention to Noah and always call his stories "ludicrous", not to mention always seemed rather...disapproving of Noah due to Noah's having Tourette Syndrome and his wide imagination, because his father always wanted a perfect son with no abnormalities. His father would give him the occasional beating every now and then, to, "keep him in line" when really Noah does nothing wrong, and always did his best to try and make his father proud.
At a young age Noah started skipping school and eventually ran away to full fill his dreams of becoming a writer/artist/scientist. He now lives with his Uncle Charlie in Cornwall, London. His Uncle makes him attend a school for the gifted and wants to train him in the musical arts, and Noah rebels by finding a group of goth/scene/emo friends and focusing on his artwork.

Other: He always uses his lucky pen to draw and write because it's the first real gift his mother gave to him. He always carries it with him no matter what. That and he has an emerald ring like a junior's class ring, which his mother had crafted for him when Noah was ten years old.

Personality: Casi shows no emotion, the man is like a brick wall. It's not that he blocks it out-- it's that he doesn't exactly know how to. He's normally pretty hard to read, and it's said it's impossible to make him cry. He sounds like a cold, sarcastic person-- but when he says "No, I'm really excited. Really," in his monotone voice you better believe him.

There is nothing Casi hates more than seeing the people he loves hurt. He likes to give people the space they want, but if he knows they're going to do something stupid and/or reckless he will stop them. Even if it means flinging them over his shoulder and dragging them to somewhere he can sit them down and have a reasonable conversation with them. If you happen to be hurting someone he cares for then be prepared to have your face beaten in mercilessly. He feels no pity for people who think it's okay to hurt another person-- be it physically or emotionally.

Casi does have a soft spot for children and teens, and he has an almost natural fatherly nature. He's terrific with lectures and he knows when he needs to sit back and let people have their moments.

History: Casi doesn't remember anything about his human life, and that really doesn't bug him. He has a feeling he'd be discouraged by what he'd find out. In his human life he was your average Joe. He had a wife, two kids, and a dog. Every day he'd get up, go to work, shmooze the boss and go home to be with his family. He'd be happy, actually, to find out that's what his life was like. He thinks he was probably some work-at-home nerd who lived in his mother's basement and had arguments about 'Fluffers' getting out.

One night, while walking home from work (Because the big dope missed the bus) he decided to cut through an alley. He just wanted to get home after a long day at work, he never suspected the thug would jump out from behind some garbage bins and knock his head into the wall-- which killed him.

Name: David Stiles

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Power: David's a pyro. He can conjure up flames from thin air, set water to fire, etc.

Appearance: Short, dirty-blond hair; bold, blue eyes; roughly 6'0", 145lb. Despite his laid back exterior, David is quite clean-cut and smooth with his appearance. It evokes a certain suave essence that people find unique to his personality. He also smells amazing. :3

Personality: David is very easygoing. He tends to not hold his attention to any one thing for too long though. His mind is constantly wandering, yet he tends to hold in much of what he's thinking to himself. A bit soft spoken one might say. Perhaps this has much to do with why he's so into being on his own. David loves to see the world. He can take adventure in stride and therefore enjoys being on his own. Not many know how to keep up with someone whose "on button" is constantly on. He's good at befriending people, should someone give him the chance to show he's not a complete and utter loner in life. He dislikes crowded environments and heated situations. Should he be put in the position where he's tested to endure a tough situation, David may 9 times out of 10 be tempted to walk away from it.

History: David grew up in the swankier part of Northern California. His father owned and operated multiple car dealerships, in turn always making quite a comfortable living. His mother was a stay at home mom, and for the most part, David had always been content with his life at home. Until his parents were killed in the midst of an airshow fatality while on an outing with family, when David was nine. Many had been injured, but only David's parents along with a few other innocent bystanders were killed in the accident. The accident left him broken for a few years, but he eventually came to grips with what had happened, letting his parents go in peace. As well as letting go of his Christian beliefs. Any higher power that could take away his parents was no worthy God to him.

After the occurrence, his uncle --his father's brother-- took over the dealerships. Being the youngest of three siblings, he continued living with his cousin's family until he was old enough to inherit his own share of his parents money. Mara keeps her hair short, although it's not as short as it once was. It's auburn, but she has died it a few times with cheap die- the only kind of die they had when she was alive- and the natural color is a bit more debatable. Mara has pretty hazel eyes, far more green than brown. She has pale, flawless skin. (She's an angel- I don't think they have zits...) She has nice, pretty pink and large lips. She's not all that tall- maybe 5'5- but she can seem more tall and impossing if she wants to. Style is a huge issue for this girl- she hates skinny jeans, but jeans themselves she loves. Mara loves anything that's ladylike- but enough to be considered a rebel. She loves those big, fake 20's pearls. Any big jewlery- that includes scarves with doo-dads- she loves to adorn outfits with. (I really hope Angels can shop...cause this one does!)


Personality: She's fearless Mara Finch, who wasn't afraid of a thing back 'in her day.' Sure, she might be a bit reckless, but really- who doesn't like a little lawless fun? Mara can be impulsive- on many more subjects than just what kind of cocktail she should drink. She can't overly think things through, even if she wanted to- she'd get a major headache. So, she avoids it. That's who she is- she loves to have a little fun, ven if it might not be the heathiest. Mara is outgoing and cheery- it takes quiet alot to get this bright flame to simmer down. She's rather friendly and if she's in the mood, she can make friends in a flash. Mara loves a good laugh, and has an incredible sense of humour. She's very assertive, but not threatening in any fashion. She makes her point heard in a understandable fashion. The thing is, part of her has been taught to hold her tongue- it's one of the skills taught to by her parents than she actually retained. She can hold things in her for far to long, and end up blowing up later. Mara can be a bit indignant when it comes to insults or being judged- she usually doesn't mean it seriously. Just don't tell her what to do- she hates it, and it'll cause her to go a bit recklessly, crazily stupid. (Unless your a big Angel- she kinda has to listen to them.) Her anger skills are at a minimum- she perfers fun and peace far over that- just don't make her hold it in to long. Really, you can compare Mara to a brightly colored flame- it has it's impatient flickers, but it's fanned by fun and brightness.

Mara is also incredibly, crazily loyal. Kinda like a dog, in many aspects. She loves her friends, and family, to tiny pieces. You don't really know how deep her love goes, until she suprises you with some big act. She's far more an act over speak person. She can be a very kind and loving person, but isn't very good at comforting people. She's a passionate person when she loves them- in any form of love. She's also a huge sweetheart- this is the most angelic part of her. This is the part of her that goes around hugging people, the part that is a protective big sister. This is the part that's the guardian angel. Will add spoiler if you want me to. The following are strengths/weaknesses and likes/dislikes.

The part of her that's the big sisterly sweetheart, is her strongest point- seriously. I'm sure trying new things and fearlessness could be strengths, but they drag down some weaknesses with them. She's fun and bright, not to mention resourceful. Her fashion sense could be a strength. Her passionate, protectiveness will come with her guarded person, and will certainly help them. Not too angry (well, most of the time.) Loyal. On her weaker side, her slightly indignant self. Her old self, the part of her that can't take being ordered around, the part of her that holds the anger in. She is crazily partial to the taste of cocktails and beer, although I'm sure angel's can't get drunk, she'll sure try. She might be, at points, be more for fun than saving the world.

Mara loves clothes, and asscersories of any kind. She loves any alchololic drink. She loves being a guardian angel, her friends and any distant family she might've had. She loves music, reckless behavior. She loves to laugh, to smile. She frickin' loves chocolate! She hates Monsters and caffenitated drinks of such, being told what to do, having her weaknesses pointed out to her, and not being able to do anything.

History: Born Maragret Ann Finch to a pair of rich parents. They were overprotective, ready to groom their first daughter to the perfect image of a lady- according to the old ways. Psh. Like Mara was going to let that happen. By the time she was thirteen she had her hair shorn short and was going bars with her older neighbor. Yeah, you guessed it. She was a flapper. She had a great time doing it. Her parents didn't figure out what she did at night until she was sixeteen. They tried to prevent her behavior, even going up as far as locking her in her room. Now listen, Mara really didn't have anything aganist her parents. She did love them, but at that time- she was mad. Her flapper friends helped her from her room every night, and her parents didn't notice- or at least, she pretended not to. This was around the time she decided 'Maragret' was far to old-fashioned and decided 'Mara' sounded much better. She never really fully trusted, or particualarly cared for, her parents again.

One day, when Mara was walking home from a party in the sleek pouring rain, she saw the faint lights of a car coming her way. The special thing about this was this- her sister, two years younger than herself, didn't. Mara didn't know why she was out in the rain, but she had a sickening suspicion she was out looking for her older sister. Enter tragic death scene in slow-motion. Mara doesn't remember much else besides a car rushing at her sister, the driver likely drunk, and the adreneline rushing through her veins. She must've dodged in front of the car- that's certainly what happened, as the events that happened next showed- and pushed her sister out of the way. The car hit her in a burst of pain- and she was dead.

Mara immediatly knew she wanted to be a guardian angel the minute she got to heaven- trouble was, she wanted to be assigned to her sister. The figureheads up above weren't about to let that happened, but they promised her her sister's first child. So, four years later, Mara got to watch over her sister's daughter- well, her whole family. When her sister's daughter died two decades or so ago- thankfully after living a nice long life like her mother- Mara was assigned to one of you lovely humans.

Personality: She is a fun loving girl who always has something interesting to say. She is always striving to be a better all around person and she is willing to take chances and make fun of herself.

Her flaws are that she isn't necessarily book smart; she isn't dumb she is just average, she has slightly crude language a lot of the time, if she doesn't want to do it she won't and is very stubborn, she doesn't like to read directions or follow rules. Her strengths are that she takes the initiative, she is compassionate, she is likable, she is down to earth, practical, and she is one of those people that people just want to please and obey.

She likes Motley Crue, ACDC, Bruce Springsteen and other such music. She also likes a cold margarita, swimming, talking to people, sewing, cleaning and shopping. She dislikes having no one to talk to, having to sit all day, people who think they are better than her, people who always think they're right and winter.

History: She was a middle class person who lived in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. She worked at a beautician. She was died in her sleep from carbon monoxide poisoning.
