Wonderland Rift 2 DT

Guys, I have a few things to put out there, and bear with me, because I'm not the only one sharing these feelings.

So, on the long term plotting, please either make sure to include minor characters in it or don't do it at all. Also, just remember that there are minor characters who haven't even posted yet. Please slow down on your plotting for them to catch up or they won't be able to even post, and from what I've seen, it's not getting any better.

On that please don't plot for a third SB. We've barely begun this one, and I don't want you all hoarding the major characters.

I really don't like saying this, but it's been so much of a problem lately that I feel like I need to point it out to cause concern.

I have two minor characters, and I had to shove them into the story in order to even post.

So slow down, and make sure to include all, or at least some of them. This is a real concern, whether you think it is or not. From what I'm seeing, the long term plotting is revolving around six characters (The Kings/Queens and their spouses). This SB is huge, with more characters than most. I don't want this to end up with most falling to the shadows of these six.

Please realize that I already love this SB, but at the rate that this is going, I have a feeling that my characters will not be in it for very much longer, because they will be squeezed out.

Please, please take note of this.

Ommy, and everyone for that matter, you know I hate plotting. I hate it with a passion. I don't mind planning how two characters will interact, oh no, but figuring out how the whole SB will go without even starting it? That just ain't fair to those participating in my mind, brocefs.

So let's say it together now! Down with the plots! Up with the... um, not plots. Yeah that.

I'm doing more than like, I'm damn agreeing I'm totally lost cause three people keep posting more than I can keep up with, you guys ain't slowing for nothing. Alvarin, you tell us when we make our profiles to make our characters memorable. I don't get a lot of time on a computer, I have very limited acess right now, and whenever I do have acess, I have to spend all the time reading though huge posts from people who haven't even stopped to consider others. Either you guys slow down, or your going to start losing members of this SB left and right until it's just you three left, Veeren, Aria, Alvarin, I'm looking at you three.

Hey guys. Can I join this SB fo real? I mean, as long as I'm already getting an unavoidable 70 plus notifications per day I might as well, right?

I was thinking of making a character that is based off the Hookah Smoking Caterpiller, but he seems like he would be more of a sage than a soldier, but I can really make anything work.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Any characters that this thing is lacking?

(And Jerano will make more appearences.)

(And LH, I feel ya man. I think the trick is to just accept that you won't be able to keep up entirely and just try to get the gist of what's happening.)

I was under the impression that Ommy's concern was about minor characters not being used, being pushed aside if you will. Being able to keep up is something completely different.

One can't simply stop posting just to suit another's schedule. For all we know, if we don't post today, we might not get a chance tommorow. A freak storm could hit and our internet could go out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Alright.. I know I pulled Alv and Shady and Veer and everyone into the scary black hole of plotting, so I figured it's mine to offer some sort of explanation as well.

I was told I'm crazy, and I said I'm crazy - I like plotting SBs. It's interesting and people come up with different ideas, yet if a certain storyline exists, we all know we won't get lost and make a wrong move. I've seen SBs dying because of too many people not being able to figure what to do because there was no plot points thought of. Sometimes, granted, it's not at all necessary (and not even I am always like this, just take my novels as example, but nvm that now), but I really really wanted this SB to be as great as the first one was, and I know Alv and company that actually participated in the first one, share that opinion.

That said, don't take the plans of the WR3 so close to the heart - it started as a joke, due to so many characters having kids. Heck, I think it'd be freaking great to have another sequel - I'm already sad enough I joined YWS too late to be a part of the first one, so I guess I'm compensating or something, but still.
However, it's not a plan, nor should anyone think in a "never mind what happens now, there's a sequel anyway" way.

This SB is not about just the Kings/Queens and their spouses, but it's a fight for the throne. It's reasonable to assume that the characters actually fighting for it will be in the center of attention. Also just thought of mentioning, and despite of how often I post in here, Regina does almost nothing before I discuss it with Veer / Reggy discusses it with Lordie, nor does Brae do much without talking to Alv/Miranda.

The charm of this SB, just as of the first one (which I can talk about because I was pretty much stalking it for months), is the fact that *anyone* can become one of the most important characters. I mean, Lordie got to be the King. No one says that, at the end of this SB, there couldn't be a new Queen or King from a most unexpected place. But I think it needs to be logical - as in, no one can just suddenly turn powerful (except by marrying someone powerful, say), and each character should be respected (so, say, Blair could betray them all, kill Lewis and Alice and plot to take the throne - but that means Brae must not touch her for ages, so he can't tell of her plans, Miranda must be somewhere away so the kids would be left unprotected, and so on and so forth - which could all work, but not without discussing it and plotting it. Don't freak, LH, it was a random example).

Frankly, I'd be sad to start over with no plotting at all. Not because I couldn't adapt, but because the story we thought of so far is really good. As in, it'd really make me sad to just give up on it all.
I'm not saying we must have details - au contraire, if everything is plotted to details, it's not so fun to write anymore. All I'm saying is to have some major plot points thought of. Right now, it's about having Yamani tortured and Regina messing with her thoughts later. Yamani and Haigha separating, Haigha and Brae meeting, and so on. It's all written many times already and I'm just saying, even if we delete it all and decide to start from where we are with no planning what so ever, I'll still try to get some of those things happen. Not because I thought of them, because we all did together, but because they're freaking awesome.

..I think that's pretty much all I can think of saying right now. Also Reggy's post is already one of the longest I ever wrote, and I barely started with the main event.

Out of everything I read, no where in it did I see Luna's name :/

Well hardly can something be plotted for your character if it isn't you plotting it..

It's yours to add Luna's name in all of that. Mine was to put Brae's and Reggy's (and will be Rook's as well), and you can-- well, must put Luna's name in wherever you see fitting.

No prob. I am open for suggestions, seeing as I dont have that great of an attention span and never read read the whole Alice book(s).

I guess I'll just peruse through some character lists.

And dont forget to suggest a role for my character to play if you are in need. Im all ears.

Aria, Veeren, Alvarin, I'm putting this out there, it's not a threat, nor is it a promise. I can change everything entirely, and I know how to do it, I can assure everyone in the SB suffers. I will make it so a major plot point happens and Blair goes up as this SB's Anti-Heroine.
