The Silver Bullet Club

What is the Silver Bullet Club?

The Silver Bullet Club is a group of kids with 'paranormal disorders'. They share the struggles they face keeping their disorders secret, and keeping their friends and family out of danger... that is, as long as their families aren't the danger.

The club is based at Willowcreek High, under the guise that they are a study group. Willowcreek is a small town in Georgia, mostly just overgrown woods and a town square. The town square has some neat shops, one of which has become a threat.

The members have noticed that they are being tailed. Some of them have even gone missing. All of this seems to coincide with the grand opening of a paranormal investigator's office in town. It seems that they are the most likely threat.

Profiles.

Name: Cedar
Age: 17
Disorder: Shapeshifter, mostly bears but he can shift into other things
How did they get their 'disorder'? Doesn't really know, he was hiking through the woods one day, then everything goes black and he woke up the next day covered in blood.
In the club?: Just moved to town, so not in the club yet. But he'll join up.
Looks: Cedar
Personality: He's a country boy that just moved to town after his attack because his parents are freaked out someone is after him. He is a tough go getter who loves to goof off and do crazy dangerous things. He's really sweet, and very protective of his friends and loves that he can shift into anything, well almost anything, he wants to. But he normally only shifts to a bear, it's the most natural feeling one to him for some reason. His parents don't know about his ability, and they can sometimes be overprotective. But he can take care of himself, he would prefer to be the protector, not the protected. But Cedar feels his parents are right about someone following him. He isn't to sure if this town will be any safer, especially sense they don't know who they are running from.

Name: Pippa
Age: 15
Disorder: Elemental Faerie (She can control Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and Electricity) She has wings and can fly. She can create any of the elements when she needs to. She hasn't found a need to use her 'disorder' though, so she mostly just lets it be dormant other than training sessions with her brother in case his 'maker' comes after them.
How did they get their 'disorder'? Not really sure. After her brother was attacked they went for a run and she discovered it. (She doesn't know it but she was adopted so it was inherited from her real parents)
In the club?: Will join when her brother does
Looks: Pippa
Personality: She is very happy go lucky, loves the outdoors, making new friends, and is way to trusting.
History: (Cedars is pretty much the same)
She grew up in the rural area of Tennessee where her parents owned a farm. She grew up riding horses and exploring the woods. In her mind there was nothing safer then the woods and home. That was until her brother was attacked. It was the worst night/day of her life. When he didn't come home they tried to find him that night, but to no avail. After calling the police they were told they had to wait 24 hours. That he was a teenager who probably just went to a party. But she knew better than that. They had a special bond with their parents, they didn't have curfew, if he wanted to go somewhere he just had to let them know.

When they found him the next morning Pippa didn't think that he would survive. She was scared that she was going to lose her only sibling. He was torn to shreds, covered in blood, and in crazy amounts of pain. But he managed to pull through and make it with only one scar which surprised the doctors. Nothing was every the same again. She always got the feeling she was being watched, her mom kept catching someone standing in the treeline across from the house. That was enough for their parents. They packed up and started moving within a month of Cedar's attack. It didn't matter where they went though because they were followed it would seem. Though she started to brush it off as paranoia. Who would want to hurt her brother anyway.

Then she caught him shifting one day in the back yard and they decided that whoever was stalking him was probably the one that had changed him. That either they didn't mean to change him and wanted to find a way to kill him, or that they meant to and were keeping tabs on him to see how he was handling it and one day expose themselves. One way or the other it was creepy. One day they were running through the woods and a rock flew out of no where straight towards them. Pippa threw up her arms to shield her face and some how it stopped right in front of her hands just hovering in thin air. That's the day she found out about her powers, but they couldn't figure out where they came from. It wasn't until later that she found out about her wings and how they glide in and out of her back when she wants them too.

Name: Andrea Stoddard

Age: Sixteen

Disorder: Mind reading, for as long as she can remember she's always had this ability, always able to hear other peoples thoughts. But if you must really know, her grandmother gave her this ability though Power Bestowal when she was still a baby, just a couple mouths after her birth. She had the powers already, her grandmother just gave her a jump start to them.

In the club?: She's in since her freshman year, and she's one of the oldest members to the club, mainly because she heard other people that were in the club thinking about it, and she singled them out curious to the club and wanted to join.

Looks: Andrea has a cold confident look to her she can sometimes come off even intimidating to Freshman or others outside of the group, but on the inside she can be scared easily she conceals her emotions from the others believing that showing emotions proves that she's weak. she lives an emo lifestyle, which means she tends to dress in all black and even wears a black fedora that she pulls low when she doesn't want to be seen.

Personality: Layla is a born prodigy when it comes to strategy, always thinking three steps ahead of people, and predict what they'll do next by gathering information from there thoughts and moving forward with plans. She's a cold calculating teen with thoughts of only survival and strategy, she has an easy going personality about her and to others can be the ideal friend and leader. To her enemies tho, she comes off as a nasty woman who you wouldn't want to cross twice in a single day. On her bad days, she can be a violent, kill ready, and very unprofessional person who's quiet selfish. On her best days, she's calm, cold, cool, and very professional, always thinking of others.

History: Andrea came from one of the oldest families in town, born of a Marine and a Nurse, a few months after her birth her mother bestowed the power of Mind Reading. She's always seemed average tho, she grew up with her dad constantly teaching her, listening to the thoughts of other people around her as she. She mainly learned from her mother, as she learned how to save someones life, learning CPR, how to take blood, pressure bandaging, how to treat wounds and illnesses in general.

Andrea came to her local high school when she was fourteen, though the years that she had the ability to read minds, she has learned to control it, focus it, or even turn it on and off. She used this ability to join up with the Silver Bullet Club, after hearing a few thinking about it. The club at first wasn't thrilled at the fact someone had discovered the club, but when they found out her so called "disorder" then they were more than thrilled to let her join them.

Throughout the next four years (She's a senior currently.) she had made friends, lost friends, had relationships with certain male and female club members. But recently with the new Paranormal Investigators office opening up in town, she's lost a couple members mysteriously without explanation. But Andrea couldn't openly move against the office without exposing the entire secret of the club, she's reluctant to keep quiet, and not only this she's had three tails over the course of the year, she's managed to loss them, but she doesn't know how long she can keep up the Silver Bullet Club's sherad.

Now present day, she's made her way up the ranks of the club, and has become a leader figure in the club, even tho there is no designated leader, and she's getting desperate to save the people in the club, cause to her, there the only real friends she has, and she wasn't about to loss them.

Other: Up for love: Openly straight secretly lesbian.

Name: Chris Lanyard
Age: 17
Disorder: He has no (paranormal) disorder (well, at least he doesn't know of any).
In the club: Yes. He found the club by accident.
Looks: He has a short build, yet is deceptively strong. He has black hair, yet goes with a shaved head. He has a short beard and wears glasses. He has a jolly face. Wears old, worn clothes. He drives a very compact, small black car.
Personality: Chris is the humorist of the group. He is always smiling, never serious, and either a pain in the ascot or the guy you just gotta love. The man has some serious anger issues, but when he isn't affected by these, he is always happy. He is somewhat nerdy, but mostly just a chill son of a gun.
Behavior: Well, Chris has some anger management issues. When he is struck by an attack of these, he becomes very high-tempered and will often shout and treat others with disrespect. The happy-go-funny Chris is gone, replaced by a troubled individual.
History: Chris was born to a family of 6 kids, and there were 5 more after him. His father is a full-time mechanic and his mother is is the proprietor of a Hair-Dresser. Even with both parent's incomes, there isn't enough to care for the 7 kids still left in the house, so everyone helps out. From birth, he has learned to be independent, with both parents working, and is very close with his 11 siblings. Early on in his life, his family and friends noticed that while he was usually a happy kid, never complaining or picky, he had certain problems. Every once in a while, he would go off on tantrums, in which he could get violent, and for some reason, the angry toddler instilled fear in people much older and stronger than him. However, the family did not have enough money for counseling, so he had to deal with it on his own.

When he got to high school, he did not get involved in any sports, and joined the marching band, where he played the tuba, and was thus labeled a nerd by many, although individually, most kids in the school would admit that they liked him. He adapted well, and was able to stay on the good side of most of the cliques. He learned that the best way to avoid conflict is with humor, and he had a proficiency for telling jokes. One time, he was being provoked by a classmate, and although he did not want to fight, he had an anger spell and gave the kid one punch and it was over. However, this only garnered him more respect from the others.

When he turned 14, he got various jobs at local establishments, and when he was 16, picked up steady work at the auto-body shop where his dad worked. He could often be seen there, doing routine things and manning the reception desk, joking with the waiting customers. He inherited a small, black Honda that was used by his parents and four of his siblings before him, and often gives his friends rides places when he has the time.

Being a friend of one of the members of the Silver Bullet Club (TBD), he had stopped by to drive her/him home one day when he showed up early and overheard one of the meetings. When they saw him listening, they cornered him and found out he knew about all of their powers. (They accidentally proved that they were true, to him while threatening him, so he believed.) They were conflicted as to how to handle the situation, and when they said this out loud, Chris joked, "You're confused? Join the club." And so that's what he did- he joined, becoming the only non-powered member.

Name: Dakota Owens
Age: 26

Disorder: Psychokinesis. Dakota can move objects with her mind. This is an ability she has suppressed over the years. The ability has passed to her through the female line of her family.

In the club?: No.

Looks: Long, medium brown hair and hazel eyes. Dakota has mildly tanned skin and a very boyish figure. She's petite with angular eyes; nose and she has high cheekbones. She has something of a predatory look about her and always seems to be staring. Her clothes are colourful and unusual and often adorned with buttons or small jewels or other bits and bobs. She never wears jewellery and her hair tends to be tied back and unruly.

Picture!

Personality: Perceptive. Distrusting. Aloof. Secretive. Dakota has led a very singular life of study and contemplation. She's an intelligent young woman without many ambitions of her own, though she has a lot of ideas. But she struggles to translate those into wants or plans of action. Dakota is a follower but while she doesn't say it out loud, she's always questioning 'why' they do things.

History: She's a paranormal investigator and this is the story of how she started out.

Dakota was the third of three children in her family but she was the first and only girl. Mr. Owens didn't need a third child. He had two boys, seven and five, and he was too old for going through the baby phase again. But Mrs Owens insisted. They had to have one more and it would be a girl and she would be special. Mr. Owens would shake his head to that but Mrs Owens didn't let the issue drop until she had a baby growing in her belly.

Fast forward ten years and Dakota's mother died under suspicious circumstances, leading Mr. Owens to care for the three children and to obsess over what he considered to be a murder case. And Dakota grew and she watched and she learned.

What Dakota learned was that there are some things in this world which can't be explained and her father didn't like them. What she also learned was she was one of them. It happened slowly at first, but objects around Dakota would move. They'd spin as she walked by when there wasn't any wind or they'd roll across the table to bump against her hand. Soon enough Dakota noticed a pattern and the pattern was her.

But with her dad moving deeper and deeper into the paranormal investigators movement, the best Dakota could do was cover it up and when it came to her turn to follow in his footsteps, she did so without argument. But in her head there are so many questions.

Name: Daniel Nitram

Age: 17 in appearance he forgot his real age.

Disorder: Daniel is technically a reanimated corpse though in the less conventional sense. He's capable of healing even from decapitation and is invulnerable to pain he doesn't seem to ever get tired or need to breath. Though he does get bored sigh in frustration and display several other signs of being human.
He was brought back to life in an experiment mixing magic and science. Daniel has never been able to contact his creator since the process leaving him with a thousand questions and no answers.

In the club?: He's in the club but they found him.

Looks: Daniel is rather tall and lanky with a very light amount of muscle tone. His hair is worn combed back it's slightly long and he wears it parted on the right its a shade of charcoal grey that seems unusual at best. His skin is a pale white almost grey, his eyes are also a dark grey and give off a faint luminescence. He wears primarily button up shirts, tight blue jeans tucked in to ankle high boots, and his most distinguishing items are his patched up jacket and the scarf the covers the unusual symbols on his neck.

Personality: Daniel is eccentric and has a strong tendency towards day dreaming. He tends to keep people at a distance finding close relationships difficult. He's forgetful and has a tendency to speak in different languages he's learned over the course of his life. Daniel is a wealth of historical knowledge seeing as he was there for large portions of it. Daniel would lay down his life for a friend, if he could. He often struggles with becoming truly close to anyone as he realizes that he will have to watch them age and die. He's been in love before but as he has to watch them die he finds it hard. Regardless he's human and needs people.

History: Daniel remembers very little of his first year of undeath. He had little to his name and had forgotten much of his life before he was brought back to life. Daniel soon found he had skill at sailing he took up with some Portuguese traders in the year 1734 he showed some skill at map reading and translating, even though he didn't even know his native language. After attaining some wealth he headed for the new world to become a scholar. Daniel loved books and became enthralled by them spending hours studying all topics. Daniel maintained a youthful look but good fortune allowed him to easily change his appearance as the years went by using make up and powder on his hair.

Daniel grew fond of being at the fore front of history and discovery changing his name as time suited him though always remaining a Daniel. Daniel even fought in the earliest wars for America. He especially found spending time with the forefathers interesting especially Benjamin Franklin to whom Daniel revealed his curious predicament. Benjamin Franklin was fascinated by the prospect thinking ahead of Mary Shelley that perhaps electricity was the power that drove me. Daniel spent many years with Benjamin accompanying him as a body guard until his death.

His time spent with Benjamin Franklin sparked two of his greatest loves invention and philosophy. He wrote several novels on philosophy and traveled meeting with the literary geniuses of the day. A large chunk of Daniel's time was spent looking in to the new machines being built in old Franklin's absence. His life went on this way writing and recording for posterity until the Civil War. Daniel fled from the United States loosing hope for the young country and headed east.

Daniel spent much of his time in the east studying the fine arts in Italy enthralled by their beautiful music. After learning what he could of most of Europe, he toured as a musician, he traveled further east. He eventually arrived in China were he met the Shaolin monks that he lived with for 40 years. After this time he began traveling West desiring a return the U.S. He returned in the year 1937 much had changed and America seemed strange to him now. He found poverty when he returned a downtrodden people. He traveled the country helping helping when he could until it finally seemed to pass.

The years seemed to pass quickly after this time until the year 2010 in which Daniel suffered a horrible accident. He lost almost all of his memory after a terrible head trauma. For almost two years he was comatose finally waking up in a hospital in Willowcreek. His memory returns sporadically but he never lost his seeming mastery of all languages and his combat skills trained by the monks. He lives in an unusual, especially for a small town like Willowcreek, house called Stone Manor a mansion that is occupied by his two secretive adoptive parents and himself.

Name: Silas Ardell
Age: 58
Disorder: He has no clear cut disorder, but he was born with a gift for 'tongues'. He can speak over animals, and sometimes people, gaining control over him. This gift extends to control over demons, which he handles just like snakes. He calls his gift, "The Voice of Ophiuchus".
In the club?: No
Looks: Silas is a well dressed older man. While he looks stooped, at times he seems to have strength befitting a much younger person. He has sleek white hair that he slicks back. His eyes are sky blue with red freckles. He always wears a satin suit, and he carries a black cane with a silver snakes head, fangs bared.
Personality: What are your character's major personality traits? How do they behave? How does their disorder affect them?

Silas is very religious. As a snake handler, not much sets him on edge. Sometimes he seems to have an odd sort of control over the snakes. At the pulpit, Silas is often angry. He preaches with much zeal. He has strong convictions, and since he firmly believes God is on his side, he does not fear death. This can make him a dangerous and aggressive enemy.

While he is an aggressive, violent person, he can be very charismatic. His word are like honey to flies, luring in desperate folks and indoctrinating them with his beliefs. Silas's greatest desire is to subjugate the 'demons' of the world, and use the for his and God's benefit. At least how he sees it.

He firmly believes God gave him his 'gift' to control demons. He uses this gift to gain power over them, then he uses said demon's powers himself by forcing the demon to possess him.

History: Silas was born in 1955. His father was a coal miner. His mother had died giving birth to him. At a very young age, he learned he could speak in tongues. Often times he would start talking without realizing the words he spoke were not any particular language. His father took note of this and sent him to the local Methodist preacher, who took him on as a sort of foster son.

He pushed the Bible on Silas, who read it every chance he could get. As he grew older, he grew intensely interested in 'snake handling'. He started attending a local church that taught the true test for salvation was the handling of a snake. If the snake bit you, you weren't saved. If it didn't, you were. Silas boldly grasped a snake, and spoke tongues at it, and brought it under his control.

By the age of fourteen, he was running his own church in a tent. He tought his followers to speak over demons, and control them through a sort of reverse possession. His father strongly discouraged him from continuing to preach. The old man was found dead, swollen up from snake bites.

From there on, Silas spent his time accumulating wealth from his church, and buying out businesses. Much of his wealth is 'invested in the community'. Most recently, he has hired a group of paranormal investigators to aid him in his search of the strange 'demons' that seem to lurk in Willowcreek.

-WordsandWishes Character-

Name: Emmelia Stevens (Em for short)
Age: 15
Disorder:
Pyronemia:(The ability to create heat, fire, and radiation). The disorder is believed to be hereditary since no other cause could be found. But there's no way to prove anything since she's adopted and her birthparents remain unfound and untraceable.
In the club?
Yes. Em was found by the club when a warehouse burned to the ground seemingly without cause. No bombs, matches, or flammable chemicals were located at the scene. Em was convicted of arson. Though there was no proof, however, that she was guilty; other than the fact that she was there.
After intensive questioning the club discovered her "disorder" and deemed her mentally stable.
They bailed her out soon afterward.
Looks:
Average height, fit but curvy. Has long curly reddish blond hair that falls to her waste. High cheekbones, and piercing blue eyes that glitter with mischief.
Personality:
Emmelia is bright, happy and outgoing. She tends to blush a bit when nervous but denies it all the same. She's also a total daredevil. And is almost always smiling...almost. When Em feels threatened or angry or ...any strong emotion really, her disorder kicks in and she sets herself and/or other objects/people on fire.
Emmelia is also very protective and will give up anything to protect the ones she loves. Some of her friends fear that this may ultimately be her downfall.
History:
Emmelia's abilities manifested around age 12, and she has yet to learn complete control over them. Her adoptive parents found out 5 weeks after her 14th birthday and -not knowing what else to do- planned to send her to reform school.
Instead, Emmelia ran away with her adoptive sister Tian. On the first night they broke into an old warehouse. They had hoped to stay the night, but were met by a local gang. When they attacked, Em "blazed' (as she now calls it) and the warehouse caved in on them.
Emmelia never found out if Tian made it out alive. Though she refuses to make contact, afraid to explain. Afraid of what may have become of her.
Afraid of herself.

Name: Philemon Bovine

Age: 23

Disorder: Chronokinesis. In other words: control of time. The only problem here is that he can never control this ability, only showing at times when he doesn't expect it. He actually have time traveled four times (as he remembered, but he actually time traveled a lot when he was young and when he's asleep).

In the club?: No.

Looks: Remember the nerd guys you meet in high school? How about the hippies? Well, he's almost exactly the mixture of both stereotypes.

His hair, dark brown like pressed maple leaves, is a bit of a mess, although not too long; it doesn't reach his ear. He had big black-rimmed glasses on him all the time--for the typical nerd/hippie--, hiding his warm green irises. He has a pretty white complexion, but in retrospect it's a bit yellow.

His skin near the hands and feet are a bit rough and their tips have callouses. His wardrobe contains very simple clothing from hand-knit wool sweaters to donated ponchos.

Personality: He's not the bravest, that's for sure. He's bland, anxious and sometimes odd. What makes him special is his curiosity. He's very nosy and up for some discovery, but he knows what and what not to do. He's a matter-of-fact guy, always pointing out stuff and explaining them. When one is close to him quite enough, he shows his lighter side, the one he hides from everyone else. He's up for humor and excitement in the inside.

History:
He's newly hired on the team of paranormal investigators. To be filled up in short notice.

Name: Aryn (pronounced like Erin) Ferris

Age: 16

Disorder: Healer *but she heals whoever she touches and their wounds/illness becomes her own*

In the club?: Yes, the club found her.

Looks: Aryn is hauntingly beautiful with black hair and blue eyes. She is pretty tall, and skinny but with gentle curves. Growing up, her strange beauty intimidated many so most of the girls stayed clear of her, because of jealousy, and guys because they were afraid to talk to her, which was all the same to her. Image

Personality: Aryn mostly steers clear of people, which she passes off as germophobia. Despite her being in the club she's still careful not to get too close to anyone. As of now, everyone thinks she is an empath because she is afraid that they would use her disorder for their own personal gain. As a result, she is insanely lonely. She feels like she has no one to turn to.

History: Aryn discovered her ability at around age three, when her and her mom got into a really bad car accident. A big truck, driven by a drunk driver had swerved into their lane and smashed into them head on. Aryn was virtually untouched. Her mom however, was beaten badly and unconscious. Aryn struggled out of her car seat and climbed over to her mom. Going to shake her, the minute Aryn's hand made contact with her mom, she immediately started to absorb her mother's injuries. It was like a vacumn and the injuries transferred quickly. Aryn or her mom could have died if Aryn hadn't passed out and lost contact. Instead she absorbed only half of the injuries, which was enough to save her mother.

In the hospital, she realized what she had done. She tried to tell the doctors but that only lead to them testing her brain in unpleasant ways. It was at three years old that she discovered her tremendous gift, and it was at only three years old that she vowed to keep it a secret from everyone, even her mother.

When she started school, things got very difficult. When kids went to play with her, even to pass a crayon to her, if she even so much as brushed fingers with them, she could absorb anything from a runny nose to a scraped knee. And in second grade, she decided that she could never touch anyone. So from then on, she has never held a hand, given a hug, or a high five for fear of absorbing an injury or sickness that could kill her.

Up for love: She would say no, but really she is dying for someone to love her, to hold her.

Reserving spot in the club ;)

Okay, I'm gonna say it's done now. Might ad some things to Samantha's history, if I come up with anything else.

Name: Jonathan Summers

Age: 17

Disorder: He can see ghosts, and whenever he touches someone he sees the moment of their death. (See history.)

In the club?: Yes. (See history.)

Looks: I've always wanted to use Eddie for a character, so here he is <3
Spoiler
Image

Personality: He tries not to touch people, since it always makes him see how they are going to die, but compensates by being very friendly and talkative. Though he is never the one who approaches others, since he's afraid they might be spirits. Also, when fist approached by another person he keeps his voice low and tries to not look at them, in case it is a spirit. This, obviously, comes of as very weird, but not as weird as talking with someone who isn't there.

He has bad self-esteem due to the time when he was bullied as a kid, and thinks of himself as underneath everyone else. He does what he is told, so he's very easy to push around, and he doesn't even mind since he thinks that he is supposed to be treated like that. He's very gullible, and always wants to think the best about others.

Jonathan is very calm, and he doesn't get exited about much. It takes a lot to make him angry or scared, only a few of the spirits manages to pull that of. When he do get angry/scared he lets it all out at once, often throwing a fit.

History: When he was 5 he and his parent were in a car crash. All three of them died. Two days later Jonathan woke up in the morgue, surrounded by all sorts of people. He asked them where he was, and they seemed utterly surprised that he could see them. Ten minutes later the coroner walks in and sees Jonathan laying there, talking to thin air. He was sent back to the hospital where he made a full recovery.

At first he didn't think it was weird that he could see people that others couldn't, since he had imaginary friends from earlier, but the older he grew the more worried his aunt and her husband (who had adopted him) became. He was also staring to see things when he touched others, things that he didn't understand until it was too late.

When he was seven he held his aunts hand and saw her get a heart attack. He warned her about it, numerous times, but she didn't listen. A few days later she got a heart attack, exactly when and where Jonathan had said that it would happen. His aunt's husband was terrified of his abilities, and put him up for adoption since no other relative wanted to take him.

He was handed from one foster family to the next for years. At school they always bullied him for his strange behavior. Sometimes he'd talk to someone that the others couldn't see, other times he'd cover his ears in the middle of class for no apparent reason. They thought he was mad, and so did the foster parents.

It went on like that. Even though he learned how to ignore most of the spirits, the persistent ones still bothered him. When he was 14 he was handed to a woman who worked as a psychic. She realized that Jonathan wasn't crazy, but just a very strong psychic, and she decided to adopt him permanently. They get along pretty well, and Jonathan is happy that he has finally found a permanent home, even though people at school still avoid him.

During his freshman year he accidentally bumped into another student from his school, and realized that the student was going to get hit by a buss. He told that student about it, but the student didn't believe him. Jonathan followed the student, and stopped s/he from walking out in front of the buss. The student introduced him to the club. Jonathan is extremely grateful that he has finally found someone (except for his adoptive mother) that understands him.

Name: Samantha Heikkinen, but everyone calls her Sam.

Age: 16

Disorder: Shapeshifter. A bit like Mystique (or a metamorphmagus). She can look like whoever she wants, she just needs to imagine it.

In the club?: No, not yet.

Looks: She can change her look however she wants, but this is how she chooses to look when she's in school. She's thin and about 5'3 tall:
Spoiler
Image

Personality: She's easygoing, playful and outgoing, but strongly independent, and tends to get along with most people. She talks a lot, and it can be difficult to make her shut up. She's a bit careless, and she has accidentally shifted in front of people when she wasn't thinking. Not thinking before acting is kind of her 'thing'.

Although (or maybe because) she trusts people easily and often help people without expecting anything in return, she never lets go of a grudge. If you've done her wrong she never forgets it.

She's a great actor, though she doesn't use those skills often, unless she has taken someone else's appearance. She prefers to stay true to herself, and is a bit afraid that she's going to forget who she really is.

History:
She started shifting when she was only a few months old, and her parents freaked out (pretty understandable). To prevent her from being discovered they home schooled her and kept moving around, even changing their names several times. Eventually she grew tired of it, and demanded that they'd let her go to a normal high school. When they refused she ran away from home.

She changed her name and appearance, moved to a new town and started high school. She quickly gained friends, but doesn't really trust anyone of them. One day she turned into another student to escape from a teacher, but unfortunately walked into one of the friends of said student. She excused herself as quickly as she could, but not before hearing something about the Silver Bullet Club. It picked her interest, and right now she's trying to find out what it is.

Other: Up for love, bi.. And she can change from female to male whenever she wants.

Note: Shin, you inspired me w/ Silas. Hope this guy isn’t too over-the-top. xD Also, sorry for double-posting or whatever you call it)

Name: Eli Walker

Age: 16

Disorder:
(A little complicated, so bear with me) “Runes of Abraham.”
When he uses his “power” his eyes light up with a golden light, then runes appear on the skin of his left arm. These runes shine brightly, seeming to be “etched” into his very being. They wrap around his wrist and up his forearm to his shoulder, and are some type of indecipherable Hebrew-ish lettering. (“Iniquity” is spelled on his palm)
When Eli places his hand on the ground (or any surface) the runes will spread until he has enclosed the entire area in a circle, sealing him and his opponent (usually demons) inside. The next step is simple: he places his hand on the being in question and the runes appear on them, then he speaks the *secret word* ("Jerusalem") and the runes will burn into them until they die/are completely incinerated.

In the club? Yes (See history)

Looks:
He has darkish brown hair, somewhat “sandy” with brown eyes.
Clean cut, strong nose and chin, yadda yadda.

Sort of like this guy:

But with this guy’s hair:

Personality:
Very serious, and never smiles. Sort of stand-off-ish, but he has a strange look in his eyes. It’s a haunted, untrusting look. He is wary of everyone and has few friends. (Even among the club) He’s intelligent to a degree, but has a reckless side to him (he acts before thinking and jumps head-first into stuff) He also has a very, very short temper, which gets him into a lot of trouble. He doesn’t scream or throw fits, but uses violence. Fast and straightforward and violent. He could probably kill someone with his fists, if he got really carried away. He’s a silent, unstoppable fighter. Did I mention he’s not very vocal?

History:
Unlike most of the members, who were found by the club, Eli came to town because of the club. No one knows why, as he won’t say. When they finally did “meet up” he was haggard and seemed to be half-mad (that was 2 years earlier) He has a messy past that he’s always kept to himself.

Eli goes to the local highschool, but he’s more absent than not. What does he do in that time? He trains a lot, but he also loves to build things. (Small things, incredibly intricate and detailed things, like a working airplane model and a music box)

Eli was born to normal parents, in a normal family; with one exception: he has always had a connection to the paranormal. He could see demons, ghosts, etc. for as long as he could remember. While living in Manhattan when he was eight his family was attacked by a demon. He killed it (without using the runes, but with the same power) but in the process accidentally killed his parents as well. At that point Eli ran away, becoming lost in the city. In a random park, in the middle of the night, a man found him. He was a "Rabbi" in a “secret order” and took Eli in. But the “Rabbi” was also a paranormal, and had been attracted to Eli’s power. The next years were spent in secret training and dark rituals, Eli rarely saw the outside world. (During this time the runes were burned into his arm, and his “true name” became Ahed Kahesh---the Hebrew word for “dark one”) But when his 13th birthday came, Eli “fully awakened,” as the “Rabbi” had wanted for his demonic purposes. But Eli, as a demon killer, slayed both the demon the Rabbi had summoned and the Rabbi himself. Finally free, Eli left and wandered the normal world, alone, until he came to Willowcreek.

And it begins.

Introduction: Chris Lanyard

Looking at me, most sensible people wouldn’t be able to believe that I was in the Silver Bullet Club. Chris Lanyard, the townie kid who spent his childhood running around the neighborhood as fast as his short legs could carry him and helping his family work through tough times? Chris Lanyard, one of twelve kids, who will probably never leave the town of Willowcreek in his life, and if he does, only to try be seen looking for cheaper gas? Chris Lanyard, who thinks that you can throw a clock out a window to see time fly? Chris Lanyard, the kid who only stops making jokes when he has anger issues?

No, not him. You must be thinking of a different Chris Lanyard, they would say. Ours is nothing special. There ain’t a paranormal bone in the guy’s stocky little body. There is no way that the son of the resident mechanic is a member of what could be one of the most important circles of all time.

But they would be wrong.

You see, the story starts at the end of junior year of high school. The football season long over, marching band was all but forgotten, and that meant early hours at the shop. My work schedule was lenient, but like most of the people in Willowcreek, I was paid by the hour, and at seven bucks every sixty minutes and six kids at home to help feed, every one of those minutes count.

Nevertheless, at half past five, I was called on- literally- to perform a task that I performed almost as much as my job, which was taxiing my friends to and fro their various urgent events. I guess it comes with being one of the singular members of your circle who owns an automobile, yet I still regretted being such a nice guy. But I digress. Coming through the speakers of my flip cell phone was such a soft voice, that through the music playing on the boom and my seemingly mile-thick ear drums, I could barely hear it. If I didn’t know Aryn, I would assume it was a crank call.

I did though, and of course, after listening to her quietly for a second, agreed to all the terms and conditions. My Taxi Service was in demand again, and it grew increasingly so ever since Aryn started staying after school a lot to attend some sort of club that she consistently fails to mention the name of.

“No. It’s… yeah, Aryn it’s fine. Yeah- it’s okay. I’ll be there as soon as I finish this job. Don’t expect me for a little bit.” My voice grunted a little as I worked to remove a sticky brake pad to get to the faulty rotors. “Yeah. Bye.” I flipped the phone shut and stuffed it in the pocket of my greasy canvas work pants. I sighed, and realized my dad was standing over me.

“How ‘bout you go ahead, Chris. I’ll finish up here,” he said in that oddly quiet voice of his, rubbing the stubble on his face that always seemed to have a confused expression written on it. “Go help your friend.”

“Nah, Dad, I got it. You have plenty to do already-”

“Listen son,” he said, ponderously, “don’t be goin’ thinkin’ that you gotta carry the whole world on your shoulders, hear? Only part of it. And right now, that part is your friend. So get out of here.” He paused for a split second. “And don’t forget to make dinner for the kids, alright. Not like last time.”

“Whew, yeah,” I breathed, remembering how my little brother Tommy had tried to chew the leg off the kitchen table, leaning tiny bite marks and a sore mouth in his collateral. “Thanks a lot, Dad. I’ll remember this next time you are running out to chauffeur a hypochondriac.”

He just stared at me and blinked, as always, never cracking the slightest smile. I don’t know how I got the funny gene, because it certainly wasn’t from my Mom. Her understanding of humor went only about as far as gossip about the regularity of her neighbors and pratfalls from drunken customers. But, needless to say, I took this time to make my retreat, stripping off my work gloves and clothes and scrubbing my glasses.

Sitting on the floor of the board of my little car on the road, I dreaded the long minutes that were to come. Spending time with Aryn was a little… uncomfortable. She was not a very talkative person, and was about as fun-loving as my father. Sit a desperate comedian in a car with a deadbeat audience, and you are in for one hell of an awkward ride. Even though I considered her a friend, she was still somewhat distant from me. I would probably attribute this to fact that she LITERALLY always keeps distance from me- anyone really. Whether it’s a fear of xenophobia or germaphobia, all I know is that she seems to find it necessary to sit in the back seat, as if in fear that I may reach out and grab her hand in a fit of romantic passion or some jazz like that.

I passed Mom’s hairdresser shop and the house on the way to the school, not surprisingly, given that Willowcreek was small and rural, packing in as many Georgians as it could into the small town area (not many). I pulled up to the high school, and sat for a couple of minutes in the student parking lot, directly to the left of the entrance, drumming my fingers to the tune of some reggae song on the radio. The winter, while mild at this latitude, still bite if you weren’t careful, but I didn’t have the heat on in the crappy black Honda. When you have to play driver to a small pack of license-less friends, you learn to conserve as much gas as you can.

Eventually, I decided, what the hell, I’ll go in and see if she’s done. I can finally find out what this club is that no one else seems to attend. I climbed out, thumbed the key through the lock and hopped up the stairs of the old school. I slid through the reception area, nodding to the har-of-hearing night custodian, who was wiping the floor with a wet mop.

I realized that I did not know where this meeting would be held, and while it was a small school, it wasn’t THAT small, and it was practically empty. Luckily, I made out some loud voices coming from the hall to my right. I started down that way, then hesitated for a second when I realized the voices were arguing, quite violently. I paused outside of the door from whence the sounds emerged.

“You set fire to WHAT?” yelled a girl’s voice, nearly knocking me off balance. Well, this was already off to a good start.

“I didn’t set fire to anything. What gave you that stupid idea. I didn’t say anything. Did I say anything?” a second, younger girl asked an audience I couldn’t see.

“My gosh, Em! Do I have to spell it out for you. YOU DON’T HAVE TO SAY IT OUT LOUD. Don’t you remember what my specialty seems to be?”

“Okay, okay,” said the second girl. “You got me, but it was an accident, I just put my hand on the teacher’s desk, and without even thinking, just, whoomph! I didn’t mean to do it!”

“Yeah, yeah,” said a relaxed voice that I immediately recognized as Daniel Nitram from my AP US History class. He was probably the most knowledgeable when it came to the colonial life of our country, even going so far as to site quotes and conditions that my teacher had no idea of. “You were begging me for help on that Chemistry test that you didn’t study for. And the test pile just happened to be right under your fingers when you activated the pyronemia.”

“Shut up Dan!”

I was very confused at this point. Not having to say things out loud? Pyronemia? A desk on fire? What is all this? I was thinking very hard, yet still couldn’t follow any of it.

The first girl spoke again. “You just can’t do this, Em. Someone can see you, you could get discovered. This whole club could get compromised. Have you noticed the posters up in town? There is a paranormal investigation service coming here in August! Listen, I know that they probably don’t even believe that that stuff exists. But it does! And it doesn’t help to just prove it to them.”

“It’s okay! The teacher found an empty pack in the trash long with matches, and she had some chemicals on her desk! I looked like an angel!” Em seemed close to tears.

“It doesn’t matter, Emmelia, it really- What’s that?” The voices abruptly stopped. I felt very exposed, yet remained frozen under the window of the door as footsteps approached from inside the classroom.

I held my breath, but the door burst open, and the girl who had turned the knob let out a gasp. A few shouts of indignation popped out and I was instantly bulled into the wall by a tall guy, who looked like he could’ve been a model. I slammed up against the lockers, and he held my short but strong body a foot off the ground, one arm pressed firmly against my chest.

“Who is this, some kind of anorexic, nearsighted Paul Giamatti?” the guy accused, although I was dry for a comeback. I was shocked into silence, but my eyes were wider than a pregnant woman’s- um- minivan, and glued on the teens arms. Up and down them, ripples of electricity that resembled a strange tattoo flickered up and down his arm, radiating an extremely hot power. The tattoos were very odd, resembling Egyptian Hieroglyphics if nothing else. They scared the living inferno out of me. “What did you hear? What do you know?”

“He knows everything. I heard his thoughts,” said the girl who had been berating her peer in the classroom and who had found me eavesdropping.

“Are you sure, Andrea?” the kid said, still looking me in the eye with a look that could fry crops better than the sun.

“Well,” said Daniel, speaking up. “If he didn’t hear, he must know about us now that you are reading his mind and shooting him with ancient runes. What are we going to do next? Should I let him chop my head off and watch as it heals itself?” What?

“Chris!” said a soft voice with unquestionable surprise. It was Aryn, standing inside the door of the classroom, eyes gaping, set well behind her cohorts, who numbered more than had spoken. “You’re here already?”

Everyone turned to look at her. I even drew my eyes away from the electricity that volted through my assailant’s hands, seeming to travel further and further down his arms every pulse. “You know this guy!”

She seemed to be startled back into her senses. “Yes! I mean, yes, I know him. Please, Eli, put him down, don’t hurt him!”

He dropped me unceremoniously on the floor and backed up a little, never letting his guard down. Everyone continued to look at Aryn assaulting her with questions about me, and I continued to have a stricken look on my face, unable to even squeak.

After quite a bit of bickering, the girl whom I now identified as Andrea, who seemed to lead the group of freaky kids whom I had begun to like, inexplicably of course, silenced everyone with a wave of her hand. Everyone immediately piped down. “Okay, so he obviously knows our secret. The question is what do we do now? We can’t just let him go and tell everyone he knows about us.”

Everyone pondered this, as my mouth started to feel the urge to function again. My lips and tongue re-salivated, almost bringing me back to reality. I looked at Aryn who was very fearfully glancing back and forth between faces.

“I know what you guys are thinking. Well, not KNOW, that’s Andrea’s gig. But I can tell what you are considering, and please don’t do it. Chris is my friend, and he’s very trustworthy. Don’t hurt him. Please.”

A little startled, yet wary, Eli bluntly said, “Aryn does not identify as friends with anyone easily. He must have some merit to him.”

“But how do we know that we can trust him to keep something this big a secret?” asked one of the girls who I did not know. This seemed to be the general consensus of the group. They couldn’t just forget about me. I knew too much. (Well, I can’t say that for myself. I could barely follow the conversation, slumped on the hallway floor, leaning against the lockers.) They couldn’t hurt me either; I was like a bothersome dog in a animal’s rights-activist pound.

“I have no idea what to do,” murmured Andrea, staring at the tiled floor.

“Confused?” I said, rather loudly, surprised not only by my functioning voice, but by the fact that my drawl had adopted its customary tone, indicating that I was telling a joke. Everyone immediately drew their gaze to me and I chuckled nervously and said, “Join the club.”

The group exchanged glances, a few sighed, and it was decided. Joining the club was exactly what I would do. And as I would soon learn, my anger management was by far the least troubling disorder of this ragtag troupe of freaks that I grew to love like a family.

It took a while, but they eventually got used to me, and I melded into their club, a group that was as tight as the belt of William Howard Taft. The days that I didn’t work, few and far between, I attended their meetings, and we still managed to all congregate in other times besides rush hour and prime time, and in locations that extended from the Willow Ravine to my kitchen, which was constantly overflowing with toddlers and preteens. Our little team of high schoolers went through a lot together in the short several months that I was a member of their ranks before it hit the fan in September of my senior year. The year that threatened to display the secrets of these troubled teens to the world and make them susceptible to greater dangers than you can imagine. The year in which the Snake Church held all the sticks, and we were left with only a twig and some leaves.

We have to fast forward a little to get there, because what came before it won’t interest any of you who are reading this as mush as the events of September and beyond will.

The important thing is that, looking at me, you wouldn’t expect me to amount to anything important. The poor kid from the big family, one of those families that seems to symbolize the town itself, how could he be part of something extraordinary? How could the kid who probably will not go to college, or if so to the County one, ever seek to contribute to something greater than himself. How could the kid who does not take anything seriously take the fate of the world itself into his hands along with one of the most powerful groups of superhumans to grace the earth with their existence?

You wouldn’t expect it by looking at me, but it was true. Chris Lanyard, the nobody was now a member of the Silver Bullet Club.

Andrea Stoddard - "Soon they all shall bow to the Lord..."

I was getting desperate, between the Paranormal Investigators and Snake Church rolling in, there was a definite chance the Silver Bullet Club would be discovered. It was bad enough that we already had Chris listen into one of our meetings a few months back, but I knew eventually that I would have to face down both groups and somehow manage to kick there butts out of town. I breathed deeply as I looked up at the church that had gone under new ownership, this church, I remember growing up with in my early childhood, remember looking at it as my mother held me in her arms as we went to church. But now I stood here as a young adult, and looking up at this, there was a sense of fear that radiated from the church, maybe it was my own personal fear? having to be unable to see the Father or Pastor I grew up with no longer being here.

Slowly with my hands in my pockets, I picked up my feet and climbed up the stairs, I grew closer and closer to the doors all my senses told me to run away. But I fought to keep my composure, my feelings couldn't get in the way of my investigation of this church, I had to be the same person as I was in the Silver Bullet Club. I slowly my right hand wrapped around the church door handle, and I pushed it open, the door creaked open slowly as I moved inside.

The way the Church was set up, hadn't changed, I was almost certain that it would have. But I was relieved that it hadn't, I walked forward down the ilse between the wooden benches that would have been filled if it was a Sunday. At the end of ilse, a man was looking up at the statue of Jesus Christ, my footsteps as I walked could be heard thumb, thumb, thumb.

"May I help you?" the man at the end asked.

I stopped half way down the ilse my hand was back in my pocket as I looked up from under my fendora.

"I came to check out the new ownership of this church, are you the owner?" I asked slowly, cautiously.

"I am, my name is Silas Ardell," he said.

He slowly turned towards me, revealing him to be an old man, probably in his late fifties, early sixes. He was just outside my range of thought reading, so I couldn't hear any of his surface thoughts, his snake cane and satin red suit really gave him an intimidating feel to his appearance. If I hadn't known better, I would have said he was the devil in a human man's body, But I stood my ground.

"What business do you have here?" Silas asks.

"I used to go here on Sundays with my mom and dad, I came to see if you decided to change anything about this place that hold close in my memories." I said.

"I see, come, why not admire the Lord's Son with me?" he asked.

Perfect, I wanted to get closer to him so I can begin to read his thoughts, to see exactly what he's thinking at this moment. I soon walked closer, soon enough in his voice, I was hearing his thoughts, I stood next to him and looked up at Jesus Christ who hung from the cross all those years ago. But listening to his thoughts, I wasn't picking up anything useful except for the fact that he referring to something called "The Voice of Ophiuchus" to control snakes and demons. Did he have a disorder the same as me or the others? This guy was old, and doubt his intentions to use this "voice" was anything but good.

"I must be going now, I'm going to be late for school if I stay any longer," I said tipping my fendora to him.

I soon turned around and headed back out the doors I came though, his final thoughts before he was out of range were probably something that startled me to no end, and told me finally that he was an enemy.

"Soon they all shall bow to the Lord, it's just a matter of time before the investigators found the demons," he thought.

I was startled to no end by that thought, demons? What demons Eli would have told me there were demons in the town?! I knew quickly that he was referring to the disordered, to me and the others, and to whoever else was in the town. I knew I had to tell everyone else soon, this guy was dangerous and he had to be stopped.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
