You mean... people don't *actually* write with sweat, blood and tears?

This makes a little more sense now...

FTW KEYBOARD SHALL LIVE FOREVER.

Though I jot down points of my story with pencil ~

This just isn't fair. I mean, of course I write my novel on a keyboard.
But all my novel edits and comments and notes are in pen.
And then of course there are the poetry scraps that I write in pencil.
And letters to friends in crayons and markers.
And homework with chalk.
And the typewriter I got for Christmas.

But the quill is by far the most amazing.

I use a needlepoint pen. Ink is so final - it feels like it gives my writing importance. (I use keyboard mainly for my poetry, due to easy access to the backspace key and no annoying little eraser shreds left over from using it.)

I actually write in marker a lot. Fat Crayola markers. The color gets all over my hands and I look artsy afterwards. Usually in teal or red.

...Honestly, I write with what ever writing utensil works and is the closest to where I currently am. If my writing is good enough, I type it out and save it on the computer.

I voted keyboard... But my favorite way is to write with my trusty fountain pens on some simple lined paper. I hate having to come back and type the whole thing up afterward though so I often just type things nowadays. I wish there was some sort of software that would recognize handwriting and convert it into text! I would pay quite a lot for it!

Mostly I use a keyboard because I can type as fast as I can talk. But I use a quill and ink when I write in my journal/diary thingy. It's a funny thing, really, because I'm technically writing letters to myself so I would kinda call it a diary...

I've started rambling again.

Millions of miles from home
In the darkness before the dawn
In the swirling of this storm
When I'm rolling with the thunder
But bleed from thorns
Leave a light, a light on.
