Thanks for your explanation, though I must apologize for not being clear, it seems.

I asked how the magic system works, not what kind of races are present. Do they follow a Magic A is Magic A system, ritualistic magic, incantations, how do they actually cast the spells? Those who have claimed magicians might be interested in knowing. I may be being really thick here and missed the subtle, hidden meaning you've given, or I may be right in assuming you missed the point of my question entirely :3

Hey Lou, are we still on for the whole twin thing? It was kind of your idea and I don't wanna get my hopes up....

Your question is how they cast spells? the system by which magic is cast? yes?

Well the answer to that is totally up to those magic users. there is no set rule of magic "type" one might use spells, one might use potions, one might use mystical motions- it' differs with each caster.

Does this answer your question?

I like the mystical motions part, but I'll try to use a little bit of everything to give a spell variety. Like Fire, I could have it like after Avatar: The Last Airbender for fire magic. Or Ritual Spells, like during one of the episodes from Teen Titans Raven's Arch. But like I said, I'll try for a little bit of everything.

Spells are like using many tools to create a weapon, which is then used. The use of magic can take the form of spells, or just spontaneous "castings" which include making things move, or shooting blasts of pure magical force. This is the difference between using a wrench to tighten a screw on a tank that then you use to kill someone (using a spell) or just beating someone with the wrench (spontaneous casting).

Anybody with questions about magic, consult me. I spend way to much time playing DnD not to know this stuff.

Okay this is getting confusing so please listen up and I will say this bluntly
TO THE MAGIC USERS

It is your magic user- do what you want with how they use their magic.

If after this lengthy discussion on magic there are still questions to it regarding the sb please PM me.

LH- using a little bit of everything is fine

I am alive, I swear! I'm just on my grandparent's farm with slow internet. Will be until tomorrow sometime.

As for other things. I'm getting there.
