If you give them names, I'll be more hesitant to kill them. however, it will make it more fun for when I do, because then there's all the people that knew him to deal with.

Okay so I have two ideas for how to introduce my character into the story. The ideas are that he either goes and talks to Yamani, or he finds Haigha in the woods or something and talks to him or lets him into his house/cave or something. In other words, I have no ideas, but if he can go see Haigha that would be cool. Where is he exactly? Alvarinnnnn

Haigha is supposed to be wandering towards an industrial area near the harbor, where he will meet Brae. Haigha could meet up with your character before that ('cause I intend to make him stop by the rich district as well). How do you want them to interact? Haigha would be kind of ruined at the moment, since the love of his life just dumped him.
