I just realized I really should have explained this before I made the first post...oh well. Anyway, we're starting before either ship has found someone who can lead them to the Marie Celeste. The Syren is heading for San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Llorona could be heading there as well, if we want to have an early run-in, or it could be stopping elsewhere.

Janika, since you're the Navigator, you'd know about the tides, the way the shore looks, where it's the best to dock and all that (plus the, well, navigating via stars and stuff).. I suggest you to ask Red about what is our destination to look like, and then perhaps your character could do some research on it, observe the map and so on - the Captain would probably be doing the same, but still ^^
Same goes for our Navigator. Also, are we planning on the ships and the crews meeting or..?

I think that if both ships are headed for San Juan, the crews should definitely encounter each other, and there should be some general mayhem that ensues.
