Okay, so I'm attempting to learn the ins and outs of RPG Maker Ace. Problem is, I'm terrible at coming up with plots. Can someone give me a plot for a very simple game?

Well, I personally like to Ad lib when I DM.
Possibly because my friends like to mess around a lot. -_-

A simple game can just be created by giving your characters a quest then they do it and then they recieve a reward.
It does not have to be have that much detail really. If you do want it to be more detailed, then make a very simple base first then build it up.

Let us say, They find a village, the villagers ask them to get rid of the goblins, they go to the goblin lair, kill all of them, go back to town and claim a reward of a pig.

You can build it up from there like,

The players have found themselves in the farming town of Rougemont. As they enter, the Town Cheif goes near them and asks if they can get rid of the plaquing Goblins,... Etc. etc.
(If only that worked in my D&D session. My friends almost killed the entire town -_-)

When in doubt, use cliches.
Like but not limited to:
-Saving a damsel in distress
-Finding a lost artifact
-Defeating a Big Bad guy
-Escorting an important person
-Protecting an important person
-Save the place from a disaster
-Relieve the place from the result of a disaster
-Gathering a bunch of stuff
-People trying to kill the players
-Locating a missing person
-Infiltrate an enemy base

Hope this helps :D
