I vote, going to some hotel, taking a room all together. Darcy had her money on her, in the bag, and I guess there's a logical explanation to why someone else could have some on them as well.. I think they would also first try to contact the others they know from the Society and the Academy - Torrence, the other Monstrumologists, Darcy's uncle and so on.. Whether they would manage to contact them or not, I can't tell..

I kinda thought until now Torrance was Darcy's uncle... He isn't?

I assumed that Torrance was the principal of the academy, while Darcy's uncle was the head of the society

It's the other way around xD

Torrance is the head of Society, and Darcy's uncle, as the Academy's principal, is under him in hierarchy. He did, however, pushed a little for Darcy to be a part of the team (or at least let's say so for now) in the Society, as he and Torrance know each other and have worked together closely before.

Sorry! I will post in the next 24 hours, and hopefully we can clear things up and get moving again! The plan is for them to go to a hotel and then, yes, try and contact Torrance and the other monstrumologists. They probably won't be able to.

If the bridges are going to be blown up, how are they going to evacuate the populace? We need a route that would make sense and somehow come up with a reason why the other monstrumoligists can't use it to get in, since our characters are on their own in this. It wouldn't make much sense for it to be tunnels or something, since that's a two-way route.

Also, AriaAdams, do you have any idea when in the story Korina should go to visit her sister with Darcy? If Korina has to hack the systems and Darcy's going to be somewhere else during that time, then right after that might be a good time? (Before the monster armies, but after Korina violates a few security laws?)

Yes, that would be a good time ^^ I'm kind of planning on having Darcy meet Mr A. again at some point.. Maybe she could be out in the park (if there still is a park, lol), and talk to him, and then Korina would come (just a bit after Mr A. leaves, but in time to see that there was someone talking to Darcy) - that would give them both place for some confessions, and I think that Darcy should tell someone about her "connections" with the Bloodletters.

Also, people. Let's make this evacuation hacking thinking mourning stuff last a bit longer.. I mean, it's fun and interesting and all, but let's face it - so far, the plot lasted for only two days, don't you agree that we could slow down just a tiny bit? XD

Being an island, there are plenty of boats with which to evacuate. Big boats. Like, tankers.
And yes, slowing down would be a good plan.

Somebody will have to remember to pull Anton from the sinking car. Also, does Jaegar's metal arm have issues when it's wet?

You sank Anton's car? O.o He's going to kill Korina when he wakes up xD The gun he salvaged from the ruins, and that car, is all he has left from his parents.
