and those fidgety boots that you let go.

Welcome, you rascal, to my lemonade stand;
a stand that stands under the hot summer light.
Except that we don't sell bitterness here;
we only sell happy, hyper, beautiful things!

We sell balloon and we sell kites,
we sell smiles but never frowns!
We sell mugs with hot chocolate,
and we can't forget the yummy cake.

I'll tell you the biggest secret of this stand!
You don't pay these things with dimes...
You cannot buy things here with cash...
You don't have to pay at all, in fact.

You can have balloons, you can fly kites.
Smiles are always free, but avoid frowns!
You can drink our delicious hot chocolate,
and you can eat yummy cupcakes.

But doing all that is always best,
when you do it with all your friends.
Keeping the peace and being nice,
and playing under the hot summer light.

Like melting concrete in your lungs,
it can rapidly slay a fertile soul...
to waste your life on a despised song...
