Stardust Shade tore through the sky, the summer sun making his white coat shine. His mane and tail trailed behind him, making streaks of black and purple through the sky. He breathed in the fresh air, which smelled of fresh cut grass, and skimmed across the top of a lake, letting the cool drops of water splatter him. He came skidding to a stop in front of Ponyville, and went galloping through the town, shouting at the top of his lungs. He ignored the confused looks of the bystanders. After all, why should he care? He was accepted into the Wonderbolt Academy, the most prestigious flying group in all of Equestria.
