Thought I'd add some drammaaaaaaa!

Opal

"Okay, ummm..." Casey thought, looking around the circle we were all seated in now that P.J had taken a seat beside me, "Opal, you haven't kissed anyone!"

I felt a blush creep up on to my cheeks, suddenly very thankful that my olive complexion would hide it. Kissing people here was different for me than it was for everyone else. They had all grown up together, shared affectionate childhood kisses and the such. I got here late, so the only person I had kissed was my girl friends and Lakeland! It wasn't like it was for everyone else. For me...it was a real kiss.

"Kiss..." a spark lit in her eyes and she said, "Kiss Tyler!"

My cheeks were on fire as my blush deepened, and I knew no complexion could hide the burning red that was on my face now.

"I don't-" I started, only to be cut off by everyone's protests.

"Come on Opal!" Casey urged, "Everyone else did it!"

I moved my gaze over to Tyler who sat two spots away from me. Rather than stand up, I moved to my knees and shuffled past P.J and over to Tyler. Biting down on my bottom lip, I looked over to Casey silently asking Are you sure about this? She nodded, and when I turned back to look at Tyler he gave me an encouraging smile.

Leaning in to let my hair curtain my face on one side, I brought my own face closer to Tyler's and stopped an inch away. Giving him one last look, I saw him looking down at me, I could feel his breathe against mine. Before I could close the distance, Tyler ducked his head and did it himself, making the contact between our lips. Shock greeted me at our contact, and I placed my hand on the side of his face, kissing him back.

"Hey!" Michelle declared, breaking our kiss apart to look at them, "No way, he kissed her first, she didn't kiss him!"

A blush crept back to my face, and from the corner of my eye I saw the same in Tyler's.

"Fine, a new dare then!" Casey exclaimed, "Kiss...my brother!"

Pushing away from Tyler, I hesitantly made my way over to Christian before lowering myself back to my knees.

"Are you sure I have to do it again?" I asked, becoming nervous just as I did before.

"Yes." Some of them chorused, though I could see Lakeland staring hard at his bottle of beer.

Turning back to Christian, I hoped my cheeks weren't as red as they felt. Leaning towards his ear, I whispered softly, "Don't kiss me first this time."

Pulling back, I looked in to his eyes for only a moment before leaning in, placing a hand on his chest to steady myself, and closed the entire distance myself before greeting his lips with my own. His hand snaked up to my neck as his lips began moving against mine, pulling me a little closer. I broke away, out of both need to breathe and embarrassment that we had a large audience like this.

Looking at the ground, feeling a warm blush still lingering in my cheeks, I pranced back to my spot and took a seat.

Lakeland

"Lakeland," Opal said with a silly grin, right after her double dares. Back home it wasn't uncommon for us to drink, we just didn't have a taste for American beer. So, I sat with my own bottle dangling from the tips of my fingers, Opal looking at me with her goofy grin and opened beer beside her, and she dared, "Kiss...Liz!"

I steeled a blush and looked down the the ground for a moment before sneaking a glance over at her, seeing her cheeks wearing a a bright pink color. Setting my bottle on the ground, I hefted myself up from my spot and made my way across the circle to Liz.

Crouching down in front of her, I admired her for a brief moment. Her eyes were on the ground, so I reached out a hand and placed it beneath her chin, nudging her to look up at me. Her large eyes sparkled, and I gave her a smile before leaning towards her and placing a gentle kiss on her lips. She responded immediately, moving her mouth with mine for a few blissful, and then we pulled apart. American beer tasted a lot better on her than it did from the bottle.

I made my way back to my seat, taking a few sips of my beer while the others took their turns. We had never gone this far with each other before, and I think it was shocking for us all.

While I took another swig from the bottle, Hayden finished her second kiss with Ira. This time, however, was on the mouth rather than the cheek.

"Lakeland, kiss...Katrina!" Hayden declared, looking quite proud of herself which I found a tad confusing.

Taking another drink before setting the bottle down, I swallowed the brown liquid and ran a hand through my hair, glancing over at Katrina who didn't seem to know quite where to look. I stole a quick look at Liz before making my way over to Katrina, crouching down in front of her so we were face to face.

She looked up at me, and for a moment I just looked at her back, examining her face. She was only 16. Sure, Liz was 17, but that's an entire year closer in age to me.

I didn't want to keep her waiting though, didn't want her to think something was wrong. There wasn't anything wrong, I just...I felt like I was taking advantage of her.

Leaning towards her, I gauged her reaction as I grew closer, going slowly on purpose so if at any moment she displayed a sign of not wanting this I could pull away. I was 18, a legal adult, and I wasn't going to make her do anything she didn't want to. Finally, I ran out of distance to wait and decided she must have no objections. Closing my eyes, I closed the rest of the gap between us quickly and kissed her.

Her immediate response shocked me, and when she reached a hand to my face she began kissing me, kissing me in a way I hadn't been kissed since I was seventeen and Lotta Carmichael kissed me. The kiss was eager, filled with anticipation. But Lotta had had a crush on me for seven years, and her kiss had come from a game of...truth or dare.

When I came to the realization, my eyes snapped open and I pulled back to put distance between us. Putting a hand to my mouth, I couldn't help my wide eyed expression as I looked at her in shock. Katrina liked me. I looked at her for another moment before standing and heading to take a seat beside Liz, wiping off my mouth before settling down in the spot. Katrina liked me!?

Ira

"That kiss wasn't just for the dare." She had said, and I couldn't stop thinking about it! So much time had passed since then, and I couldn't get it out of my head. Since then countless of the others had kissed, including the two of us! The second time had been on the mouth, and from the moment we made contact I had felt a spark. I couldn't get those words out of my head!

I had yet to kiss any other girl, so when my name was called my head snapped up.

"Ira, kiss...Verine!" Katrina declared, not quite looking at me since our secret kiss earlier.

I had never really looked at Verine, not in that way anyways. So when our names were called we exchanged a glance.

I thought about saying something for a moment, but knew my stutter would be out of control and we'd be out here all night waiting for me to finish a sentence.

Verine was sitting right beside me, so I simply turned to face her. Taking a deep breathe to calm myself, I towards her and gave her what I'd been dared to: I gave her a kiss.

Excuse my double post, but I had a really good idea xD Plus, I want to bring in Michelle. @kat13254 just let me know if you want me to change it

Lakeland

"Michelle," Verine said, shocking us all. She hadn't gotten a dare since P.J brought out the beer. She was only twelve! I think we all suddenly felt bad, as we had forgotten about her.

"Michelle, do a...back hand spring!" Verine declared.

"No fair!" Michelle whined, "Why don't I get a dare like everyone else?"

Every guy in the circle suddenly froze, exchanging glances with each other. Michelle wanted to...?

"Michelle, I don't think-" Verine objected for us, only to be cut off with:

"That's not fair you guys!" from Michelle.

"Okay," Verine said slowly, "Michelle, you can choose anyone to kiss you."

That was smart of Verine, because I'm sure any one of us would have killed her for choosing us.

I looked down at my beer, hoping and praying she wouldn't-

"Lakeland." Michelle said after a moment's thought.

I felt my jaw physically drop and my face pale when I heard my name. Me!? I suddenly cursed myself for every nice thing I had done for her, those things probably adding up to me being her choice.

Setting down my drink I said, "Guys, maybe we should stop."

"Why does everyone treat me like a baby, I'm not a little kid!" Michelle raged.

"Just do it and get it over with, Lakeland." Opal muttered beside me.

I turned to look at her, giving her a look that stated I clearly thought she was insane. And I had worried about Katrina's age! Michelle was twelve, I was eighteen!

"Just give her a little peck, like you do me." She whispered.

Had Michelle even had her first kiss yet!? Oh god, I was going to pass out. Lola's head snapped up at my sudden anxiety, and she gave me a piercing look that obviously read calm down, Lakeland.

Okay, calm down Lakeland, you don't need to have an episode. Calm down, just give her a quick little kiss like you do with Opal or with mom. Yeah, that's it.

Swallowing, I slowly stood up and hesitantly made my way over to Michelle in dead silence. I was going to go to prison.

Crouching down in front of her, I didn't even take a second to look at her, knowing I would just stress myself out more. Lola began barking, so to get it over with I quickly leaned towards her, gave her a little peck on the lips, and stood back up to sit down.

The moment I sat down Lola got up and ran over towards me, laying down beside my leg with her head in my lap.

I looked about the circle, as it was now my turn to dare someone.

"Liz, kiss..." I said hesitantly, thinking for a moment before saying, "Kiss me."

There were a few gasps around our group, as this was the first time someone had done this. This was the first time someone practically admitted they liked the other like that.

This was horrible. I mean I was making myself sick watching him kiss other girls. First Katrina and then my sister! I look down at the ground and sigh. This was just not my day. I really thought he was starting to like me. I have liked Lakeland so long and I thought he was going to like me back.

Well I guess we see how that turned out. He does not care about me the way I thought he did. Gosh, I sound like one of those annoying teenagers. I was about to leave. I would say I was tired, not feeling to great and then leave. I would go lay in my room and play my guitar until I felt better.

I was on the verge of getting up and leaving when I heard my name. I knew that it was Lakeland, so I turned to look at him. "Liz, kiss..." He began and then he made eye contact with me. "Kiss me." He said and my eyes grew wide.

There were gasps coming from all directions, including from me. "What?" I ask, worrying I was not hearing him correctly.

The corners of his mouth turned up into a smile. "I want you to kiss me." He says.

I could feel my cheeks turning pink again. I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his neck. He leans down and kisses me. This kiss was different from the one before. It was sweeter and a little more forceful. I felt the butterflies in my stomach and smiled into the kiss.

"G-get a r-room." Ira says and a few people laugh.

We pull away and he looks me in the eyes. We both smile and sit down. Maybe the day was not so bad after all. Nope, it was great. Lakeland takes me hand and pulls me closer to him. I almost forgot it was my turn to dare, but I was reminded when I saw everyone looking at me. "Sorry. Ira, truth or dare?" I asks.

He smirks. "D-dare. Y-You n-never g-give b-bad ones." He says.

I roll my eyes. "I dare you to sing part of a song to the girl you like." I say.

So he lied huh...? Next thing I knew, I was sitting with everyone, playing truth or dare. I never really liked truth or dare. Never been my interest. I suddenly started to blush when I see everyone kissing each other. W-Whaa?!

"Ira, kiss Verine!" Katrina yelled out as I started to blush even more. Ira looked straight at me, and next thing I knew, his lips were on mine. My eyes widened as I pulled away gently, hiding my face. "U-Um.."

"Michelle," I said, looking straight at her. "Michelle, do a...back hand spring!"

"No fair!" Michelle whined. "Why don't I get a dare like everyone else?"

"Michelle, I don't think-" I honestly thought her kissing others is a bad idea, since she's only twelve.

"That's not fair you guys!" Michelle pouted. "Okay, Michelle, you can choose anyone to kiss you." Michelle smiled as she called out his name. "Lakeland." Gah! That guy?
Lakeland gave Michelle a peck on the lips then went back to his seat.

"...." I slowly got up and turned around, heading back to the summer house. I really don't want to be here... I touched my lips gently, tears swelling up in my eyes. "I didn't want my first kiss to be gone..." I said to myself softly, walking to my room.

I sat on the bed, reading one of my books I brought from home. "I am fine by myself." I kept reading my book, wishing that I could just go home. I feel like I don't belong in that group. The only reason I know them is because the rest of my siblings knew them. I shook my head at the thought, placing my book down on my bed. "Well, no one isn't coming... so I guess that aren't worried about me too much." I laid back on my bed, looking up at the ceiling.

I turned my head to the window, seeing the stars shine. "Ah!" I got up quickly, running to the window to stare up at the stars. "They're so pretty..." I smiled to myself. I always loved stars, ever since I was just a child. Before studying and worrying about my grades, I stay up to look at the stars every night. I smiled to myself more, looking up at the stars as they shone brightly up in the night sky. "The stars are really pretty tonight." I giggled to myself, heading back to my bed.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. "Hm?"

"Wh-what's w-wrong with Ve-Verine?" I asked, a mixture of genuine caring and not wanting to complete my dare.

Katrina bit down on her lip, as if debating whether to tell or not.

"Ka-Katrina?" I asked.

She looked over at me, twisting her hands in her lap, and admitted reluctantly, "That was her first."

That was her first...kiss? That was Verine's first kiss and I stole it!? I felt myself pale and then sprung up, racing inside. I was a horrible, no good person. I hadn't even asked! God, I was so dumb!

Bounding up the stairs, I headed for her door. I had to make this right. Knocking softly, I waited until I heard her reply until I walked in.

I walked in slowly, and upon seeing me Verine turned her head away.

"V-verine....I-I....I didn't kn-know..." I stuttered, my voice barely a whisper.

She looked over at me in surprise, but turned back to the window and said, "You couldn't have known."

I walked silently over to her, standing at the window with her and looking at the stars with her for a moment before making a decision and saying, "I kn-know w-we don't l-like each other li-like th-that, b-but,"

I turned to face her, looking at her for a moment with a soft smile. I liked Hayden, but I took something from Verine she couldn't get back and I needed to fix it. If Hayden didn't understand that, then I don't know if she was right for me. So, standing in front of the stars I know she loves, I placed a soft hand on her cheek and moved her gaze from the stars to me and leaned in carefully, watching for objections, and placed a soft kiss on her lips, trying to be gentle and sweet unlike the time of my first kiss, which was sloppy.

Pulling away, I watched her open her eyes and said, "Tha-that should h-have been yo-your f-first kiss."

"You can come in." I yelled out to the person on the other side of the door. As the door open, Ira came inside, looking miserable. I quickly turned my head away, blushing from the thought of us kissing earlier.

"V-verine....I-I....I didn't kn-know..." Ira walked up to me as I looked at him for an instant then looked out the window. "You couldn't have known. So it's okay."

"I kn-know w-we don't l-like each other li-like th-that, b-but..." Ira walked up beside me, turning my head towards him by putting one of his hands on my cheek. Ira placed his lips onto mine, kissing me gently and sweetly. I blushed intensely as he kissed me. Ira pulled away from me, smiling down at me. "Tha-that should h-have been yo-your f-first kiss."

"A-Ah... y-you dummy!" He pushed Ira out of my room, blushing even more. "Y-You didn't have to do that... d-dummy!" I closed the door hard, turning away from the door. I placed my hand on my lips again, looking down on the floor. "..."

I didn't want my first kiss to go to him though... I kept looking at the floor, gripping my chest gently. I walked over to the window again until I stopped in the middle of the room, noticing something poking out in the closet. I walked to the closet, seeing a guitar. "Ah." I grabbed the guitar, examining it closely. "I remember this... I used to play it. Wonder if I still remember how to." I plucked the strings slowly, letting out a soft tune. I used to sing too... What happened to all those memories?

I stopped playing as I heard another knock on my door. "Again?"

Those guys shouldn't be worried over something like this.

As the night went on, I kept finding myself thinking about everything I had eaten today, which I know I shouldn't have but it had become a habit and as everyone knows habits are hard to break. The marshmallow I had earlier taunted me and I knew if I kept thinking about it I'd find myself back over the toilet again and I wasn't going to let that happen. So, I tipped back my beer and drank, smiling as the poison settled in my gut. Slowly, my thoughts disappeared and everything turned funny. I leaned my head on Hayden's shoulder and slurred, "I'll be right back." I kissed her cheek then sloppily made my way into the house. I tripped over a step as I went upstairs looking for the bathroom and cursed loudly. When I got upstairs I couldn't tell which room was mine. They all looked the same. I giggled at nothing and headed towards the door to my left.

"Hellllloooooo?" I opened the door and stumbled into the room. Why was someone on my bed? Who was that? "Verine?" I walked closer then my feet got tangled and I fell. "Shit." I laughed.

"Casey?" She peered over the side of her bed.

"Why are you in my room?" I mumbled then clumsily stood back up. I found my way to my bed and tried to lay down but books were sprawled out everywhere. "Why the hell are these here?" I picked one up by the corner and flicked it across the room.

I've had many kisses tonight, including a kiss from Lakeland. When his lips had touched mine I felt an instant spark, I don't know why but it wasn't like butterflies. A few seconds later he pulled back, and I didn't do a thing to stop him. One kiss can make a person realize things and I think he had come to realization that I liked him. Oh freaking well. I thought to myself.

As soon as Ira left to go talk to Verine I left too. I was tired of being here already. Everyone has changed since last Summer or maybe it was me? Who ever really knows. I sigh and take one last beer before going in. "Night everyone." I say and close the door.

Up in my room I sit on my bed. Looking around at everything. "I don't want to be here." I mutter to myself as a tear strolls down my eye. I hear the front door open and I just continue staring.

Make things right, for Lakeland. kept going in and out of my mind. Maybe I was more drunk than I thought. I stumbled out of my room to go outside where everyone was. I went over to lakeland and whispered, "come to the living room with me please." He looked at me for a moment before looking at Liz. "I'll be back in a sec." He told her.

She nodded and he got up and walked with me. When we got to the couch all of the truth came out. "I...I love you Lakeland, I have, well since last summer but ehh who cares I don't want you enough to ever ruin yours and Liz's relationship. Plus I know how you feel about ages. Goodnight." I got up and kissed his cheek. Leaving him alone.

Back in my room I felt right. So I went to bed.

Tonight was awesome! Kissing Lakeland was my way of not telling him that Katrina likes him. It wasn't actually my first kiss though, It was on my tenth birthday. The only person I ever told was Liz. This night is almost over though. Everyone is leaving. Katrina, Verine, and Ira left. Every one else is going in too. Well not now, soon though. Finally everyone is treating me like how old I am, 12. It looks like I'm the only one not tired. Everyone else is drinking.

"Hey! Everyone! I'm going for a swim!" I'm still wearing my bathing suit from earlier so I just go and sit in the water. When I get in there I shiver.

"Brrrrr, gosh this is cold." Why does it have to be so cold. I still here everyone laughing and yelling. I know there all drinking, but it doesn't mean they have to be idiots.

"Idiots." When I say that I realize there's someone behind me.

"Oh, um, I didn't mean that." It was Lakeland.

"It's fine. Just I wanted to ask you about earlier.

"Oh umm that. The reason I wanted to kiss you was because of earlier. You know when I yelled something and ran away. I was gonna say that Katrina likes you and the reason I wanted to kiss you was because I wanted to annoy her. If you want to know why I want to ask my sister. You two seem close."

"Mm, let's go back the water will give you frost bite soon." He helps me up. We walk back talking around the way.

"It wasn't my first kiss. Mine was on my 10th birthday." He looks at me shocked. It wasn't that bad.

"Really?"

"Yep. Hi guys!" I run up. This conversation is getting boring to me. It looks some some others have left and there still playing truth or dare. I sit down ready to not be chosen again. That's the real reason I went to the water in thee first place. Now I'm all cold though and everyone probably noticed. I'm shivering. Liz passes me a blanket. I start to fall asleep.

"Michelle!" Well I have another dare.

P.J.

I like Casey. That my first thought after we finished our kiss. I knew we were both drunk, but that was the only clear thing coming to my head. I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot.

I found my seat next to Tyler and Christian and watched as more and more drama piled on top of each other. Half of the group had left either to make out or to explain, Hayden had really messed up this time.

Case had gone inside and Hayden had officially stopped the game because it had gone down in complete shit since everyone left. I picked up the empty beer cans and threw them out and then cleaned up the grill. Hayden grabbed my arm pulling me inside with her.

"So you like Casey?" She squealed a huge smile spreading across her face.

I shrugged and pulled away from her grip as she laughed like the manic she was. I ran up the stairs and caught sight of Case yelling at her sister a slur visible in her voice.

I walked into the room to see Verine scurrying out. Casey was laying on her bed a groan escaping her mouth. I knocked on the door frame taking a sip of my beer. Case sat up and then smiled once she realized it was me.

"Hey," She said as I sat down next to her on the bed.

I smiled at her before asking, "Is it ok if I could kiss you, I mean with out the dare?"

She nodded and I took her face in my hands and pulled her onto my lap. I kissed her softly dragging my hand up her back and into her hair. Casey's hands wondered underneath the back of my shirt as I moved my mouth onto her cheek kissing her softly. I moved back to her lips just as I heard Hayden start to clap from the doorway.

"Good job big bro," She said with Ira's arm hanging off her shoulder.

I smiled at her taking notice of the pink lipstick stain on Ira's neck and cheek. I gave Casey on last peck before picking her off my lap on laying her on the bed.

"Night beautiful," I whispered before leaving the room.

Peej has a crush on my best friend.

As soon as he scurried off, Ira had came out of Verine's room breathing heavily out. I smiled at him as he skipped down the stairs and then stopped right before he got to me.

"H-hey," He said smiling.

"Want your real kiss now?" I asked walking towards him.

I reached up as he nodded and wrapped my hand around his neck. I stood on my toes and placed a soft peck on his lips. We moved our lips together causing an eruption in my gut exploding a million emotions through my body. I smiled into the kiss and planted a kiss onto his neck lightly biting the skin as I did. I kissed his cheek one last time before moving away.

Ira's face was bright red and I was sure my face was too. I smiled at him as he bent down and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"You're amazing," I said as he slung his arm across my shoulder.

I lead him up to my room to find P.J. and Casey making out. I also gagged as her hands ran up his back. I had to make this horror stop.

"Good job big bro," I said receiving a laugh from Ira.

Peej glared at me before kissing Case goodnight and strutting out of the room. I rolled my eyes and turned to Ira.

"S-see you t-tomorrow," He said cupping my face in his hands.

I nodded and gave him a hug. I twirled into my room as Ira shut the door and me and Casey were alone.

"I can't believe you like P.J.," I said flinging my self onto the bed, "he is actually a piece of shit."

Casey laughed and sat up smiling like an idiot. "He is actually really sweet."

"Try knowing him for all of your life." I replied.

"I bet those 23 minutes without you on the planet were heaven from him." Case said smirking.

I threw a pillow at her which she dodged and then threw back at me. I got hit in the face but I was laughing too hard to care.

"Well I'm gonna sleep," I said yawning.

I grabbed my running shorts and sweat shirt and changed into them in the bathroom. Case had already crawled into bed by the time I had taken off my makeup and exited the bathroom.

"Good night blondie," I called to her jumping under the covers.

"Good night short stop." She replied switching off the light.
How the hell are we suppose to look forward to the future if we aren't sure if we will be alive in the next 20 seconds?

Lakeland

It was getting pretty late, and most everyone had gone off to bed. I however, sat in the living room watching TV with Liz sleeping nestled into my side and Lola sleeping on the floor right on top of my feet while I waited for our moms to come back. I was in the middle of a Friends rerun when the headlights of a car lit up in the window and seconds later I heard the slamming of care doors and their laughter.

I watched the door as they pushed it open, shushing each other. They had obviously been drinking. They started up the stairs to go to bed, but my mom stopped and came over to Liz and I, telling the others that she'd be right up.

She made her way over to the couch and sat beside me and asked, using the nickname she took to after my dad and uncle's accident, "What are you watching, Rory?" She began watching the TV for a moment before adding, "Your dad used to love this show."

"I know," I said, not looking away from her.

She turned to face me, giving me a soft smile before noticing Liz.

"When did this happen, Ror?" She said, smiling, "Dani is going to flip out."

Blushing, I shook my head and turned back to the TV, "It's not a big deal, mom. It's not like I've asked her to be my girlfriend or anything, we just ki-"

"You kissed Liz!?" My mother cheered, cutting off my sentence.

"Shhhh!" I urged.

"Me and Dani knew this would happen! Remember? We always said it when you two were kids! "Peering over at her, mom asked, "Is she asleep?"

Looking down at her to check, I shrugged and replied, "I think so, she's been like this for fifteen minutes."

"Does she, you know" my mom whispered lowly, leaning close to me, "Does she know about yo-"

"No," I said quickly, cutting her off, "She doesn't know about that or the surgery."

My mom took a breath and looked down at Liz for a moment, thinking before saying, "You're going to have to tell everyone eventually, Lakeland. What are you going to do if something happens and neither me or Opal are here? They won't know what's happening!"

Looking down to Liz again, I looked back at my mom and whispered, "That won't happen, that's what Lola is for."

My mom looked down to a sleeping Lola, then whispered, "Well how long are you going to be able to hide your scar? It's on the middle of you ch-"

"It's not a big deal, I'll tell them soon! First about that and later I'll tell them the real reason behind Lola."

"You share a room, Rory! What are you going to do, never change your shirt?" She questioned.

Rolling my eyes, I answered, "I share a room with Tyler, mom. If anyone knows not to talk about someone else's scars it's him."

My mom looked at me for a moment as if she wanted to say something else, but instead she shook her head and stood up.

"Just do it soon, okay? The longer you wait the more they may get upset about you hiding it from them." She added as a final note before climbing up the stairs.

I was on the verge of sleep. I was in that weird state were you don't know what is going on. I heard about our moms knowing we were going to like each other. Then they started talking about scars and Lola. I woke up when I heard feet pounding up the stairs. "Lakeland." I say, still in sleep. "What's going on?" I ask.

He kisses my forehead and lays down, taking me with him. "Nothing, go back to sleep."

"But, Lola has a scar." I say, drunkenly.

"No, she is fine. Go to sleep Liz." He whispers.

I lay my head on his chest and nod. "Okay."

He laughs and my weird state of mind and we both fall asleep.

The next morning my mom wakes me up. "Hey cutie." She says.

"Hey, mom." I say. "Why did you wake me up?" I ask.

"A little bird told me about you and Lakeland." She says, smiling.

"His mom, I know." I say, closing my eyes again.

"Well, has he asked you to be his girlfriend yet?"

"Mom, I want to go back to sleep." I laugh into Lakeland's chest.

She smiles and brushes the hair out of my face. "I will talk to you about this later." She says.

I roll my eyes and smile. When she walks away, I kiss Lakeland on the cheek. He walks up and smiles. "Morning, beautiful."

I laugh and try to get off of him, only to be pulled back down by him. "What were you talking about last night?" I ask.

The next morning I woke up with a massive head ache and starving. Walking to the kitchen, I stumble but catch myself on someone. "I'm sorry." I mutter to whoever it was as I continued walking. "Goodmorning sweety." I hear mother say. "My god mom you dont have to yell." I say.

She looked at me with those how rude looks, but I honestly didn't care right now. Next came Verine. "Good morning family." She said with a huge smile on her face. "Get laid or something?" I asked in a hateful attitude. "Uhh no. Not all of us in this family thinks about sex!" She yelled and walked out with a piece of toast.

"Uh thank you very much I am still a virgin!!!" I yell to her with disgust. "Uck." I mutter and walk out the other way until I noticed one of the guys was standing there. I blushed and ran out immediately feeling like a little kid again.

"You sure are loud." I hear coming from the side. I turn only to see it was P.J. I smile for the first time today. "Oh hush, dont act like your so perfect. Everyone knows your not a virgin." I laugh. I mean he was my brother so I had rights to be mean to him.

He chuckled but didnt say a word. "So I'm right? You're not a virgin?" I ask. "Maybe maybe not. I can't talk virginity with my sister." He replied.

We talked a little more but I never got an absolute answer. "I'll let you go see your little girlfriend Casey!" I tell him before walking off. "One more thing." I say again. "Yes?"

"Do you think this place has cell reception?"
"Of course."
"Okay good! Bye." I say and officially walk off.

When I get inside, I rush to my room to look in my bag in a secret place to get my cell. I needed to talk to my other friends from school. At least in private because my mom would kill me if she knew I brung my cell to talk to Keith, only because she didn't approve.

Me: Hey Keith! I miss you!

Keith: Oh hey beautiful, I miss you too! How is it there?

Me: ugh. I dont even want to talk about it... I just wish you were here.

"Katrina! You in there?" Someone knocked. "Yep." I reply. The door opened and it was Michelle.

Keith: Okay ill be there tomorrow!

My eyes brightened and I couldnt even reply. Stashing my phone in my pocket I tried to act casual. No one was to know I had a friend coming. Michelle had been saying stuff but I was completely oblivious.

After Casey and P.J left the room, I looked on the floor, seeing my book everywhere. I sighed softly as I picked up all my books, placing them under the bed. "Guess I'll sleep..." I laid in the bed, closing my eyes gently, falling into a deep sleep.

The next morning.

I opened my eyes softly, seeing the sun beaming into my eyes. I groaned softly as I sat up in the bed, rubbing my forehead softly. I got up from the bed, taking off my clothes to put on fresh ones. "Dang it, mom..." I pulled out a frilly blue dress from my bag, staring at it closely. "I guess..." I put the dress on, heading out of my room, noticing that it was silent in the house.

"Guess everyone is outside already."

I headed outside, seeing everyone enjoying themselves, including the new couples. I walked out where the lake was, sitting down on the sand away from everyone. "Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves." I looked out at the lake, staring at it closely, thinking to myself. Am I just a nuisance here? I have always been invisible to them. Or is it because we are grown up now? Hmm...

I lowered my head down, the wind blowing against me. Okay, getting depressed. Let's think funny... hmm... this morning was funny. I teased Katrina about her virginity. I laughed to myself when I asked her about it.

I sat on the sand for hours, just staring at the lake. I frowned to myself, tears swelling up in my eyes. I wiped my eyes slowly, trying to get a grip of myself. Don't cry! Don't you dare cry!
