The Story as Such

Spoiler
The land of Pengiaria is at war between two growing factions the sides of Chaos and Control. For over a thousand years the land has been kept at peace due to a seal on magic that separated magic in to three main types. The seal stopped the chaos that was created by people using magic to no end and nearly destroying the world. The seal was created by three master magic users the most ancient and wise Cunicul, the dwarf and the first engineer, Sator, the elf and first manipulator, and Pengiaria, the human for whom the land is named and the first creator.

They agreed that every thousand years a battle should be waged to determine if the seal should be removed or renewed. The time for the first battle has arrived and the two factions are at truce while they prepare for the battle. The rules of the combat are simple each side sends forward three combatants. Each side must then do battle until one side concedes defeat. The limit is three days of combat if one side has not achieved victory it is the "impartial" judges decision.

The Two Factions

Control- The Control faction wants to renew the seal they see the chaos as a risk of destruction to all races and lands.

Chaos- The Chaos faction finds the seal a symbol of oppression they detest all that it stands for and believe it's removal will mean freedom and equality.

Neutral- The Neutral faction is as the name implies supposed to be neutral in all things. They side with neither faction and are the ones set to be judges and constitute several royal parties. Though those royals and judges aren't above favorites and bribery.

The Races and Their Cultures

Elves
Spoiler
They dwell in a massive forest country known as Mare Arbores the capital city being Lignum Vitae. The elves live as one with nature with most having an animal familiar since birth. They are primarily manipulator type magic users with some creators and almost no engineers. Most, if not all elves, are tall with a thin build and several have an almost green to very light brown coloring to them. They are the longest lived of all races making them complicated to say the least. The elves may be ancient and wise but often their wisdom is their greatest flaw making them slow to act.

Dwarves
Spoiler
They are a race of mostly engineers they are a clever and fast thinking race. They live in mountain halls building elaborate kingdoms, and are some of the greatest forgers. Their armor is beautifully intricate and their jewelry is the most beautifully unique. Most dwarves stand at four feet or less despite there height they are a muscular race with bones hard as steel. While they have long lives they are much like humans given to intense passion. They live in the mountain land Montibus Caelum the capital city of their country is Cor Ferro.

Humans
Spoiler
A short lived race with a variety of life styles and an even more diverse look to them. Humans are mostly creators and are rather skilled at it given their gift for imagination. Adept at learning to use weapons of all sorts they make great allies and dangerous adversaries. Their country is a varied land known as Tenuis Ossa it's resplendent capital is known as Aurea Turris.

Vivere Materiales
Spoiler
A race created by engineers of living machines. Given intelligence by being both closely connected to magic and in some cases gifted by their masters they have created their own nation. They are unique in that they do not have skills gifted to all of their race. Even though they are capable of thought they are much like the elves, difficult to truly understand. Still much like creatures created by creators they are fueled by magic. So, while they have no direct magic skills themselves, they can perform random acts of magic. Their country is a land as varied as the creations many creators Sapiuntium, most live in the capital city Medietas.

Rules Governing Magic

-What Magic is: Magic, or as it is known to magic users Fluxum Virtutis, is the basic source of all life. It surrounds everything and is in the very air you breath. Magic users use their bodies as a focal point for the magic and manipulates it out. If to much magic is used though it can kill the user.

-Creators: Essentially you are governed by your imagination but even then that has it's limits your control of the flow of magic when creating can be limited by concentration. Also if your connection to the flow of magic is severed your creation will disappear. This though can't be said of all cases the unicorn, pegasi, and even dragons are examples of magical animals made by creators

-Engineers: They're magic is the least controlled for their magic is stored in their creations and used until burned out or constantly uses the Fluxum Virtutis around it. They are builders tinkerers and forgers at heart and seldom use their magic. But when used they could make robots that could tear down castles or machine guns of simple revolvers. Some simply make objects beneficial to many kind the popular Air ships, electric trolleys, and even steam powered boats were all made by engineers. Some though built great machines of war and death Tanks, turret guns, and robotic suits are just a few of the many dangerous creations of some power hungry engineers.

-Manipulators: Manipulators essentially bend the world to their desire. But, only to an extent they have to have a focal point or something to manipulate. Manipulators unlike the other magic users are either very specific or varied. Their powers are controlled by either their personality or a certain skill. as example a black smith may be able to manipulate the hardness of steel they're crafting or even it's shape. In the case of some they can manipulate time, space, or even the four elements to some extent.

Rules
Spoiler
-Some drug and alcohol references nothing to intense.
-Minimal amount of swearing only if absolutely necessary and no I repeat no F-bombs
-Please no boring names like Sam, Bob, or Joe unless it is a nickname
-No Sex scenes I will not let this become smut.
-Minimum 500 characters per post no single sentence post.
-Any technology please think Steam-punk meets magic technology.

Name: Riemann Seregon

Race and Appearance: Elf. Riemann is 6'4" tall, slender, but muscular. He wears his long straight brown hair in a simple style, the hair around his temples pulled back into two strands and held together at the back of his head with a bronze clip that disappears in his hair. He has green eyes, fair skin, and and angular face and body. He dresses in simple clothes: rough-woven tunics and trousers, a leather vest, and a cloak.

Personality: Riemann has a temper. He can control himself, which is more than can be said for some humans he's met, but he often chooses not to. He's incredibly competitive, and often acts hastily, especially by elven standards.

He's good at combat and at critical thinking, and he knows it, so he can be arrogant. He enjoys taunting people, and never backs away from a good fight. He likes to drink, too. However, he tends to become more likeable when he drinks.

History: He carefully hides his past from everyone, and you'll have to prove your trustworthiness many times before he'll even consider opening up to you. He was born a small elven village called Vilnia. His father was well respected among the tribe, a distinguished warrior. His mother was a skilled archer.

With his parents receiving so much attention, he was ignored most of his childhood, even by his parents. Bored, and longing for attention, he began to cause mischief in the village. It was forgiven for many years, blamed on his youth. However, as he progressed through his teenage years, and he grew worse instead of better, the Elders began to question his temperament.

When he was 25 years of age he was exiled from the tribe. He will be permitted to return when he has learned Inner Peace. But so far he hasn't even come close, and wandered for many years, before he met a Duke who helped him develop his craft. He's since been using his magic to cause trouble, rarely missing Vilnia, even though it's been nearly fifteen years since he left.

Magic User/ Commoner: Manipulator; he can warp time.

Social Standing as Well as your Alliance: Riemann is an Apprentice by day, well respected because of his Master's social superiority. By night, he is a thief and a brawler. Chaos.

Home Village: His home village of Vilnia was situated in the heart of an ancient forest, sealed off from the rest of the world by great mountain ranges. There was very little chatter there, the chief thing that Riemann misses about it, since humans can't seemed to be silent for more than about a minute at a time.

However, everyone there loved music. It seemed to run in their veins. Riemann retained that when he was exiled, and often plays musical instruments or sings. The village also is alive with magic.

Since he was exiled, he's refused to call any other place home.

Up for Love: Yes

Other: Riemann has a strong intuition for animals, and can almost communicate with them, making them do what he wants.

Recycled. Because it's good for the environment.

Name: Lamont Curr.

Age:Somewhere around 130 in human years, he stopped counting at a hundred, so still young in elf terms. Appears to be in his mid twenties.

Race and Appearance: Elven; Tall and lithe with long, lean legs and strong arms. He has big hands, his fingers are topped with thick, sharp inch long nails. His feet are long and heavily arched with hook-barbed pads on the bottom - to aide in climbing trees. Ryan's hair falls down to the back of his knees and is varying shades of green. His skin is a tanned color.

Lamont has strong features, his mouth is wide, his top and bottom canines are sharply pointed, his eyes are almond shaped, slightly slanted, and pale green in color. His ears are large and pointed at the top, larger than his brother's at least.

Personality: Hard and guarded. He prefers to work alone and to be alone. He doesn't trust others at all and is unwilling to open up to anything. Now, he isn't mean, just closed up. If you tried I suppose he could be engaged in some friendly conversation, but he's a loner and doesn't like crowds. He has a dark sense of humor and can respect anyone who knows their way through a few advanced spells.

He is also too skeptical, he puts his trust in no one. He's hard-headed and doesn't take the advice he usually needs. He likes doing things his own way. Also, he's unstable mentally. He suffers from PTSD - born from his time being captured and tortured as a teen - which leaves him with persistent nightmares. Because of this he sleeps very little, depriving himself so much that he will sometimes pass out from exhaustion at unexpected times.

History: In the present, the Rain Forests are not hugely populated. Before, there were many different tribes, and lots of members of each, but now there are few, and none of them are free. Before Lamont's birth, slavers invaded the forests, catching the natives, and taking them away. Lamont was born on one of these slave sights and lived there for ten years. During his upbringing his parents spoke to him of the wonders of the rain forest, and Lamont always knew one day he would return to his homeland. At the age of ten he ran away with his parents and another family. He and Gunther, the father of the other family, were the only ones to make it back.

In the forest Gunther taught Lamont to use magic, to hunt, and how to embrace his roots. He spent his years from ten up to sixteen learning how to kill with the aide of his magic - picking off slavers, hunting game, etc. At the age of seventeen slavers invaded Gunther and Lamont's home, killed Gunther, and captured Lamont. Rumors had been circulating about a hidden tribe of forest dwellers trying to re-populate the area. Lamont had no idea this was happening, but the slavers didn't believe him. He was tortured for half a year before the slavers actually believed he knew nothing, and then kept in captivity for another three. He escaped again with the help of a new slaver that did not really believe in what his father - the boss - was doing, but was required to follow his work.

After Lamont got out he never returned to the forests, instead he began to get more involved in magic and focused on furthering his abilities. He became an apprentice, but soon surpassed his teacher and became a master.

Magic User/ Commoner: Magic User

Social Standing: A master, specializing in body manipulation. Upper class in the city he now resides. He is in Control.

Home Village:

The Plantation:

Lamont was born on a plantation, he was forced into a close-knit family setting. He spent his days working and his nights cramped into a small hut with at least 30 other people. Even though the set up was cramped and uncomfortable, he was around a lot of diverse people and became very cultured that way.

This plantation was not a big one, instead run by a group of people who were little more than bandits and outlaws. There is one main building where the slavers live, three stories tall and the same distance wide with giant pillars and an overhanging balcony and wrap-around porch. The house is where most women and children worked - where Lamont worked.

Five minutes away from the house lies the slaves barrack, small huts made of clay and brick with no ventilation or any luxuries. They are lined up in crooked rows of five, each house holds thirty people.

A short walk away from there lies the fields that the men pick, plow, and plant.

Up for Love: Yes

Other: He carries around his neck a pendant that belonged to Gunther and wears his mother and father's wedding rings.

I'm gonna go with a Dwarf Manipulator, Control. Seems fun. Is there a DT, or do I put my profile here?

Name: Kildred Maldoor.

Race and Appearance:He is a dwarf, Massive in size for a dwarf and always carrying with him a gleaming axe that glows with magical energy, all spells that he has paistalkingly woven into it's very metal. He is rarely caught without his trusty chainshirt, also riddled with some magic, though not as much as his axe. He's got Dark brown hair, grown long into a braided ponytail down his back. His beard is also plaited, and tied off with a strip of leather upon which is a bead of starmetal. Many often assume that it is sentimental to him, but really it's just a focus component, and the leftover metal from his axe. He dresses boringly, but his weathered and scarred skin manages to make him look very daunting indeed. Other than that, he's average height for a dwarf, but stronger than most.

Personality:He's brutally honest, and a really crappy strategist, though he doesn't really acknowledge it. He knows it, he just chooses to allow others to believe other things. If he knows how to do anything, its fighting. He can channel magic through his axe in ways that few thought possible, especially from Kildred. He's outward and friendly, jolly as a person. He rarely says anything in a way that makes people feel bad. He's really good at talking to people. He views everyone as his friends. But when it comes to fighting, he's adamant, harder to break then a steel mountain. He fights like a demon, his physical strength and combatative magic are nearly unrivaled by other dwarves. He's not afraid to chalenge anyone to a fight.

History: He was trained with his older brother, Kollek, in the arts of combat and magic as a small boy. His brother was a natural, and would always beat Kildred in practice, but nonetheless the two were the best of friends. Kildred, however, would always practice, for hours after the tutor had dismissed them. As a result, Kildred got better and better, and Kollek would stay the same. This led to Kollek getting into trouble, and turning to chaos. Kildred trained harder than ever, in the fear that he would have to fight Kollek some day. He had and still has a dream of becoming the champion chosen to fight in the battle.

Magic User/ Commoner:Manipulator, mainly enchants his axe to astonishing ends. Also can enchant other metal objects to a lesser degree.

Social Standing: Master of the trade, a master fighter and magic user. Not much good at anything else. Allied with the Controll.

Home Village: He lived in the outskirts of a large city, called Kindel. He was out of the way, on the cities edge. There he would train for long periods of time. It was a small, urban area, with two smiths and a general store, and a large farm. The mines were also a mile away, and he would often see his father going that way.

Up for Love: Aren't we all? (straight)

Other: does not have a favorite color.

Tell me if I need to fix anything! :)

Name: Gilrawën (Raven among humans) Nalgothrond

Age: 108 (though she looks like 20)

Race and Appearance: Elf. 6'1, slender and delicate. Waist-length dark blond hair, intense green eyes, fair skin, plump lips, straight nose. She often looks distant and lost in thoughts, and sometimes a bit sad. She rarely smiles or laughs, but when she does it's the most charming thing you've ever seen/heard. She's very gracious, and it almost looks like she is floating when she walks.
Spoiler
Image

Personality: She's naturally playful and curious, but since Gilrawën was raised to take over as the leader of Eajra and taught to behave as befits a young princess, she tries to hide it. When she was a child she was often reprimanded for talking to much and being too cheery, so nowadays she seldom speaks, even tough she wants to. She always watches her manors but wishes to leave the town so that she can act as she wants to and do as she pleases, though at the same time she is a bit afraid to go out into the unknown.

She's friendly, but withdrawn, and if someone come to her town in need of healing she will gladly help that person even if the other healers don't want her to.

History: Gilrawën has spent her whole life in Eajra. She was raised to take over the leadership of the town, and even though she sometimes felt like running away from all the demands and expectations, she stayed and tried to be the child that her parents wanted her to be.

The elves of Eajra are always very polite to her, but remain distant since she is supposed to be "above" them, therefore she has always felt lonely. If it wasn't for Tathar she wouldn't have anyone to talk to at all.

Lately her wish to leave the town has become stronger, and she is just waiting for the right opportunity to run away.

Magic User/Commoner: Magic user, manipulator. Uses her powers to manipulate the vegetation around her and is a superb healer.

Social Standing, Alliance: Noble, Neutral

Home Village: Eajra is a small town located deep in the forests of Mare Arbores. The homes of the local elves are hidden among the branches of the giant trees, so outsiders can walk right under the village without even noticing it's there. The elves never take contact with the outside, and prefers to keep to themselves, but outsiders often tries to find their town.

Most of the inhabitants of Eajra are peace loving healers, and sick people travel to their town in hopes of being cured, though the town is hard to find and the elves often choose not to help unless the person is dying. Except for the healers, they are also well known for the fine clothes that they make.

Since they are pacifists they don't eat meat. Most of their food comes from the trees they live in, which have been manipulated to bare all types of fruit. They never fight, and if the town is attacked (which is highly unlikely due to its location) they hide in the wilderness until the attackers has moved on.

Eajra has been controlled by the Nargothrond family for centuries and the inhabitants are far more loyal to them than they are to the actual royal family of Mare Arbores, which causes some conflict with the royalties.

Up for Love: Yes, straight.

Other: Her familiar is a red fox named Tathar, and he is with her at all times. They can communicate telepathically.

Name: Cadence "Cady" Faraway

Race and Appearance: Human.

Image

Cadence has always been a little bit goofy and she's not afraid to let it show. She colours her hair red, has one of the biggest smiles you've ever seen and favours vintage clothing. Cadence has big, dark eyes to contrast with her pale skin. Her figure is slim and somewhat on the boyish side.

Personality: Cadence is naive, cheerful and very sociable. She's always liked to stand out from the crowd and she's full of opinions, though they might not always make a whole lot of sense. She isn't very worldly and she's difficult to teach anything to as she has such a mind of her own.

Cadence gives the impression of listening to people but it's like water off a duck's back. She doesn't take in anything more than she wants to and always continues down her own path in life.

One of the few lessons from her dad that did get through is that everything has an order. Cadence was able to understand this at an early age, seeing that there are rules which govern the earth. The seasons change every year, the sun rises and it falls. There's always a little leeway in these rules as the sun might rise later on one day than the next, but it will always rise.

Chaos is not something she can understand. If it has rules then it isn't chaos and if it has no rules it has no place in her world.

History:

Cadence was always full of a very loud curiosity and she was that girl in the village who everyone flocked to. She wore what she wanted and other girls copied her and claimed it was a fashion statement but more often than not it was just something Cady wanted to wear.

She didn't have any siblings so her parents devoted all of their attention to her and they encouraged her to ask questions and to be creative. They encouraged her to be whoever she wanted to be so Cadence believes these are choices everyone in the world has. That's the way the world works.

Her mum was an artist and her dad was a carpenter so they lived in a beautiful cottage and Cady had her own room and a lot of her own things. There was a little flower plot in the garden where she could grow anything she wanted and because her mum grew food there, Cady decided that she would grow flowers and give them to people to make their homes look nicer.

She's a sweet child and has always been a bit of a champion of the just, happily including anyone in her games and speaking out against those who don't include others. She got into this because she's confident and she knows the way the world is supposed to work. But she's also prideful, naive and stubborn.

Magic User/ Commoner: She's a creator.

Social Standing as Well as your Alliance: She's of middle class and her magic has never been trained. A master creator came to the village and saw a lot of potential in her but found the child unteachable and filled with awful magic habits and too narrow a mind. Because of this Cady's magic isn't very under her control and is, in all honesty, rather chaotic and very strongly tied to her emotions. Cadence is control.

Home Village: Pathos

It's a small village with a mayor, a village healer and skilled craftsmen. They're located in a valley beyond a small mountain range so travellers are few and when a magician or an entertainer comes through, they're given a big welcome and treated with a lot of respect. Children in the village are not trained in magic and most leave to make a life for themselves in a bigger town, believing they are destined for bigger things. This is simply the way the village is - visiting magicians are treated so respectfully that the villagers get it into their heads that magic is special and so the magical children rarely stay.

It's a very self sufficient village and there aren't a whole lot of luxuries but they have food and they train in trades from an early age, the girls often learning to sew, cook and care for the young while the boys learn to hunt, farm or train in the village guard. Not that they have trouble often. There's only one way in and one way out of the village so it's very defensible and nobody is only a guard. They have guard duty once or twice a week and the rest of the time hunt or farm. During the harvesting season, only one is on guard duty at each entrance.

Up for Love: Yes

Other: Feel free to be from the same village.

Name: Asabelle Dammensdottir

Race and Appearance: Dwarf. Asabelle stands at a meager 3'4", (though she insists she's 3'4" and three quarters), having been born in a town where shortness, even by dwarf standards, is common. She's rather stocky, and weighs about as much as an overweight toddler. Dwarves from elsewhere sometimes mistake her for a child, and humans almost always do, despite her whiskery chin. Asabelle has long, reddish brown hair, which she sometimes has her sister braid down her back, but mostly lets it tangle and knot up around her shoulders. She likes to dress in colourful, though simple, garb, and tends to wear gold jewelry.
Spoiler
Image

Personality: Head-strong and opinionated, Asabelle tries to make up for her height in personality, but usually just comes across as brash and, to some, annoying. She's very prideful, but would rather brood than pick a fight. In a lot of ways, she still acts like a child, though she's nearing middle-aged. She pretends to have a very high opinion of herself, and is somewhat conceited in the first place, but she's constantly second guessing and mentally berating herself whenever she does something wrong. She is allied with chaos because she believes if the seal is broken, she will have a better grip on her magic, which she is not much skilled at.

History: Asabelle was born and raised in the Mountain Town of Byrrh, and had a mostly happy childhood. She wanted to be an explorer when she was young, and would dive deep into the mountain, or would explore the outside, chasing after and talking to the robins and bluebirds who made their homes on the mountaintop. When she was a bit older, she discovered she had a small talent for creating magical items, after visiting her neighbour, who was an engineer. She wanted to be the greatest engineer in the world, and asked her neighbour if she could study under him. He agreed, and for years Asabelle tried to hone her skills. Many of her childhood friends moved away from Byrrh, wanting to live in cities or travel around, but Asabelle had lost her sense of adventure. She was determined to become a great magician. But, she never improved much. Her neighbour, an old dwarf who had no time to teach youngsters, and longed to move away himself, was getting frustrated with her, and told her that if she did not improve at all in the next year, he was going to drop her as an apprentice. A year passed, and when Asabelle had not improved, he made good on his promise, and moved, supposedly, to Cor Ferro. Asabelle was distraught, there being no other engineers in the town to teach her, and for a while she lived a thoroughly unhappy existence brooding in her house and yelling at the birds when they came to visit her. Years passed, and she started to go a bit insane, and she was going so far as to make a plan to track down her old neighbour and kill him. However, as she was making arrangements to sell her house, a small group of magicians moved to Byrrh, hearing what a nice place it was for magic users, and among them was a skilled engineer. Upon hearing this, Asabelle convinced him to let her be his apprentice, and though her improvement is slow, she has studied under him ever since.

Magic User/ Commoner: Magic User; Engineering.

Social Standing as Well as your Alliance: Apprentice; Chaos

Home Village: The Mountain Town of Byrrh (full title)
The Mountain Town of Byrrh, or MT of Byrrh, or simply Byrrh, is a town lying just inside the peak of the mountain Kip, on the outer edge of Montibus Caelum. Byrrh was founded by a vagabond group of dwarves many, many years ago, and after living there for several generations, the dwarves started getting shorter and shorter. Some said that it was the high altitude that stunted their growth, but others say it's the fault of drinking from the internal rivers and streams that run through the mountain, and that the water must have something in it. Still to this day, the dwarves get shorter with each generation, but they've never bothered to move. There's, of course, plenty of water, and a curious sort of fruit tree grows on the side of the mountain, making it a pleasant place to live. Most of the dwarves of Byrrh are nice, tight-knit folks (there not being very many of them so high up), and they are ruled by a kind-hearted princess-of-sorts. There aren't many magic users in the town, but the ones who do live there tend to cause quite a few problems. They've organized a sort of underground club between themselves, and most of them look down on the lay people. They actively speak out against the princess-of-sorts (who is not a magic user herself), usually disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing, and are widely respected by the people. This has caused a few small revolution-sort-of-things, and has tipped living in Byrrh a lot towards the magic user's favour (they no longer have to pay taxes, and live in the best houses, for example.) A lot of the magicians in Byrrh are sided with Chaos, and therefore a lot of the rest of the town is, as well.

Up for Love: Not likely.

Other: She has a younger sister, and six older brothers, four of which don't live in Byrrh any longer, and neither do her mother or father.

Name: Simply known as "Phantom"

Race and Appearance: Human, Phantom hides a lot of what he looks like, including wearing a mask, and stuff that would make him less noticeable in crowds. Other than that, no one really knows what Phantom truly looks like or who or where he came from. As far as anyone will tell you, he's a man in a mask that no one has seen his true form, because of this the locals all named him "Phantom" but if someone is to catch him without his mask, there said to go insane. He also has a short sword that he keeps on his person at all times.

Personality: Phantom is as mysterious as he proves to be in appearance, he talks cryptically and gives people a sense that there is a lot more to him then just mysterious appearances seemingly out of no where, and cryptic talk. When someone is to ask him his name he just says "An old soul who seeks to make the world a little brighter before it fades away." other than that, no one knows what he means by that and or what he's after.

History: No one knows his history since he doesn't talk about it at all.

Magic User/ Commoner: He's a magic user, and he's a skilled one at that, but to local knowledge he only has one form of magic, and that's teleportation. He can teleport short distances, he can teleport long distances, but it takes a lot more out of him than when he uses it during combat. His short sword is about the deadliest part to him since he doesn't use magic other than teleport. But between teleport and his short sword, they make a deadly combination that even the most alert of people take seconds to see his moves coming.

Social Standing as Well as your Alliance: Mysterious warrior that even the most skilled of warriors find hard to beat, he's made attacks on both Control and Chaos, dispatching skilled warriors, as they meet him where they don't want to, so most believe he's neutral.

Home Village: Phantom lives in a forest in the mountain ranges, but he's much like the Slenderman, if you see him, your most likely already dead, because once you see him, you normally don't make it out of the forest alive. Because of this, people nickname the forest Phantom's Forest.

Up for Love: Yea, sure, good luck with that.

Other: Nada.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!

Formerly: Avalon

How is this SB going to open up? Like, how are the characters going to be introduced? Do they know eachother? I'm anxious to start!

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Reserving a neutral human engineer.
A man without a plan, or anything else for that matter. (Except a review thread).

You, who have all the passion for life that I have not? You, who can love and hate with a violence impossible to me? Why you are as elemental as fire and wind and wild things...
