I believe that the Darks wouldn't be particularly happy if heard the truth about how they became what they are right away. They would start to question themselves and probably get too interested in Karzai too soon in the story, and that's certainly not what the Service is looking forward to.
There may be a different reason to why they weren't really mentioned, though.

I actually just forgot about the Darks, but I like Aria's idea better. I think it'll create more conflict because when the Darks find out they've been lied to then they'll freak out and it'll be awesome. Yeah, lets keep the Darks in the dark about where their powers come from.

I just posted. Sorry it's so short. If I'd tried to fit part of the speech in I would've put the entire speech in.

Ok sorry, I wanted a big post so I decided to put the entire speech into my post simply because I had no idea what else to put in.

it be interesting... hmmm I just had an idea, eventually the dark Fundamentals are going to learn of there origin of birth. It would be interesting if two of the three Darks betrayed the group at Fire or Earth Continent to go off and help Kazari. The reason I say two of three is because of one line that Haylee would say that sums up the whole reason for staying with the group. if this senerio were to occur.

"He abandoned my mother when she needed him, when I needed him, so why should I help him? to me, that's my revenge against him, abandoning the father who abandoned me and my mom before I was even born!"

Like I said it's possible senerio for Echo and Michael to betray the group after they decide on with the knowledge of there origin of birth.

I must have missed something. Does it actually say the origin of the dark fundamental? And on another note: maybe one of them could decide and they get into a fight about it, Loyal?

The woman from the Service didn't tell our characters where the Darks come from, but we know it from the description of the SB - their powers come from Karzai's rage. The fact why it wasn't told to the Fundamentals is what said in my post above and Reise then confirmed ^^

LH, you're not the only one who thought of that. The Darks have the evil trait and I have plans for Echo on that matter as well.. I haven't yet thought about them in much details, so I'm not going to present them to you now, but I have discussed the general idea with Reise already.

I'm not setting Michael's fate in stone just yet. I don't even know what I want him to be. >.>
